James held the twins carefully, is face creased with a frown of concern.

They were a yellow.
They held a confused look.
They held a darkness too.

Jason noticed this and closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, they revealed glowing amber eyes that matched her curiosity and darkness.
He held his gaze, hands firm on her shoulder.

June growled lightly, struggling in his grip, her brow furrowed.
She glanced around and the other people in the store were getting confused and worried. That caused June to snarl lightly.

June struggled harder, her teeth bared as people were ushered out. Her arms flailed about until the first crack was heard.
A scream followed.
No longer did she try to get away nicely, no, now she clawed and kicked, trying to break free from the pain that was slowly devouring her.

Jason quickly pulled her out of the wheelchair and held her close, arms locked around her. "I'm here, baby, I'm here."

June let out strangled out sobs.
Pain.
Confusion.
June kicked out and for a moment her eyes shifted back into their green.
"Jason.. what.." She started before screaming and shifting back.
Her body was in constant shift, like the frames in a movie, moving on and on and on. Bone snapping and moving.
Mind flickering.

June's shift into werewolf form was surprisingly quick, but that came at an excruciatingly painful price.
She howled in her new form, dazed and disoriented and very sore.

June barked lightly, sore and unsteady on her feet, what was going on? She grew limp after a moment and her body quickly reverted back into it's normal form.
She curled up and shivered.

He lifted her into his arms, shushing her and holding her close.

Raela peeled her eyes open to see the rising sun and to hear faint crying. With a small sigh, she got up and walked to Angel's nursery. "Shh...Baby girl, what's wrong..?" she asked her crying daughter.

Jason held June in his arms, unable to sleep. Ever since her change, he'd been unable to rest, his need to be there for her his primary instinct.

James groaned and rubbed his eyes, they had begun to itch after a while, the taxes had to be paid in a month and he hated trying to add everything up. He tilted his head, in curiosity, and grimaced as a little song of spinal cracks echoed down his back. Wonderful.
He stood, pushing the receipts aside and making his way to the nursery, the crying had caught his attention.
"Rae, baby, is it Angel?"

June snuggled closer, nuzzling the warm chest and kissing it absent mindedly. She slowly opened her eyes and frowned, her body's slight ache making her want to stay still.
"Ja...Jason.. What happened?" She groaned.
