James wrapped his arms around the two of them and then looked up. A doctor walked forward slowly with a stumbling Benji.
"Benji? It's daddy.." James murmured pulling the weak child into his arms.
What happened to them?

Raela began to sob in relief, hugging all three of them as much as she could.
"I'm so sorry...It's all my fault," she cried.
"Why awe you sowwy mommy?" Declan asked, sniffling.
"Mommy let you get hurt," she whimpered, holding the boy closer to her.
"Nuh-uh...That mean man huwt us..."

He looked up and utter a word of thanks to the doctor.

Raela then looked to Benji who looked like he could have collapsed right then and there.
This made her sob louder.
It was her fault.
She should have just followed the plan...
Killed her father without hesitation before he could plunge that substance into her son.

June rubbed her pounding head and closed her eyes.
She needed Jason right about now.

James flicked Raela softly.
"No. Be grateful for now." He murmured to her in a way that reminded him of a chastising mother.
He nuzzled his boy and smiled.
They were safe now.

When he flicked her, she flinched and memories rushed into her head. She released Declan and cowered into a corner, sobbing and hugging herself.

"June?" Jason asked, approaching her.

James grimaced.

He hugged his boys to his chest.
"It's okay, Mommy is just having another nightmare.." He murmured. He made frantic eyes to Kayla to help him.

June looked up and offered him a tired smile.

Raela flinched, hearing his thoughts and began to sob. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry!" she pleaded, knowing deep in her already broken heart that this was all her fault.
Unknowingly, her thoughts ran into his head.
It's my fault, all my fault...
He hates me now...
He blames me...
I'm sorry...
I should have died...
I would have saved everyone the pain...

Jason smiled, exhausted, and sat down beside her, careful of his shoulder.
"Hey," he whispered.

James grimaced, it was his fault she had gone into another episode.
He closed his eyes and forced his tired brain to focus on happy memories and how things were great. He knew she focused on his thoughts, it wouldn't be long until she would drift back to his mind.
Happy thoughts.
It was his fault again.
He was always too indelicate.

June brought a hand to his lap and rested it on his.
"I think I'm going to take a very long nap when we get back."

Jason took her hand with a small sigh and nodded in agreement.
"A long nap and a warm shower," he murmured.

Raela clasped her hands over her ears, sobbing.
She then brought her hand close to her wrist, pressing against her chest as she began to scratch roughly.
...They'd be better off without me...

"I'll share that shower.." She said with a low chuckle.

James pushed the boys into Kayla's shocked care.
He grabbed Raela and separated her hands, taking them in his own. He had her in his lap and hugged her to his chest, her hands clutched in his own to stop her from hurting herself.
"Rae.. it's all okay.. I'm here.. I love you.. it's okay."

Raela curled into him, weeping and feeling worthless.
Don't hate me...Please...If you don't love me anymore then pretend so it doesn't hurt as much!

He snickered a little and pressed a kiss to her temple.

James shook his head.
"Never.. I would never pretend.. it's impossible to stop loving you." He murmured.

June smiled.
"I think we'll be fine if we go on home.. I can almost hear the bed calling my name and my pillow crying for my head... damn, sleep makes me poetic." she snorted.

She tried to fight his hands, desperate to scratch and bleed.

June stood, though a bit wobbly on her feet and lead him to the elevator. She was so tired.

Even with all her struggle James had little to no trouble holding her back even in his weakened state. He was a big guy and she a small woman, a big advantage to him.

He then picked her up gently, noticing how wobbly she was.

His fault again, he had to be careful around her, he was just lumbering oaf in a china shop.
"No.. no... it's okay, I'm here to protect you.." He murmured.

June smiled. "Thanks.... don't push yourself."

Raela pressed against the wall and sobbed, scratching her wrist roughly until she drew blood.
But she didn't stop.

Jason smirked at this, scoffing and chuckling.
"When do I do that?" he asked, Okie twang smooth.

James grabbed her back and shouted for some doctors, her held her to his chest, albeit a bit roughly but his choices were slim at the moment. He kept whispering sweet nothings but he held her so she couldn't hurt herself.
"I need you." He whispered fervently.

June let out a bark of a laugh.
"Oh you know... when you shouldn't....."

"Never. Not while I'm still breathing." He murmured.
The Nurses moved in silently and gently began to bandage Raela's wrists, James held her throughout the ordeal, still murmuring and offering little kisses here and there.

June nuzzled his throat and smiled as they got to the car.
"I'll text them that we're going home." She said.
"They'll not dare bother us."

"I think they won't wanna be bothered," he murmured. "I couldn't imagine having my kids disappear," he let out a sigh. "I don't think I could handle it if that happened."

Raela whimpered and kissed him back with the little kisses he gave her, murmuring apologies.

June put a hand on her stomach and glanced off for a second then back.
"I wouldn't let that happen ever."

James shook his head.
"Don't be sorry..." He murmured.
He stood with her in her arms and looked to Kayla for help.
"Let's head home."

Jason looked at her then to her hand on her stomach and furrowed his brow for a moment. "June..? Is there something you need to tell me..?" he asked softly.

Kayla nodded and picked up Benji while Declan held onto her hand.
"Come on. It's time to go home."
