Ember: i rolled my eyes at him. "Jeez, im not asking to eavesdrop! you think i have control over this crap?" i let out a hallo laugh. "I wish man." i followed him, cause he was still the most interesting person i have met here so far.

Harper: I gave her my "i am not interested in holding a conversation with you, missy" look. "I have calculus. Very hard calculus. That I need to pass with a diploma. and I have not done my homework. So I need to get to class early so I can copy down the answers in the back of my book so I will have something to turn in. Did I mention that calculus is hard, and that I need it to graduate?"

Ember: i rolled my eyes at him, and took his pile of books from him, looking at the calculus homework. easy, i jotted down the answers and passed his books back to him, turning around and walking away.

Harper: Well that was easy. Free calculus homework. I walked over to the classroom and sat down with a grin. I walked over to the teacher and handed her my 'homework'. She looked at it. "Ah, I am glad you have graced me with one of your rare homework assignments, but this was due yesterday. Do you have today's homework as well?" I grinned wider. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" I advised, then walked back to my seat. Teachers. you give a little, and they always ask for more. As a matter of fact, I had not even copied down the assignment yesterday...I was far too interested in seeing how many pieces I could break a paperclip. I decided to endure this one period before making my escape during lunch.

Harper: My eyes widened. Harper, you are hearing voices. This is not good. Now this definitely proves you have gone insane. Well, if the page was there...I opened my book. Poof! How the hell did that get there?? I didn't even know my homework assignment! Well, if I turned it in now...then the teacher would probably think I was cheating. Even if she didn't, that was too scholarly for me...and too weird...I had some honor you know. Not much. but some. Gosh. I closed my book and leaned back, counting the ceiling tiles

Harper: oh...so I wasn't crazy...it was just that girl. I made a noise through my nose and sat up again. Lucky for me I didn't think in this class. GO AWAY i thought loudly. Stalk someone else, please. And shouldn't you be in class anyways?

Harper: Bug...haha, bug. I actually ate a bug the other day...it wasn't that bad, but when I was brushing my teeth, I ended up spitting out some of its legs...that was a tad unnerving. Worms weren't bad. I could totally pull off the eating bit on Fear Factor. When it came to bugs anyways. I wasn't a fan of internal organs. More kids started coming in.

Harper: About damn time. The class started, and the teacher went on to drone about derivatives and the such. Blech. I flipped through the pages of the calculus book randomly, wincing at some of the problems, and stopping to read anything that looked mildly interesting, which wasn't much.

Ember: i walked to the woods and trained a bit. i needed practice with throwing knifes. i took a set out of my hair that were designed to look like chopsticks. i threw one, and hit the center of a not in the tree about 30 feet away from me. bullseye. i smiled, and threw acouple others.

Harper: I was half-asleep when the teacher finally assigned the homework, and by some miracle I managed to wake up. Blinking groggily, I copied down the assignment before putting my head on my book. The bell rang, but I didn't get up, and instead just sat there while everyone else left. I waited, and finally the teacher came over to my desk. "Harper, the bell rang." I groaned a little, but didn't lift my head up. "Are you getting enough sleep?" she asked. "Idunno" I mumbled, "I felt alright this mornin but now..." "Are you sick?" "I dunno..." "Maybe it was something you ate." "Maybe....i had some coffee...it didn't taste good..." "If you feel really sick, you should go home before you do something drastic." "like puke?" "Y-yes..." "Okay...maybe i'll do that..." "Here, I'll write you a note to the office." "thanks..." I said, and lifted my head up, rubbing my eyes. I slowly got out of my seat and shuffled over to her desk as she wrote me a pass, and I collected my books and zombie-walked out of the classroom. After I was a sufficient distance down the hall, I turned, stuffed my books into my locker, and headed for the gym. I stripped in the changing room and put on a pair of trunks instead, then threw my clothes in my gym locker and headed for the toilet. Taking a breath, I pushed the lever and dove in, turning into a fish at the last moment.

Harper: I swam down the sewage until I met the main pipe, then took the left. There was a place that I usually went to whenever I was skipping during school, and I had hid clothes over there as well for such occasions, always two pairs so I'd have an extra in two different places. It was a nice swim, and finally I reached a gutter that opened up into the lake. I swam around in the lake just for the heck of swimming. Then I neared the waterfront that opened up into the woods, and leaped out of the water, landing as a human. that was when I saw ember. I stared at her in shock for about two seconds before opening my mouth. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" I shouted and dove promptly back in the water, not resurfacing until I was several yards away from her. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE????"

Harper: I scowled and blew bubbles under the water as I tried to regain my temper. What was she, stalking me?? Jesus Christ! I ducked under the water and resurfaced, drying my face and pushing my hair back with my hands. "Today is NOT my day" I said.

Harper: "Yeah, well this is where I usually go to when I skip school," I say defensively with a little bit of accusation thrown in. Oh jesus...has she found my clothes?? I need to get those...but I didn't quite want to get out of the water yet. Hell to that, she could read my thoughts, I knew she'd go find them and hand them over to me like I was some incapacitated person. No sirree. I got out of the water and sloshed over to where I had hid my clothes and a towel. I pulled the towel out first and dried my face vigorously.

Harper: After I finished drying myself completely, next came the tricky part...dressing myself...normally it wasn't so hard, because i'd always be ALONE. I glared at Ember before sighing. Oh well. I took my clothes and walked off some in the woods till I was a fair distance from her, then took off my trunks and hurriedly put my shorts and jeans on. I put my shirt on as I walked back. Last thing I needed was flip flops. I dropped my towel and trunks in the hiding place and walked off.
