Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"On it," he smiled and began to start cooking her request.
Raela began to cry happily, her hand gripping his.

James grinned and hugged her tight as the Doctor began to clean things up.
"Our first girl together... the kids'll have a baby sister..." He whispered to her happily.
June grinned.
"There's a reason why I love you...." She laughed.

Raela laughed out in happiness, pressing kisses to his lips as tears trickled down.
Jason laughed at this as he cooked, humming and grinning.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
(It's okay)
-Three Months Later-
Raela peeled her eyes open slowly, wincing as the rising sun's light poured into her and James' bedroom. She drew the covers up higher, shivering. It was late November and it was cold.
Jason kept his arms around June as he watched the sunrise. He mostly did it to know that she was always safe with him nearby, and to know that she wasn't getting cold. His body heat helped with that.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James turned over in his sleep and pulled her close, nuzzling her ear and kissing her cheek before burying his face in her neck. She was a bit cold.
He was not okay with his woman being cold.
His body encircled hers as he shared his warmth with his wife.
Perfect.
It was a perfect morning.
Then the running of little feet and curious giggles interrupted his attempt to go back into sleep.
June's eyes opened out of instinct and she smiled at the warm arms around her.
"Good morning baby... Is Ameila up yet?.." She asked tiredly.
She slowly started the long process of trying to sit up, her belly and gravity holding her down.
She was about eight and a half months along now.
Raela about the same.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela sighed in his embrace and allowed herself a few more minutes of rest, eyes closing and lips parting peacefully.
Taylor, Declan, and Benji peeked into the room quietly, whispering to each other then smiled, seeing their mother and father in bed.
"Mommy's sleeping. Should we go back? You know how she gets when we wake her up," Benji whispered to their older sister.
"Maybe. What if Daddy's up?" she asked.
Jason smiled and pulled her down gently, keeping her against his chest. "I checked on her already. She's been diaper changed and bottle fed. She's back asleep," he murmured, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James laughed at their muttering and got up with a groan.
"Well.. He's up.... and.. HE'S GONNA TICKLE YOOOU!" He roared, running to them in a lopsided gait.
Their squeals and giggles echoed through the hall and he paused at the door to send Raela a wink.
"Good morning."
June smiled and snuggled back.

