Raela sniffled and snuggled into his embrace, closing her eyes at the feel of his warmth.
She felt his heartbeat and heard the melodic sound.
Her chest rose and fell as she panted, trying to catch her breath from their recent exertion.

Raela coughed and sniffled, setting the cup of water down as she weakly crawled into bed.
She'd been sick for a few weeks, not the morning sickness that comes with being pregnant but with the sickness that comes from being so deathly ill.
She hadn't told James about her puking up blood yet.

Jason rocked Ameila slowly. It was 8:00 pm and the twins wete asleep but Ameila was crying softly, unable to sleep.

(Thanks!! You too! I'm super exhausted- We had a giant haunted house and I had to scream at people and whatever... my voice is super raw..)

James came into the room with a soft smile on his face as he held a tray of scrambled eggs and toast.
"Hey, sweet, I brought you some food... You feeling better?" He asked.
He was a bit worried.
He loved her so much.

June tossed in her now empty bed and sighed.
She hated sleeping alone.
Ever since she had started sleeping with someone it was hard not to treasure the comforting feeling of having another body holding you tight.

(Ahaha. Sounds super fun. I spent my Halloween drinking tea, watching doctor who and handing out candy ❤)

Jason sat down with a sigh and brushed his thumb against her cheek comfortingly, rocking her and holding her close.
And then something beautiful happened.
"Dada..."
His eyes widened as he looked to his eldest daughter, eyes filling with tears of shock and awe.
He got up and carefully ran to his wife, a tearful beam on his face.

Raela shook her head with a shaky and faint smile.
And then the sight and smell of food filled her two senses.
She shut her eyes tightly, trying to hold back the bile that was rising in her throat.
She got up swiftly, racing into the bathroom, and began to throw up into the toilet, heaving and puking and crying all at the same time.
Her hair was already in a ponytail.
She peeled her eyes open to see the mixture of blood and throw up.

(That sounds relaxing- I had to lay on a gurney and scream at people while a friend pulled sausages out of my shirt.. the sausages got a bit gross after a few hours though)

June sat up groggily and rubbed her eyes at her excited husband.
"What in the sleep god's name-"
"Mama.."
"Oh..." She sputtered her eyes watering.
"Did she...just..."

James rushed in after her and after seeing the blood in the toilet bowl began to call 9-1-1.
"How long has this been going on? When did it start?" He asked frantically.
He was scared.
She could have kept it from him and that's what hurt the most.
It was like a stab in the chest.
She didn't trust him enough.
Stab.

Jason laughed and sat down beside her, rocking her back and forth.
"She did," he whispered, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"Dada...Mama..," Ameila murmured and gently clapped her hands.

Raela sniffled and gripped the toilet bowl gently.
"I've been throwing up since two weeks ago...the blood a few days ago," she hoarsely whispered and began to throw up again.
She only kept it from him so he didn't worry.
So he didn't have to take time off work.
So she didn't have to worry the kids.

(OMGOMGOMG... Just went to an MTRENCH concert... I am kinda still emotionally stunned... )

June wiped a stupid happy tear from her face and nodded, kissing her child's head.
"Yes.. Yes that's right.. Dada and Mama.."

He ran a hand through his hair and stopped halfway to tug at it. He just got so frustrated that she couldn't just trust him and believe in him and let him take a little of the weight off of her.
That's was one of the reasons he was with her.
To help her.
To love her.
"Hi... yes.. My wife is coughing up blood... yes that's our address.. Yes I'll hold... Raela.. You know.. It's better for us to worry and you to be fine than you to be gone and us to be overcome with grief..." He said hoarsely.

Raela began to sob and clutch her stomach, hugging herself.
He hated her.
"I'm s-sorry....S-So so-"
She couldn't finish as she sputtered up blood.

Jason kissed the top of Ameila's head, happy tears trickling down.
"Mama and Dada are here, baby girl...always."

