June closed her eyes and tried to breathe.
She got up and followed Raela and sat next to her, her face blank.
She grabbed the cigarette from her and ground the end onto the porch, extinguishing it.
"These can kill you, you know? Raela... please understand.. I know you don't like me.. it's cause we're different.. I tend to push things away... as far as possible.. and you tend to hold them close.. You don't know enough about me to say things like that but I understand why you did and I don't expect an apology. Not many people know much about me.. not even Jason... I'm gonna let you in on a little secret.. I know what you're going through.. all too well, I mean you probably went through a lot more than I, I wasn't that remarkable, but we're similar in situation.. I just chose not to let whats in the past effect me... I let myself choose what will happen.. If I am going to rescue your boys properly you must promise not to tell Jason how I know so much about that particular department nor that little bit of my past that I just told you.. We all have secrets Raela... some of us prefer to keep them that way." She murmured.
She stood and snatched the cigarette box from her and stared at them for a moment.
"These kill people...but they can bring the dead back to the living in the form of memories... funny.."
She walked away, texting Jason that she had to deal with some matters regarding the bookshop.

Raela snatched the cigarettes back and lit another. She blew the smoke out, not caring if James saw her with the cigarette.

Jason looked at the text with a frown but replied with only a few words. Okay, be safe. I love you.

June wiped her face, she didn't remember it starting to rain.

June crouched in the parking lot, her thighs complaining at the stillness she forced them into. She crawled slowly forward, they had added a bit more security than last time but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle.
She had Raela and James and Kayla creating a distraction in the lobby as she got the boys out and home. She knew that she was the only one who could get them quick enough, her last few missions had taught her that only the trained can follow plans exactly to the dot unless situation proves otherwise, distractions were on the spot creations and thus easier for the less equipped.
She nodded to them to enter the building.

[Cali]

Raela nodded and looked at James. However, she hated this.
Creating a distraction?
Waiting for the right moment?

James looked at her, knowing her thoughts.
"For our boys." He said firmly.
He put an arm around her and they entered the building.

June waited.

[Cali]

Short after they entered the building, Raela froze, hearing twO loud screams.
Everyone seemed unfazed by it.
"No.., No!" she cried and took off running
Fuck the plan.
Her boys.
Her boys...

June ran in, her face was one of rage, she motioned to Kayla and James to continue with the plan.
She sprinted off after her.
June was so close to just knocking her out.
She knew that Raela wouldn't be able to control herself.
June easily caught up and matched her speed, trying her best to get Raela's attention.

Tears streaked down Raela's features as the screams died down. She ran to where they were and busted the door open before freezing in place. "D-Dad..?"
Her father leaned over her boys, a syringe in his hand.

June froze and brought out her gun.
"Hands up or I'll shoot. Raela.. this is too dangerous. Get out." She said gruffly, trying not to snarl.

[Cali]

"Daddy.., don't do this," she whispered softly, eyes wide.
The man looked to her with shock. "Raela..."
She nodded and easily faked a smile to him. "Please.., just let my sons go..."
He shook his head, plunging whatever fluid was in the syringe into Benji. "No!" she screamed and ran at him, quickly tackling him and snapping his neck. She didn't have time to mope and cry about her father.
"Benji?!" she yelled, running to the boy's side. She undid the fastening's, sobbing.
"James!!" she screamed out for her husband.

James was struggling with the security guards who had started to flood out. He heard his wife's scream but could only back out, punching and fighting alongside Jason.

June hefted her up to her feet and grabbed the other boy, holding him to her chest tightly.
"We have no time for this. We have to go." She said, her voice stern, as if scolding her.
There was no time for emotion right now.

[Cali]

Raela lifted the unconscious boy into her arms, crying quietly.
She followed June's instructions, praying that her boys were going to be okay.

June stuck her head out the door and glanced around, one hand holding the boy the other holding her gun.
She proceeded to creep out, still no sign of guards, they must all be in the lobby.
"You follow me. You do not deviate, you do not as much as fu- fricking move without my say so- Got it?" She whispered furiously to Raela.
With a dull nod in return June set off, running and stopping, looking and creeping.
Each step bringing them closer to freedom.
They finally made it to the back door and June got them out and sprinted into the bushes.
Then it was their turn to wait.

James got back into the truck, the guards having locked him and the others out. He grimaced, he could only hope they were in the correct spot... and that they were out safe.

Raela was sobbing quietly, hanging onto their unconscious son.
"They should have been here by now..," she whispered, turning her truly scared gaze to June. She looked like she did almost five years ago; alone and broken.

Jason held his bleeding bicep while Kayla pressed a hand against her bleeding head. She'd have a concussion later.

June's gaze was hard and focused. She had no time for the woman's tears, she understood the reason she just didn't have the time for them. She glanced up and grinned a bit at the headlights making their way towards them.
"Stop worrying they're here." She said sternly.

James pulled up to the meeting spot and parked.
Were they there?
"You guys okay back there?" He questioned.

[Cali]

Raela looked up at the sound of her husband's voice, letting out a weary gasp. "James!" she called and rushed out, Benji limp in her arms just as Declan began to stir.

James looked up and smiled, there they were. Safe.
But that was when June kicked him to the back seat with Benji thrust into his arms.
"We have to go. Hold onto your hats." She snarled and they set off, she driving at a highly illegal speed.

[Cali]

Raela was desperately trying to wake Benji up, sobbing.
"Oh god...June! He's not breathing!" she screamed, shaking.
Declan cowered close to Jason who held him close.

(btw I am leaving for a week long trip.. starting tomorrow.)
June sped up, going as fast as she could to the nearest hospital.
"Check his airways then start CPR... you know how right?" She asked, checking in her back mirror.
Her nerves twitched and she offered a look to Jason, one that held a few insecurities. a look she would only show him.

James sat back, stunned and most likely in shock.
He was pale, shaking and cold to the touch.
Shit.

Raela cried as she performed CPR, doing everything she could, begging,him to wake up.

Jason's eyes were wide as he held a scared Declan.

June slid the car into the ER parking lot and got out, her face turned into one of fear and tears.
"Please help! He wandered off for a minute and... we... we found him like this!" She cried.
The Paramedics swarmed the car and pulled Benji out, having barely enough time to assess the damage done on the rest of them. The boy was rushed away and June immediately started texting on her phone.
"Yo.. it's me.. we have a situation... yup, a boy this time..well.. we're all pretty banged up... Yeah, make it dissapear... we were never here... Thanks.. call ya later.."

[Cali]

Raela collapsed to her knees, sobbing and shaking. "Benji..!" she cried, fear in her veins.

June pulled her up and leaned her against the car, after pulling everyone else out of the car, as they all seemed to be numb and frozen, she got herself under Raela's arm.
"Follow me." She ordered gruffly as she began to pull Raela inside and to a private elevator.
Once the door opened, from a swipe of a special key card that she had produced from one of her many pockets, she pushed them all inside.
"You stay by me. Got it?"

Raela followed, shaking.
"H-He wasn't b-breathing..."
