June stroked his cheek tenderly.
"It doesn't matter now though.. We're here.. now get better soon... I have to go check on Ameila.. Kayla's got her, I might bring her here to see daddy..." She smiled at 'daddy' and kissed Jason's forehead.
Yup.
Much better.

James followed in after her and instantly went to her arms, checking to see if they were okay.
Aside from light bruising she was fine, he let out a breath.
"Where? Left?.. When nothing is going right.. go left..."

Raela held her hand up and closed her eyes.
It seemed that she was trying to focus on something.

Jason then pressed his lips to hers, cupping her jaw gently.

James took a step back and sighed, he was simply the muscle in this operation.


June cuddled closer and then pulled back, wincing.
"I'd love to make out with you, really I would.. but my stitches have already been torn twice and... you're making it awfully hard for me not to want to rip them again..Could.. we.. just sleep?"

"Wait what!?" he cried worriedly.
"Where are you hurt? Are you okay?"

Raela snapped her eyes open and took off running down the hallway in front of them.

June waved her hand at him dismissively, shaking her head.
"I just got shot and stabbed a few times, no big deal.." She murmured, resting her head on his chest.

James ran off after her watching the halls.

He quickly pulled her close, worry seeping through his veins.
"Did they do anything else?" he growled.

Raela then turned a few directions sharply before the faint screaming grew louder.

June shook her head and stroked his cheek.
"No. You're the only one I'd ever let... do something else.. unless you want a threesome. Then I'm cool for whatever.." She joked.
She smiled at him.

James grimaced and continued on after her.
He hated that noise.
That sound of pain and desolation.

Jason sighed harshly and buried his face into her hair, stroking her back.
"As long as they didn't do that. I think I'd get committed to death row."

Raela let out a feral snarl, balling one of her hands into a tight fist.
She then raced towards the door up ahead, loudly yelling out a battle cry.
So much for being sneaky.
She litterally punched the door in and off it's hinges, quickly slamming her hand into one of their faces while sharply back kicking another.

June nuzzled him, happy to be near him.
She bit her lip after a moment.
"I..For the next bit.. I kind. I kinda want to stick near you, or at least have more security measures taken for our place and whatnot.. George, he's gonna try and get me again, my guard will be up.. but I know him.. he's not gonna stop until he gets what he wants.. or until he's dead. I know.. cause that's what I'd do.." She said softly, a bit of dark regret in her voice.

James followed in after, a bit of a grimace on his face as he watched her clear the room quickly.
He was more afraid of getting in her way.
He went to the firghtened little girl and smiled softly, showing her that he was no harm to her then began to unstrap her. He had her clinging to him in his arms after a moment, her tiny cries muffled by his shirt.
He glanced to a panting Raela and winced at the alarm.
"We best be off. Lead the way."

"Wh-Where..? Wh-Where's my M-Mommy!?" the little girl sobbed, burying her small dirty face into his neck.
Her tiny form shook as she cried. It looked like they hadn't fed her in weeks.
Raela turned to the little girl slowly, eyes wide and tears forming.
She had black hair, just like her daughter used to.
"Sweetie..? I-Is your name Taylor? Taylor Rayne?" she asked her in a soft, shaky voice.
Then, the child sniffled, peeling her face away and looked to her.
Matching pale green eyes.
Freckles on her nose and cheeks.
"M-Mommy?"
Raela let out a sob and pulled the little girl into her arms, sobbing.
"Oh god...Taylor...Taylor it's me. It's Mommy," she whispered, pressing gentle kisses on her forehead and hair.
"Mommy!"
The mother and daughter were reunited after six long years. She was nine years old now.

Jason nodded. "What if we get Kayla to get you a job at Ruby's? The boys always go over with Raela, sometimes when James fills in for Matt, and Kayla watches over them. Ameila can come with us so we can ensure her safety also?"

James stood back, feeling a bit third wheelish.
He decided to be useful.
He glanced out the door and frowned when he didn't see any guards. They must have taken them all out, June had said she had done damage when she got her revenge for them hurting her boytoy.
As she had put it.
"I know this is a touching moment.. but we really need to get out of here." He warned.

June nodded.
"That's good. I just.. I need to know that she will be safe, it would kill me and I would.. I would do awful things to get her back.. anything."

Jason nodded and pressed his forehead to hers.
"She's safe," he reassured.

Raela nodded and took off running with the nine-year old in her arms.
"Sweetie, I'm gonna do an up and away," she told her in a warning voice.
"Okay!" she yelled, trying to sound strong.
She approached the window she broke through quickly and, as she ran, placed her foot on the windowsill and launched out, snapping her wings open. She hovered in the air, waiting for her husband.

