Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James held up a cupcake to him, a sheepish smile on his face as he pushed the various plates with cookies and cakes a bit further away on the counter.
He baked when he was nervous.
It was a problem.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason shook his head but took it anyways. Raela told him to get her a snack.
He placed his hands on the counter with a sigh.
"How are we going to find her?" he asked hoarsely.
He looked to his friend but before he could answer, Ameila began to cry.
He sighed and went to his three month old daughter, picking her up and holding her as she sobbed. "Shhh...It's okay...Daddy's here," he whispered, a few tears in her eyes.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James furrowed his brow.
"June's usually the one with the plan.. Uh.. We go in, guns a blazing?"

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
"But how? We need to find her first," he murmured, shushing the little girl as she stopped crying. She looked to her dad with wide blue eyes like his.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James ran his hand through his hair, unsure of what to say.
"Maybe.. maybe Raela can track her down.. Or.. You could scent her out?" He said, just throwing out suggestions as best her could.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason looked to him with wide eyes.
"Shi-Shoot...Why didn't I think of that before?" he whispered.
He then went to Raela.
"Rae, Continue to try and track her down. Watch Ameila for me," he spoke.
She nodded and took the little girl before laying her in the Bassinet.
Jason went back to James. "You're coming with me to get her back," he spoke. "Just be sure to talk to Raela really fast. She seems...off."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James shook his head awkwardly and surprised.
He walked into June's office and looked at Raela concerned.
"Rae?"

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela looked up at him, "Hmm?"
She then went back to typing feverishly.
"What is it?" she asked him.
She didn't sound too happy about him leaving.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James placed a soft, loving kiss on her brow.
"I'll be back, I promise. I have to help Jason. He helped us, now I'll return the favor. I love you." He murmured quickly before hurrying off after Jason.
June closed her eyes.
That was it.
Think I've already been broken, these thugs were simply ignorant of who she was.
George could have done so much better.
They had their guns done and they were watching the price is right... idiots.
She ripped her hands free and brought them forward, using the momentum to do a hand spring and break the old wood chair against the ground, freeing her legs.
They weren't oblivious to that though.
She grimaced.
Damn.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela frowned because she wasn't able to say I love you back but quickly returned to typing.
Jason ran off, eyes flaring to bright glowing amber.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James followed as fast as he could, though having a bit of travel considering his lack of everyday physical activity.
Not to mention cardio really wasn't his thing.
He managed to keep a good pace though.
June was up on her feet and running before the thugs could get their guns but she only managed to down one of them before one of them fired a warning shot.
She grimaced.
Now this was a face off.
She hated face offs.
Especially when she was the one in trouble.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason continued to sniff her out before the sound of a shot froze his insides. "June..," he whispered.
He then roared out her name and ran as fast as he could. He lunged forward and exploded into his wolf form; this was his true self, the one that all of the changes led up to.
His coat was white and his eyes were bright glowing red.
Raela continued to type feverishly, eyes scanning the screen for anything, anything, that she could find.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James swore and paused, being left in the dust.
"I'm not as young as I used to be.. dammit.." He yelled, panting weakly.
He spread his wings and flew off awkwardly, not used to it since they had been hidden for such a long time/

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason growled as he raced forward at a speed imaginable.
He saw a building come up into his vision, his nostrils filling with June's strong scent.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June panted and wiped the blood from her face.
She had managed to down at least six of the ten thugs in the room but they got in some good punches and their shots managed to graze her a few times.
Over all it was going pretty good in her mind.
She just hoped that George wouldn't come back.
If he did..
She wouldn't be able to fight him in this state.
She held a hand up to pause an oncoming thug, who obliged confusedly.
She pulled up her shirt and winced, she had gotten a nice bullet shot through her side.
"Great. Now I'm gonna have another scar. Thanks a lot." She grumbled with a pout.
The thug almost looked sorry when she kicked him in the face.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
A loud wolf growl could be heard as screams echoed and gunshots were fired.
Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June glanced back mid punch, her heart soaring at that familiar growl, but that hesitation landed her a punch in the jaw that sent her back a few steps.
She grimaced and spit out blood, her other hand pressed against the wound on her side.
"Dammit. You guys just have to mess up my makeup and clothes just as my hubby arrives, don't you? I am not-" She paused to spit out some blood, "A happy camper."
James landed at the front of the warehouse and panted roughly then rolled his eyes at the screams and growls.
Great.
He'd have to find someone to clean this up, wouldn't he?
He sauntered in, careful to avoid the mangled bodies, and tried to find Jason, knowing he'd probably be out of control in rage right about now.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason burst into the room in his wolf form, growling. He took a place in front of June protectively, snarling and snapping his jaws at the man in front of him.
His white coat was splattered with blood, a mixture of his and many of his very recent victims.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June smiled and wobbled on her feet, blood pooling in her hand.
"Thanks for coming to get me babe, I was getting a little bored with this anyway.. Oh.. We're gonna have to bathe you when we get home.. You're a mess... I.. I seem to be a bit dizzy.. so the faster we can wrap this up.." She coughed for a second and spat out blood.
"The better." She ended, wiping her mouth with her free hand.
James flew in and took out a few guys, and stood to the side examining everything.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason's bright red eyes met hers and pure rage and bloodlust filled them as he lunged at the man.
He began to tear him to shreds.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June let out a little cry and staggered on her feet, the man's blood splattering her a bit.
"Jason.. Please... baby.. Take me home now.." She whimpered, her need to be strong gone.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Slowly, he stepped away and morphed into his human form, shirt gone but jeans luckily still in tact, just a bit ripped on th knees and calves.
"You okay?" he rasped out, turning to her. A large slice dragged from his shoulder to his hip in a diagonal laceration, blood profusely seeping out.
"Did I do a good job...protecting......you..?"
His voice faded and his eyes fluttered shut.
His body dropped to the ground.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June cried out in fear.
"James!" She screeched.
James swooped down and picked them up, June on his back and Jason in his arms, and grimaced.
He was going to be very sore tonight, but he knew he wouldn't regret it.
He pushed off from the ground and landed at the nearest hospital, the one June had flagged as 'runaway safe' meaning they didn't ask any questions.
The two were carted away and as soon as June had been patched up she sneaked over into Jason's room and curled into a little ball at his side.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason had an oxygen masked over his nose and mouth, his EKG recognizing his heart with weak and slow beats.
He had numerous IV's and tubes in his body.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June sat up after a moment, a bit of fear snatching her out of her sleep and she patted herself down, trying to make sure she was okay; one bullet hole, with an exit wound, a whole bunch of bruises and cuts, a black eye, a stab wound in her arm and was about it. She rubbed her eyes and stroked Jason's face tenderly.
He came for her.
He always did.
She curled back down to his side and grimaced at way her stitched pulled.
"Wake up already..." She murmured after kissing his cheek lightly.
James arrived home and rubbed his faces tiredly, making his way through the front door to June's office where Raela currently resided.
"Hey.. they're safe... I just finished cleaning up after...That.. I'm here.. yah.. I love you.." He grumbled along, exhaustion kicking in.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela sat frozen at the computer, eyes glued and lips parted. Real-time video footage was playing, doctors at the main Bioware lab were preparing an experiment.
On a little girl.
She couldn't see the face of her.
But she could hear her cries and screaming.
The words of Mommy and Save me were prodominant.
A doctor came in and looked up from her clipboard, seeing June and Jason.
"Miss, are you sure you should be moving about to your husband's bedside?"
Her eyes seemed worried and sympathetic for the southern man in a coma.
