Scotia: I frowned. "Never mind. Can you just drop me off near one of the cities or something?" i asked wearily.

Val: "Ah...do you have money?" I asked. How else would she get medical supplies?

Scotia: "I should still have some...so yes." I nod.

Angel: I sat silently. My thoughts full of the upcoming job.

Val: "Sure, we can make a stop," I said. If she got us kill, I'd bring her back to life then kill her again.

Val: I put my feet on the counsel and twiddled my thumbs. There was a soft beeping. I looked up and saw I had an incoming wave.
"What?" I asked as a smacked the button. Sean's face appeared on the screen. I sighed. What now?
"Val," he said.
"That's my name." Sean rolled his eyes.
"We need to get the security passes for Seferton's place." Seferton was the owner of the Eliminator. He could swim in the money he has. "The man who has a copy has put up shop on Osiris."
"Huh. And you expect me to go out of my way to get them?" I asked.
"Yes," Sean replied. "He's made a name for himself--Jonathan Arton. There's a fancy ball going down in a weeks time on Osiris. He'll be there."
"And you expect me to be there too," I snapped, leaning over the screen.
"Yes," Sean said again. I cocked my head.
"Really?"
"Yes, Val. I have a man on Osiris. He'll contact you when you touch down and set you up with the invitations to the ball." I frowned. This actually might work out. Scotia wanted some med supplies which she could get on Osiris and Angel and I could hit the dance floor to find this Joe Schmo.
I sighed dramatically. "Alright Sean."
"I have two invitations. One for you and one for the charming one."
"Angel."
"Angel. You'll have to wear a dress."
"What!" I jumped out of my chair and slammed my fists down next to the screen. "Are you kidding me?" Sean was laughing.
"Val, you grew up on Ariel, you know how it is. At a ball a girl's got to wear a dress."
"Whatever. Just get me the invites," I snapped. I turned off the intercom. Great. I'd just shove Angel into a dress and pretend to be her male escort. Or wear a dress. Damn, we needed money to buy Angel a dress.
Could my life get any worse?

Val: I stomped off in search of Scotia. She was a high born; she might have a dress. One that I could shanghigh her into giving me. Or just scare her within an inch of her life. Or ask her politely.
I wasn't sure how this would work; at balls like this one a woman was expected to have a male escort, but the males on this ship weren't exactly the escort type. But what was I supposed to do? Go get a companion? Maybe. Maybe get Angel to go with one of the male passengers on board and I could get a companion. Yeah, like I had the money. Or I had could be her escort.
I'd just hunt down Scotia first.
"Scotia!"

Scotia: I look up from my reading my book at the sound of my name. I set the book down and open my door to Val. "Um, yes? Do you need medical attention..." I look her over quick, see if there's anything serious. don't see anything..

Val: "What? Do you think I get into fights all the time?" I asked. I cast a furtive glance around. "You got a dress?" I asked. I'd leave the shanghighing and intimidating for later.

Scotia: "A dress...? For what?" i look back up to her face. She looks slightly embarrassed for a split second before it's gone. "What's the occasion?" I turn around and head over to my suitcase. I'm sure I had something.

Val: I walked into her room and flopped down onto her bed. "I'm going to a ball," I said in the most elegant voice I could muster. It wasn't very elegant considering the fact that I had spent the pass four years stamping all traces of elegance out of myself.

Scotia: "A ball..on Osiris. Hmm.." I threw a blood red dress to the floor and scrounged for the black and white one. the one that had a sort of Zen thing going for it. "Halter top, not poofy," I hold it up and look between it and Val.
"Try this on." I drop it next to her on the bed. "It might feel a little small. it's supposed to." I start folding the red one back up.

Val: I looked at the dress like it might bite. I pulled off my leather attire and quickly yanked on the dress. No need to flaunt my multiple battle scars. I looked down at myself. "No way in Hell and I going out in this."

((val is just against dresses in general she probably looks dec in it but she hates dresses..)))

Scotia: I look up from on the ground and smile. "You look great Val, really. It suits your body type." I say thoughtfully. I could've been one of those tailors or something. "You'll blend in and won't attract....i mean, maybe you will." I shrug like it's nothing. "Trust me."