June nods, and closes her eyes.
"Sleep then.."

James followed quickly and, again, took a protective position around the two as the sped away.
It seemed relatively simple.
He decided to not question it, that usually made things fall apart.

"I'll watch over you. I don't need to," he whispered.
He stroked her hair and rested her head on his chest as he laid back against the pillows.

Raela poured on the speed as fast as she could, holding Taylor tightly and safely in her arms.
A tear trickled down.

June stretched out on her bed but winced after a moment, pain from her side crying out at the sudden movement. It had already been three weeks and her wounds were still sore to the touch, she grimaced.
She used to heal faster.
Maybe it was the adrenaline.
Or maybe...
She put a hand to her stomach in panic.
Could she be?
No.
Not possible.
She got out of bed quietly, careful not to disturb Jason, and went to her little hidden calendar in the bathroom next to her makeup, a sure sign that Jason would never find it.
She had skipped her period a few times already and she hadn't noticed.
Shit balls.

James rubbed his eyes and took a sip of his coffee as the boys jumped around the room, trying to get their hockey gear on.
Early morning practice.
For four year olds.
It was insane.
He ran a hand through his bristly chin and sighed.
Another time then.
He pulled on a pair of jeans and grabbed his keys.
"Okay girlies, We're heading out." He announced to the sleepy girls.
They were still groggy and not ready to start their girl bonding day yet, he chuckled.

Jason weakly rolled over to his stomach with a grunt and woke up.
June wasn't with him, in bed, by his side.
"June?" he called with a slur in his voice.

Raela made a sound of recognition while Taylor, who had already woken up, yawned.
"M'kay, Daddy," she murmured, rubbing her eye.
She had already taken a liking to calling him that.

June came back into the room with a mild grimace on her face and looked up as the baby began to cry.
Saved by the bell.
She hurried to the baby and picked her up and started to feed her, June's mind off in contemplation.
Another baby.
Jason's baby.
"I'm with the baby.." She called back.
She sighed shakily.

James smiled and opened the door for the boys.
"Love you guys, see ya later."

Jason sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes.
He slowly shifted and moved out of the bed, readjusting his sleep pants.
He walked towards June and Ameila.

Taylor waved at them with a sleepy smile.
"Bye, Benji! Bye, Decky!" she called.
They turned and waved back with big smiles on their faces.
"Bye, Sissy!"

June rubbed her eyes as he walked in and shifted her hold on the baby.
"Hey.. babe.." She murmured, a bit nervously.
Should she tell him?
He'd be glad.
She was scared.
She almost died with Ameila, would she be okay?
Did it matter?
With this little thing already growing inside her?
She sighed tiredly.

James got them into a car with a sleepy smile and took a sip of his coffee in his travel mug before starting the car.
The hockey moms were gonna be all over him again, a thing he both hated and loved.
He grinned, it even got Raela a little jealous, bless her.

Jason frowned, tilting his head.
He noticed something off.
She was nervous.
Why?
"You okay?" he asked softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Raela sat up and looked at her little girl with a sleepy smile.
"Morning Mommy!" she yelled happily.
She ruffled her soft raven curls.
"Morning sweetheart."

June leaned into his lips and sighed, the debate had risen in her chest.
"Nothing. I'm on my period." She lied.
He knew better than to bother her when her time of the month came, or all hell would break loose.
"I'm going to see Ray today, k?" She murmured after a minute, her decision finalized.

She texted Raela a few minutes later to tell her just that.
"GIRLS DAY. I AM COMING OVER WITH THE BABY. HAVE..GOD..UH..COFFEE. SEE YAH XOXOX <3"

Jason sighed and nodded.
He pressed his lips to hers gently.
"Alright. I'll drive you, kay? And no arguing about it. It'll at least let me know that you got there safely," he murmured.

Raela smiled and texted back.
Good to know. Taylor would love to meet you two. When are you coming over? <3

June nodded and put the baby back in the cradle, partially stripping on her way back to the room. She started to put on her clothes and then picked up her buzzing phone.
Few mins.. I gotta tlk 2 u about something important... XOXOXOX<3
In a few minutes she was dressed and ready and was picking a few things for Ameila.
"Jason.. You don't have to get dressed if you don't want..." She murmured, picking up their baby.

Raela frowned.
Important good? Or Important bad? xx

Jason's lip quirked up for a side-ways smile as he grabbed his shirt.
He slid it on. "It's a bit chilly outside. The neighbors would think I'm crazy," he chuckled.
He then sat down on the edge of the bed and shoved on his shoes.