(Fan- Fucking-tasmic... Mike and Matt smiled and waved at me... me and a friend were waiting for her mom and they were walking near us, no one else was there... and they smiled and waved at our shocked faces...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)

James dropped the phone and went to her side, his strong hands rubbing her back gingerly before resting his head lightly on her back, his lips on her shoulder.
"I love you.. this is why I hate it when you leave things out... I love you too much and feels like you don't love me as much when you neglect to tell me things...Do.. Do you still love me? Love us?" He asked in a whispery voice.

June laughed and hugged her husband from behind.

Raela nodded frantically as she sobbed, shaking in his grasp.
"I can never fall out of love with you...it's you and me...always," she whispered softly in between her tears, desperately trying not to throw up again.
Her efforts failed however.
She sputtered up some more blood, more so than before.
It covered her chin, trickle down her neck, began to smear her chest and stain her shirt; it was splattered against the white tile floor and the whiteness of the toilet, the crimson a perfectly morbid contrast.
She felt her eyelids fluttering as she leaned into his embrace, her breaths weak.
"J-James..."

(I think I figured out why I'm having this happen to Raela...)

Jason smiled down at the little girl and kissed the top of her head, smiling.
"Mama...Dada..."
He nodded and rocked her slowly, looking over to his wife before handing Ameila to her.

(for a second I thought Ameila was Amelia...and I'd nickname her Amy...which led me to Amy Pond...OHGODMYFEELS I CAN'T. DOCTOR WHO. WEEPING ANGELS. ANGELS TAKE MANHATTAN. RORY. RIVER. DOCTOR. AHHHHHHH~ -sobs-)

James held her to his chest and wiped the blood off her mouth with his hand. He picked her up gently and carried her to the door, his face solid and jaw tense.
He wouldn't let her go.
Not now.
Not ever.
The ambulance's wailing came into hearing within a few seconds and they had parked in matter of minutes. They were in and driving to the hospital in another few moments.
James' face held the concentration.

June hugged her baby girl smiling.
"I can't wait until you're talking in full sentences.. or when I can start teaching you to fight.." She bubbled happily.

(WHY WOULD YOU WRITE THAT?? OH GAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWDDDD...SOBS !!!! ~DIES~)

Raela's eyelids continued to flutter as the blood trickled out from the corner of her mouth. Her hand, wrapped around his in a weak grasp, was already growing cold.
"James..."

Jason watched with love in his eyes, looking at his two girls. Absolutely perfect...

The EMTs worked feverishly, trying to diagnose the problem as James held onto his wife weakly. He closed his eyes tightly and poured all his energy into hoping she'd live.

June smiled at him and grimaced after a moment, forcing another smile over it. She gently gave the baby to Jason.
"Sorry.. bad cramps.." She mumbled before hurrying out of the room.
Once in the bathroom she lifted her shirt with a grimace, the cut that she had got this morning in practice hadn't healed yet, in fact it started to bleed rather than clot.
Wierd.

Raela weakly turned her gaze to her husband. She smiled faintly at him and gave him the strongest squeeze of his hand that she possibly could, which wasn't strong at all.
A tear trickled out of her eye.
She knew what was happening to her.
Someone who was brought back to life disturbed the balance of life and death. That balance was being righted.

Jason frowned but nodded.
A minute later, his wolf senses kicked in. He smelt the blood.
"June?" he called, getting up.

James shook his head, "No...No.. You can't... We.. The boys.. The girls... How..." He sobbed, holding her hand.
He kissed her cheek and wiped away the tear, and smearing her blood that was on his on her face.
His face was twisted in pain.
"No.." He whispered.

"Yeah honey? I'm fine.. Don't worry, I'm on my period.." She lied, wiping the blood away with kleenex.
"It's just gusher this time.. "She added.
She grimaced, why wasn't she healing, her DNA was modified. She healed even faster when it was a cut from metal.
Why?

Raela shook her head and very gingerly cupped his cheek.
She faintly smiled at him, pain and sadness lingering. But there was gratefulness.
Thank you for loving me.., her voice filled his head.
"I will always be with you," she whispered softly.
Her eyes began to flutter.

