Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
"I know," he whispered, picking Ameila up and holding her close.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
(Sure)
Raela paced the living room nervously, biting her lip and crossing her arms.
Jason sat on the couch with Ameila, who just fell asleep.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James stepped out of the kitchen after placing yet another tray of baked goods on the stove top.
"How long? Eight hours now?" He asked, worried.
June swore as she saw her kidnapper's face.
She was tied to a chair, well, duct taped really, and she had already to try to saw her way out via pure will.
It wasn't going too hot when he arrived.
George.
"Hey, babe.. miss me? I certainly missed you... I remember the last time we were together... You fucking shot me." He murmured calmly.
June winced.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason nodded and got up, placing his daughter in the bassinet before pacing as Raela sat down.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James ran a hand through his hair and sighed roughly, things were beginning to get tense.
June let her face return to normal, no more little weakling or someone you could pity.
"What do you want George?"
"You." He answered with a deep grin.

Jason ran his hands through his hair.
He was going crazy.
Raela rubbed James arm to at least settle his nerves.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June frowned and let out a sigh like she was bored, though she was borderline terrified inside.
Her lack of action out in the field had made her soft.
Maybe?
Maybe it was just because she knew what George was capable of and that he was very similar to her.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason was practically pulling at his hair.
"We need to find her," he whispered hoarsely.
"We need to find her," he whispered hoarsely.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James stood, unsure of what to do with himself.
"They.. They have cameras at supermarkets.. Yeah? Doesn't June have a way to hack into those... d'you think if we could do that we could find out who took her?" He asked, worried.
June watched George walk away chuckling and the guards resume their lounging positions.
June felt her gut twist.

Jason nodded and ran to the desk, turning on the computer before Raela gently moved him out of the way, putting her head up into a ponytail. And then she took out a pair of prescription glasses and sat down. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard before her fingers worked magic, various menus popping up.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
They always seemed to get in such big messes.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason watched as Raela pulled up various videos, records and menus along with maps at a faster speed than Kayla, matching June's.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June worked with a renewed vigor at her bonds, her thumb nail all she needed to start ripping away the duct tape. The main issue was her feet, they had been smart enough to tape them as well which meant she'd have to do some contortion to try and get out, something she was not looking forward too.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela took a break, watching surveillance tapes.
"There!" Jason yelled, tapping his finger gently over a video on the screen.
"That's the bastard...George," he growled, seeing the video where his wife was getting kidnapped.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James raised an eyebrow.
"George? Who's he?"
June held back her triumphant cry when she finally broke through the first layer of duct tape. She need only to peel and her hands would be free.
The only issue was that it'd make a huge amount of noise, she had to wait, bide her time until the right moment.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
"The guy that June used to work with. Fucking prick!" He growled, eyes flaring amber.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James glanced at Raela with concerned eyes.
"Well.. How are we gonna go about this?"
"Well.. How are we gonna go about this?"
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela bit her lip and began to type in various codes and words as numbers.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June watched her guards, they were obviously just street guys George hired, he was probably going to kill them after.
How did she know?
Because she would have done the same if this was part of her mission.
She knew that in her current state she'd be less than qualified to fight off seven full grown men, who were used to fighting, with guns.
She bit her lip.
He was probably gonna try to wait her out, see if he could starve her into submission, though he'll probably give up after a few days and just try to beat her into it.
He knew her.
He'd know that it wouldn't work out well.
Why was he doing this then?
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
A few screens popped up as her fingers worked faster than ever, pictures showing and videos playing.
A criminal record showed for "George" with his license plate.
And then she hacked into the police system and began to trace the car.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James left the tense room to check on the kids, all of them were sound asleep and looking peaceful.
He smiled.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela's typing could be heard along with Jason's growling.
Declan shifted in his sleep before slowly turning to his father with half lidded eyes. "Daddy..?" he slurred.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James stroked his son's face, a smile still on his lips.
"Go back to sleep, son..." He murmured before heading back to the kitchen.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason also entered the kitchen with a loud sigh.
He looked exhausted.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James held up a cupcake to him, a sheepish smile on his face as he pushed the various plates with cookies and cakes a bit further away on the counter.
He baked when he was nervous.
It was a problem.
