Malachi [the hot companion of the ship now ] joined and has had to deal with the humiliation of Val telling Scotia what a companion does. he likes Scotia a bit and is hiding out in his little space ship of his ^^ um...anything else? o.o

Angel: I laughed quietly. Malachi was making both Val and Scotia very uncomfortable. I propped my feet up on the table (I'll assume we're in the kitchen) I had to meet this guy. After several minutes of listening to Val I stood and went to knock on Malachi's door.

Malachi: I jump. Please not be Val or Scotia... I suck in a deep breath.
"Aren't you done torturing me, Val?" I shout through the door. but i'm surprised when i open it to someone else.
"Oh. sorry, i was...yeah.." I scratch the back of my head, embarrassed.

Angel: "I wouldn't say she was tortuing you. May I come in?" I asked standing in the doorway. He looked so relieved it was almost laughable.

Malachi: I nod, "Sure, sure," I let out a breath i didn't know i'd been holding. I plop down on the soft spinny chair that sits in the corner. "So what brings you here?" i raise an eyebrow.

Angel: "I work here," I sat on a squishy sofa. "What brings you way out here?"

((yup. this happened while you were away, but lily and i agreed when you came back that we'd do it again so here goes))
Val: I put my feet on the counsel and twiddled my thumbs. There was a soft beeping. I looked up and saw I had an incoming wave.
"What?" I asked as a smacked the button. Sean's face appeared on the screen. I sighed. What now?
"Val," he said.
"That's my name." Sean rolled his eyes.
"We need to get the security passes for Seferton's place." Seferton was the owner of the Eliminator. He could swim in the money he has. "The man who has a copy has put up shop on Osiris."
"Huh. And you expect me to go out of my way to get them?" I asked.
"Yes," Sean replied. "He's made a name for himself--Jonathan Arton. There's a fancy ball going down in a weeks time on Osiris. He'll be there."
"And you expect me to be there too," I snapped, leaning over the screen.
"Yes," Sean said again. I cocked my head.
"Really?"
"Yes, Val. I have a man on Osiris. He'll contact you when you touch down and set you up with the invitations to the ball." I frowned. This actually might work out. Scotia wanted some med supplies which she could get on Osiris and Angel and I could hit the dance floor to find this Joe Schmo.
I sighed dramatically. "Alright Sean."
"I have two invitations. One for you and one for the charming one."
"Angel."
"Angel. You'll have to wear a dress."
"What!" I jumped out of my chair and slammed my fists down next to the screen. "Are you kidding me?" Sean was laughing.
"Val, you grew up on Ariel, you know how it is. At a ball a girl's got to wear a dress."
"Whatever. Just get me the invites," I snapped. Sean laughed. I glared. "We need escorts, too." Sean nodded. "I don't suppose you'll got off your ass and come be an escort."
"Val, I'm ten leagues away. By the time I get there the ball will be over." I raised my eyebrows. Sean put up his hands.
"I'll see what I can do."
I turned off the intercom. Great. I'd just shove Angel into a dress and find one for myself. If Sean decided that stealing this gun was important, he'd get his ass over here and be my escort. That left only the matter of money for dresses and an escort for Angel. Malachi had paid me a ton of money so he could get on. I'd use that to buy a gorgeous dress for Angel. And maybe make Malachi be Angel's escort. No, she was an eighteen year old girl. I wouldn't make her go with that whore. I'd go with Malachi and Angel could spend some quality time with Sean if he showed up.
I jumped to my feet and went in search of Angel.
"Angel!" I called. I heard voices in the shuttle and went there. "There you are Angel. I have to talk to you about the heist." I glanced at Malachi.

Angel: "Yes?" I asked. Information about the heist? I wondered what it could be.

[Kate-Anders(unnie)]

Val: I flopped down on the couch and put my feet on the table. I got a look from Malachi, but ignored him. "Sean has found the man who has a copy of the pass keys that will give us access to the building we need to get into. The man's going to be at a ball on Osiris. Sean's got us invites. So, dust off your ball gowns 'cause we're going to a dance."

ah, i have to go for a run if i go now, i'll get back before i go to the LOTR marathon i'm doing with my friends. my run usually takes about thirty minutes. i'll be extra fast so i can get back. soooo sorry. i hope you're on when i get back!!!!

Angel: "I may need a dress. I think my little black one isn't appropiate," I said slightly joking. Dresses weren't exactly a nesscesity anywhere I'd been. Except that one time when I need a slightly sluttly black one.

back!!! phew. my mom delayed me. she had gone walking and i bumped into her so we walked for a bit.

Val: I held up my hands in defeat. "You're asking the wrong person. I haven't worn a dress in five years. Never intended to wear one again," I said.

Angel: I smiled wryly, "I just need money to get my own," I replied. I knew what kind of dress to get, a big poofy one. It wasn't what I wanted, but it wasn't likely I'd find anything better that fit the setting.

Val: "Malachi was so very charitable." I grinned at him. Either he had been charitable, or I had intimidated him into giving me a boatload of money. I'd like to take the credit, but I was fairly certain that there had been a third incentive: the mob. Apparently he had gotten into trouble with some mobsters. Probably slept with one of their daughters. He had given me eight k. to ride with us.
I took out a wad of money and held it in front of Angel. "If you're a shopaholic tell me now," I said.

Angel: "Dress shopping won't be a problem," I replied taking the money. "Tell me when we land," I said leaving. I didn't want to go shopping, I hated it, but I had to. It was part of the job.

[Kate-Anders(unnie)]

Val: I sat there, twiddling my thumbs, and cast my eyes around. "I'm gonna go." I got up and followed Angel out of the shuttle. "We land in ten," I said. "I'll go with you."

Angel: I nodded and continued out the door. The money in my hand was more then my family used to make. Of course they had to keep most of the crops for food. Something felt wrong about it. That people would spend this money on a dress. Stupid really, they're were children starving who could use this money for food.

Val: I slid down the railing and landed on the floor of the cargo bay. Of course, I got saddled with the most un-chatty person on the boat. The ship flew down and landed gently on one of the hanger bays. I punched the red button to open the cargo bay doors. Valkyrie's engines powered off slowly and she sat still, humming quietly.
"Lets go," I said. I walked out onto the hanger. After I had shown my papers to the man on duty, I walked out of the hanger bay and onto the streets of Osiris.
