Raela picked up the crying baby, shushing her and rocking her.
She picked up her phone and dialed his number.

Jason chuckled and kissed her softly.
"You're beautiful."

James picked up his cell quickly.
"Hello, James speaking.. How can I help you?" He responded tiredly. He ran a hand over his face and sighed.
He needed to hear his wife's voice.

June smiled and kissed him back.
"Good." She joked.

Raela smiled sleepily. "Hey, honey. How's work?" Her voice was soft as she cooed, rocking the girl in her arms.

He grinned and nuzzled her.
"Come on. Bed time," he yawned.
He needed to save his energy.
The change was tomorrow night.

James smiled softly, "Never as good as being with you.. are the boys and Taylor at school? Last time I checked in you were gonna take a nap.. I'm sorry for being away so often babe..."

June sighed and stood, cracking her spine and walking after him.
"Fine.. I'm not tired though.."

"Yeah, they're at school. It's just me and Angel. She misses you," she spoke.
As if to prove this, Raela began to talk in that cute voice of hers, causing the baby to giggle and laugh but once she stopped her distraction, the baby reached for the phone and started to whine.

Jason yawned as he placed Ameila in her crib before holding June close with a sad presence about him.
"Baby? Am I a good father?"

James laughed quietly and clutched the phone tenderly, murmuring back into it softly. His colleagues began to enter, to his annoyance.
"Okay Angel... I love you, daddy loves you.. Ray? Yeah, sweetie, I have to go. The boys are back.. Love you, so much.." He murmured before closing his cell.

June frowned. "What would make you ever thing differently?"
Sure, she teased him once in a while but he knew it was all fun and games... right?

"I just...I don't want to end up like my dad..," he whispered.
It was still new to him to have his father in his life again.

Raela felt tears in her eyes as he hung up. She didn't get to say goodbye or I love you back to him.
She sniffled and shakily set the phone down. And then she feigned a smile to the baby in her arms.
"It's going to be okay, sweetie."

June brought a hand up to his face.
"Children do not become their parents, they know better." She murmured softly.

James ran a hand through his hair and sighed, back to work.
When he was done he was gonna bring her flowers.
Flowers and chocolates.
Flowers, chocolates, and a movie.

Jason nodded but her soft words didn't ease his heart.

Raela placed the sleeping baby in her crib before walking to their room. She curled up on the bed and hugged the pillow on James' side tightly to her. She buried her face into it, letting herself cry.

James pulled into the drive way and slowly made it up the stairs. He had teddy bears, flowers, chocolate, a few movies and a necklace.
He might have gotten a little carried away.
He just felt so bad.
He opened the door, careful not to drop anything.
"I'm home..." He called experimentally.

June held one crying baby and grimaced as the other one started to cry.
Great.
At this rate the twins would wake Ameila too.
"Jason." She called in a desperate whisper yell.

Jason got up and quickly grabbed Aristotle, rocking him and shushing him.

Raela was curled up against his pillow, eyes squeezed shut as she slept with tears still trickling down.

June grabbed her warm bottle of milk from the counter and began to feed the crying Sophie.
"I was thinking about duct taping their mouths shut.. does that make me a bad mom, a psychopath or sleep deprived?" She asked.

James entered the quiet house and heard that familiar sound of crying. He hurried to his bedroom to see the distraught Raela.
He dropped his presents on the floor.
"I'm home, Love..."

Raela cried out and woke with a start, sitting up quickly to the sound of something dropping.
Her skin was slick with sweat and her eyes were wide and frenzied. The pillow with his scent was in her death grip, pressed tightly against her chest.

Jason smiled a bit. "Sleep deprived," he murmured softly.

James' face held a worried expression, his hands hung limp and empty at his sides.
"Love?"

June nodded curtly but muttered to herself about actually being a psychopathic genetically engineered weapon. It was fun to be a little crazy.

Raela sniffled and shakily feigned a smile.

"I bought you and the kids a few things to say sorry..." He said back quietly, matching her fake smile.
Was she okay?

June rubbed her forehead and swore in Russian.
"I had a meeting yesterday! I forgot until now!... That's why I had like four messages... oh..." She swore some more.

Raela sniffled and raced off the bed with the pillow in her arms before tossing it to the side and hugging him tightly. "I missed you."

James hugged her tightly to his chest and kissed her hair, caressing her face.

"With pleasure... with great.. deep... desperate.. pleasure.." He whispered between kisses.
He let his hands run up her shoulders as he kissed her neck, letting one rest on the back of her neck so she could lean her head back. His lips brushed along her throat and the hand that didn't cradle her precious head stroked her cheek sweetly, tenderly.
His only love.
Her.
His most precious love.

Her hands ran up his stomach, continued to his shoulders where she gripped his shirt.

James nuzzled her face with his cheek as he slowly backed her up to the bed, his hands slowly caressing down to the small of her back. His searching lips met hers and he kissed her sweetly, eyes closed and breathing slow.
Soft music played in the room.
How it turned on?
Perhaps magic.
But it was a soft, desperate song that fueled him into pushing her down on the bed. Each kiss was gentle and soft as he continued his praise of her body, his lips crying out in silent prayers as they cherished her body.