Jason knocked on the door worriedly.
"June, open up. Please?" he asked.
He set down Ameila, who was able to stand up on her own. "Mama..? Dada..?"

James stroked her cheek gently.
"I'll always love you."
(omfg..why am I tearing up because of this?)

June laughed and pulled her shirt down quickly and unzipped her pants. She opened the door.
"What? I'm doing fine..." She murmured.
She had an arm crossed over her tummy and where the cut was.

Jason frowned.
"Move your hands then," he spoke.

Raela smiled before her lips formed that neutral slant and her eyes stared blankly into his.
Her hand slowly slid off of his cheek, limp and growing cold.
Her heartbeat slowed and slowed until it beated it's last melodic sound and it ceased.

June gave him a nonchalant smile and did, there was only a bit of blood on her shirt.
"That's no big deal, I just cut myself in practice today, I just haven't got around to bandaging it yet... Thought it would clot sooner.. I was just being silly.."

James held on, shaking his head.
"No..NO.NO..." He hugged her to his chest tightly and began to shout.
Wailing out his misery.

Raela's eyelids, as she was lifted into her husband's arms, slid shut. Her cold lifeless body slumped against his.
Next to James was her spirit, sitting there with silent tears pouring down her cheeks.
It killed her inside to know that she had to leave him and she couldn't come back ever again.
From underneath her stained shirt, the heart shaped scar glowed and faded into smooth flawless skin, disappearing as if there was never a remnant of such.

Jason sighed and picked her up before setting her on the counter next to the sink. He rolled up her shirt and began to bandage her.

James fell to his knees and held her tight while crying.
"I love you.. always..."
He whispered finally.
He let go of her and the EMT's took over.
They had to take her to the morgue.
He had to tell his kids their mother was dead.
He stood and wiped away his tears.
"I'll get through this for you baby."
He took the wedding ring from her still warm fingers and pressed it to his lips then clenched his fist around it.
He took out his cell phone and turned away as the EMTs put a sheet over her face.
"Hello, yes, this is Declan's dad, yeah and Benji and Taylor.. Could you please get them out of class.. There has been a.. a death.. Yes.. Thank you.. I'll go and pick them up." He said calmly.
He sucked in a breath and raised his foot slowly then placed it on the ground in front of him.
"One step at a time." He whispered up into the clouds.

June sighed and ran a hand through his hair as he wrapped the gauze around her middle.

Raela watched with a sob and shakily smiled.
"James Blue...I will always be by your side...whether you know it or not..," she vowed softly, eyes shutting and the tears stopping as her spirit faded.
Taylor looked up as the teacher frowned from the phone she was at. "Taylor? Please pack up your belongings and head to the office."
Benji and Declan looked at each other from within the office, frowns on their faces. "Benji? Are we in trouble?" Declan asked.
His brother shook his head. "I don't think so."
"Mommy and Daddy are going to be so mad..."

Jason suddenly stiffened and straightened.
His wolf senses were tingling so-to-speak.
Something was wrong. As if a balance that hadn't been righted before was currently back to the way it should be.

"Hey guys... Here.. Daddy's gonna take you home now.. I gotta tell you guys something.." He murmured, picking Taylor up and taking Benji's hand.
He had slipped the ring into his pocket.
He had hastily wiped away the tears.

June looked up too and then covered her mouth.
"No." She whispered.
She could tell.
Their link had snapped.
She wiped away a tear and pulled her hubby close.

He held his wife close, knowing how her and Raela's bond had gotten.
How close they were.

"Oh.. those poor kids..."

James got them into the car first, not answering the question.
"Babies.. Daddy loves you very much, and Mommy does too.. She'll always be with you.. But Mummy has been sick for a while.. Today she got even sicker and Mummy ended up dying. It's okay though, Mummy is happy and she'll always look over us.. Okay? You guys don't have to go to school for a while.. Okay? And Daddy is gonna take a bit of time off work too..." He murmured, wiping a stray tear from his face.