Raela looked over with a small sleepy smile and winked back.
"Good morning, love."
She carefully sat up before propping the pillows against the headboard.
She leaned against them, holding her nearly nine-month swollen stomach.
Jason pressed a soft kiss to her lips, holding her lightly.
"I love you too."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
After struggling with the crowd to get them dressed for school James came back into the room a plopped down on the bed, tired.
"They're ready... and I'll take them... I just gotta put on some pants..." He explained, his voice muffled by the bed.
He sat up tiredly and rubbed his eyes, faint lines had appeared in the corners but they worked for him in a sexy wise smiley guy kind of way. He grudgingly put on his pants and kissed Raela on the cheek before going to the door, keys in hand.
"Call me for anything... if you're bored or the baby is moving or you're hungry.. I'll be back in a few.. prolly with a croissant or something.. Love ya!"
June's eyes widened as she felt little kicks in her belly. She grabbed Jason's hand and place it on her tummy with a smile.
"You helped me make this thing.."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
"I love you too," she smiled before pulling out a book. She softly read outloud, smiling at the familiar kick of the baby growing inside her. She spoke quietly to the baby girl, waiting for her husband to get back.
Jason grinned and nuzzled her as she placed his hand over her stomach in time to feel the kick of their second child.
"You make me so happy," he whispered.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James smiled as he shuffled the kids into the car and ran a hand through his bed head quickly before starting the engine.
It was nice that he could go to work later than six am like he had to a few years ago. He was glad he had worked his way up.
Sometimes he thought back to when he and Raela reunited and were in the abandoned house together.
When he said he'd like to own a bakery.
How things have changed.
June laughed, "Good, that means I'm following my contract."
She gave him a playful push and grimaced.
"I can't go back to sleep, babe.... I'm awake..."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela put the book down and placed her hands on her belly, stroking it gently as she hummed.
Her eyes shut and she leaned back into the pillows, her body relaxing.
She grew worried every time James left, whether it be for a few minutes or for a couple hours of work. What if something happened to her or the baby while he was gone? What if she went into premature labor or began to bleed once again?
She had been bleeding for most of her pregnancy, something the doctors called Placenta Previa. She had only been home for a weeks now on bed-rest after being in the hospital for two months. Her bleeds had been so bad that she fainted and needed a severe blood transfusion.
Jason grinned and placed a soft kiss to her lips once again.
His hand lowered onto her tummy again, his kisses trailing to her forehead lovingly.
"Are you hungry? I know its a bit early for you to want something to ear but if you need anything I'm more than happy to get you something," he spoke, nuzzling her hair.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James checked his phone once the kids left the car and felt a bit relieved and worried that she hadn't called. Either way he hurried back.
June nodded.
"I'd love.. some... ham.. that would be awesome... Babe.. I love you you..."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason smiled and kissed her cheek.
"I love you too. Always and forever."
He then got up, squeezed her hand, and left the room to make his pregnant wife something to eat.
Raela sighed softly and slowly got out of bed, careful and cautious of her movements.
She kept a hand on her stomach as she went to the bathroom, her bladder full.
A few minutes later, she flushed the toilet and washed her hands before walking out with a small yawn, waddling to the kitchen as she hummed a song.
She went to go make some tea then remembered that they had rearranged a lot of things to make room for the newborn products. She pulled up the small stepping-stool and went up the three steps, reaching up. Her tongue stuck out a bit as her fingers grazed against the teabox.
She hung on to the edge of the counter as she reached up, that way she could be stable.
But she still couldn't reach it.
She went up one more step, carefully, and grabbed the box of tea with a content sigh and smile.
However, as she went to go step down, she slipped and hit her head on the counter.
She fell unconscious.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June smiled but after he left she felt a little tug on her conscious. Something wasn't right. She could feel it.
Immediately her hands went to her belly, but in a flash she knew that her baby was fine. Then she grabbed her cell and began punching in the number's for Raela's house.
Nothing.
She called again.
Nothing.
Rae had been ordered to stay home.
She always picked up the phone.
She tried it again.
Then she called James.
James had just made it home, a smile on his face. He opened the door but when he didn't get an answer to his, 'Honey, I'm home!' his smile quickly dropped.
His phone started to ring and he searched the house frantically.
Then he found her.
He dropped to her side and carefully caressed her.
No response.
Blood.
He started to dial 9-1-1.
They were there pretty fast, pregnant women and children usually got those responses, and in moments they were in the ambulance on ride to the hospital. James held her hand and talked to her currently unconscious body.
Panic.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason walked in on the sound of her frantic conversation with James, a frown on his face.
"Baby? What's wrong?"
Raela's hand laid still and limp around his, her eyes closed and her temple bleeding profusely as one of the EMT's lifted one eyelid up. Her pupils were dilated but empty.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June looked at Jason with a scared face.
"It's Raela! She fell of a ladder!...Oh...god..." June crunched over clutching her stomach.
She was very pregnant.
The excitement may have been too much.
Her water broke all the same.
James kissed her hand and held it to his chest.
"The baby... my wife... oh god..."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Jason cursed loudly, "Shit. Okay, just breathe," he murmured and began to help her sit up. "I'm going to be right back okay? Will you be fine for a minute? I have to get Ameila," he spoke in a rush.
The EMT looked to James with a firm look.
"Sir, how far along is your wife? And is there any way you can wake her up? If she has a concussion it can be crucial."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June nodded and put her hands on her belly and stood.
Things always seemed to spiral out of control all at the same time.
"Perfect. Now I'll have to come up for a name for you on the spot..." She grumbled to her belly.
James' brow furrowed.
"About nine months right about now.. I don't know..I can try...Baby.. wake up, please for me... The boys and Taylor need you to wake up now... babe?" He cooed, stroking her face gently.
He softly grasped her shoulder.
"Please.."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Once Ameila was in the carrier, Jason was helping June out of the house and into the car.
Raela's heart skipped a beat on the EKG at the sound of his voice.
Her eyes slowly peeled open.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
June had a bit of trouble fitting into the car but once she got in and they were driving she was trying to hold back her shouts to spare Ameila.
"Get.ME.THERE.AND.GET.THIS.THING.OUT.OF.ME!" She grunted through her contractions.
James smiled and laughed out of relief as she opened her eyes.
"That's it babe.. thankyou...."

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela's head weakly turned towards him as her eyelids fluttered.
"James..? James...I'm so sorry," she whimpered.
"I only wanted some tea..." She felt tears in her eyes.
"Only way I can get there fast enough is if I cut through the opposite traffic and that is putting our lives at risk."
He usually drove with both hands on the wheel but this time, he took her hand tightly and drove with only one.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
James shook his head.
"It's not your fault.. no.. it's fine.. Just an accident.. hold on here for me.." He pleaded.
June nodded, calming down, her contraction over.
"I'll be fine babe.. I just hate child birth." She replied.

Re: Sticking Together (Part 2.) Kaiityy&Bookie
Raela felt her breaths weakening as her vision blurred.
"Just make sure...that our baby...is safe..," she whispered before her eyes shut.
Her heart didn't stop but it slowed a bit as she fell into a coma-like state.
Jason nodded and held her hand tightly as the hospital approached.

James' eyes grew wide with panic.
"Baby! No.... Wake up.. oh.. please... wake up..." he pleaded, tears falling as he pressed her hand to his face tenderly.
Pain sawed through his chest as he forced the despair down, pressure in his chest causing a pounding in his head.
June began to yell again, clutching her stomach, childbirth was a bitch.
(I was stupid today... I should totally be more careful when it comes to exacto knives.. Sliced my finger when I was trying to cut some foam poster board. I need to remember to cut away from myself.. )
