Ember:i let go of him, and looked at the police. "I can by you some time go get away from here." i told him, getting of the vespa. there was no way in hell i was riding with him again.

Harper: I wrapped my arms around my stomach and was bent over nearly double as I gasped for breath. "You have arms of steel and nerves of noodles" I remarked. Suddenly, I heard something, or someone, and I looked around. The alley was relatively dark, and there was a dumpster, but it didn't look like anyone else was here...still...standing up, I looked around the area, and heard the noise again. it was coming from the dumpster. I peered in and was surprised to find a girl in it. "Hello...are you okay?" I asked.

I looked up, my arms clutching my stomach. I curled into a tighter ball of pain, tears rolling down my cheeks.

Harper: uh oh...she was definitely NOT okay. "Hey, it's okay. Look, I'ma get you out of there, okay?" I climbed into the dumpster and picked her up. "Hey, Ember! Make yourself useful and get over here." I handed the girl over to her so I wouldn't drop her.

Ember: i picked up the girl. "Not good." i muttered, putting her on the ground and pulling out medical suplies from my bag. go figure, i cant get food for my life, but i had a hospital in my bag.

I cried out in pain as she laid me on the ground. I started crying, the pain becoming worse.

Harper: I climbed out of the dumpster. At least it was empty. I stood in front of it as I watched Ember tend to the girl. The girl looked familiar....did she go to the school? I don't remember. I shrugged and was about to walk over when i felt something grab my shoulder from behind. I was slammed backwards, my head hitting the dumpster, and I fell to the ground. "Shit" I said. I reached a hand back and felt blood. I stood up, but something knocked me to the ground again, hitting me full in the stomach. I landed hard, the wind knocked out of me. Craaaap.

(i gotta go now. see you tmrw, maybe)

I watched in terror then closed my eyes, a gun appeared in my hand. I raised it up, opened my eyes and pulled the trigger. The bullet stopped infront of the guy but blood covered it. Then a guy appeared and fell to the ground, dead. The gun then disappeared.

EMbeR: i jumped to my feet, sing the rockwall kids. i drew to daggers from my jacket sleaves, and prepared to fight. the lunged at me, but i round kicked them, making them stager back, i had one dagger to one of their necks, and the other pointing a the others chest. "Leave now." i growled. i looked at the girl, "A gun...really?"

Harper: It took me a while to get my breath, and I felt absolutely ridiculously lying on the ground gasping like some grounded fish. Which I was, really. When I could finally breath, I got off the ground. "What. the . FUDGIN HELL WAS THAT????" I demanded. "Who are you?" I asked the new person. "and who was the guy that hit me? That effin HURT"

Harper: I raised an eyebrow, but walked over to the girl to help her up. "What do you mean 'not like us'. You mean like...not wei...uh, i mean...not, um, what's the word? Gifted, like us? Like, just normal kids?"
