James snatched her close and held her to his chest, kissing her and rocking back and forth.
"You had me so scared..." He murmured among the sweet things.

June nodded and cuddled up against him.
"Tell your friends how awesome I am in bed.. make them jealous.." She murmured before drifting off.

James held Raela's hand as the Doctors stitched her up, his mind busy and his face calm. He kissed her temple every once and a while out of habit.

June stretched out on her bed and smiled at the little note Jason left her.
There was a reason she loved him.

Raela sniffled, holding back tears.
Her thoughts were frantic.
Doctors...no...no doctors...doctors bad...very bad...knives...needles...scary...s-so scary...

Hey baby,
I noticed you were still asleep so I figured I leave this note
so you're not panicking whether the pink fluffy martians [^^' you
say weird stuff in your sleep but it's cute] got me or not. Pfft,
like they could. Anyways, going to pick up the boys and Ameila so
I'll be home soon. 'Kay? I'll call you if something happens.

Jason drove over to the daycare center, drumming his fingertips against the steering wheel.

James saw her familiar shaking and hugged her close, kissing her temple for the umpteenth time that night.
"I'm here." He reminded.

June laughed and pulled on some clothes and made her way to the local grocer, she had to get some food in the house or they were gonna have frozen peas for dinner and baby food.

"I know," she whispered, shaking in his embrace.

Jason pulled up into the parking lot, humming an old classic rock tune from the 70's.

June stood in line with all her groceries and hummed a tune happily.

Raela wrapped her arms around his shoulders, burying her face into his neck.

Jason got the boys into the car and put Ameila in her little seat before driving to Raela and James' place.

James carried her out to the car and smiled at her closeness.
Trying to keep that 'Kris' out of his head.
Who was he?

June left the store but before she could get to her car she was grabbed and a cloth was placed over her mouth. She struggled viciously, trying to throw her assailant but to no avail. She was stabbed with a needle quickly when they realized that she'd be hard to put out.
Darkness quickly snuck into her vision.
Last thing she saw was her groceries rolling away on the ground.

Raela sniffled then frowned.
"Do you hear that?"
She could hear faint thoughts and faint struggling.

Jason drove to Raela's and knocked on the door, frowning when they weren't there. So he called their cell phones.
No answer.
he frowned at this. So, he called his wife.
He was starting to panic when she didn't answer.

James shook his head, confused, and pulled out of his thoughts.

June woke up quickly in the back of a car and took everything, her instinctual training habits kicking in.
Her hands were tied as well as her feet and her mouth was duct taped shut. Not so bad.
Shit.
There was a gun pointed at her head.

Raela frowned and squirmed out of his holf and ran to the sound. She ended up finding a wallet with groceries near a car. She picked up the wallet and opened it.
She gasped.
"June..."

Jason bit his lip and drove home with the boys and his daughter, deciding to wait and calm down a little.

James ran after her, eyes wide and pulled out his cell and immediately began to call Jason.

June forced herself into make weak whimpers as well as fake sobs.
Make them think she was weak.

"Oh..Jason.. I'm sorry.. We think June was taken.. her stuff... her wallet and keys.. Raela found them.. Man.. I.." He paused and grit his jaw, "We're gonna find her."

Jason's eyes widened and filled with tears.
His breathing grew shakey.
"D-Do you think th-they hurt her?" he whispered, holding back his sobs.

He turned around and looked at the boys and his sleeping daughter.

June grimaced as the picked her up roughly and carried her into a warehouse place. She still had a gun planted near her and the duct tape was harder to get off than rope.
Harder but not impossible.

"Just get over here," he whispered hoarsely.
He hung up and began to take the boys inside as he held Ameila. She was a spitting image of her mother which made him feel at least a little bit more comforted. Of course she had his eyes and that was just a reminder that he needed to be there for his daughter, that he needed to get it together no matter what happened.

James and Raela picked up the scattered belongings and got back into their car, driving quickly to James' place and knocking on the door.
Once in James handed him the items and watched him carefully, then wen to his boys.
