She sobbed and nodded, shaking.

Jason got up from the couch and went to her.

James nodded and called the boys, they entered hesitantly.
"Mommy... Is mommy okay?" Declan asked while Benji hugged his brother's side.

June raised an eyebrow.
"Apparently my man is close when I need him." She said with a smile.
She went to him and frowned when her belly kept them a bit too far apart for her liking.

Jason smiled at this and brought her to the couch. He sat down first then gently brought her onto his lap so she could curl up and cuddle like she wanted to.
He knew what she wanted.
He knew what she needed.

Raela's sobbing never ceased as she went to try and go to her sons.
Pain stopped her movement, making her yell out and clutch her bandaged stomach.

June snuggled, her cheek brushing against his shirt as she smiled.
"You know me well..." She chuckled.
After a moment she let out a deep sigh.
"I'm going to go check on that monster, see if he's started to bleed out or not.. if so I'll try and fix him up a bit... if not.. well then I'll make it happen."

Their boys raced towards their mom and grabbed at her with frightened little hands.
"Mommy? Are you okay?... Don't cry Mommy..."
James rushed to her side and he stroked her cheek.
"Are you okay?"

"I patched him up for you," he murmured and tightened his hold gently on her. "I don't want you going down there to be honest. Not when you're pregnant with our daughter," he whispered, placing his chin on the top of her head.

Raela weakly pulled her boys into her arms, sobbing.
She was so afraid.
So damn afraid of losing them.
"Don't worry mommy...you won't loose us," she heard Declan whimper and give her a lopsided smile as he purposely said 'lose' wrong. She laughed a bit and hugged them tighter, despite all of the pain she was in.

June scoffed but still snuggled closer.
"I still want to make him cry... I dunno if it's the hormones or my training... perhaps a mix of both...but.. I just feel so damn angry... plus I can take a man, even when I'm pregnant, be a little harder, considering I'm like a fat blimp... Another thing.. You've been pretty spacey lately.. I mean, this is like the first time you've held me in a week... What's up with that?"

James sat and let Raela lean against him as she hugged their boys.
"He's right, you know.. Our boys are smart and strong, they're your boys..." He murmured with a smile, caressing Benji's cheek.

"I've just been busy with work," he murmured.
"Checking up on Sophie too," he sighed and nuzzled her. "I really don't mean to."

Benji sniffled and leaned into his parents, close to crying.
Raela noticed this and began to beg him not to cry. That was something she couldn't stand. She hated it when her boys cried. Especially when it was her fault.
She cried harder, shaking and sometimes spasming in pain.

June pouted, she needed attention, she was like a puppy in that way, she needed someone to play with her.
"I know you don't... just know that even though I'm never really alone I feel like it.. I don't like it.. I need cuddles.. you know how insatiable I am."

James hugged them all, refusing to cry.
"We're gonna get through this little speed bump." He murmured, nuzzling Raela.

He chuckled a bit and then kissed her softly before nuzzling her forehead and looking down at her stomach lovingly. He gently stroked the baby bump, a content look in his eyes.

Raela flinched a bit, continuing to sob.
Suddenly, she yelled out and clutched her stomach, doubling over and shaking.

June grinned, "I guess you like my parasite..."
"I'm growing it myself."

James frowned, releasing his hug and nudging the boys away gently.
"JUNE! I need your help!" He shouted.

June frowned and got off of Jason, grumpily and made her way to the bedroom
"What's wrong?"

Jason quickly followed to get the boys. "Come on. It's gonna be okay. You're mom is gonna be just fine."

Raela yelled out in agony, falling onto her back and arching. Blood soaked through her shirt and bandages, pain throbbing throughout her entire body.
And then she began to sputter up blood, rolling to her side and vomiting up that same crimson liquid.

June pulled out her med kit and took off Raela's bandages, muttering to herself.
"This isn't right... She was fine when I left her... he hadn't punctured any organs nor could he be the reason for her internal bleeding! He must have done something..." June quickly stabbed a needle filled with sedatives in Raela and put her in recovery position, moving quickly to stitch and bandage what she could see.
"James. You stay with your boys. Jason... I want you to make that man talk. Get him to tell us what he did. Be quick about it, I don't know how long she can stay like this or what will happen next if I don't get some damn information... I don't care how... just make it quick.. I love you." She ordered.

Jason nodded and handed the boys off to their father before quickly going down, growling.

Raela continued to bleed out, her skin pale and clammy as she coughed and sputtered up blood.

June swore and pulled out a bag of blood and stuck the IV needle into Raela's arm.
"A transfusion won't really work when she's like this... but there's not really much I can do.." She growled, applying pressure and searching for anything she could fix.
"HOLD THE FUCK ON DAMMIT..." she snarled at Raela.

[Cali]

She weakly turned her gaze to June.
Her eyes showed endless pain that she just wanted to end.

Screaming could be heard from beneath the basement along with growls and snarls.
From the living room, she could barely hear her boys crying.
And then her eyes just stared. And endless and lifeless gaze.

June yelled in anger.
"Don't you leave me... You're just being selfish! THE POINT OF LIVING IS THAT IT'S HELL... YOU HAVE TO GET THROUGH IT WITH A SMILE." She growled.

The boys escaped their father's embrace and ran in, sobbing.
"M-Mommy?" they whimpered.
She just laid there, eyes blank.

June punched the floor with surprising strength, the woman's heartbeat weak and fading.
"You know you're only hurting the ones around you more." She whispered.
James fell to his knees at the sight, blood pooling on the hardwood floor.
Eyes seemingly focusing on something beyond their reach.
"Rae.. Babe?" He whimpered.

[Cali]

The boys hesitantly made their way to their mother, sobbing.
"M-Mommy!?"

June shook her head, muttering to herself.
"I always loose them... I'm always too slow.. too stupid..." She spat out.

[Cali]

Jason ran in and knelt down beside June, quickly bringing her into an embrace.
He then looked to James.
"You saved her once before. That's the only way you can do it."

James moved forward, slowly, weakly and pressed his hands to her chest.
He opened his mouth and began to sing, his pain echoing in his voice as he begged for her to come back.
An angel's song.
The wings weren't only an accessory.

(GOSHSSSLYGOSHNESS... I SUCK AT POETRY... I have to write a stupid fricking love poem and I am raging cause I just fail at it... AIDSFH'QPIHERAG'PIA... Rage.)

Slowly, light glowed from beneath her shirt in the shape of a heart.
It was the scar he made in order to come back to her.
It had been transferred on to her.
They had a link.
A bond.
A soul merged together.

Jason watched with wide eyes, ushering the boys over.

(That's it.. I can totally do a dark poem or perhaps a funny one.. but love? I am pretty much the worst person ever to try write a poem about love... ugh.. I only have like 3 stanzas and it sucks...)

James touched his chest then hers, his voice breaking from his emotions.
He called her back.
He wasn't whole without her.

The blood leaking from Raela's body stopped and her body slowly began to grow warmer.
Her heart began to beat again.
Her breathing started.

James pulled her into his arms and hugged her tight, his voice muffled by the skin of her neck.
He pleaded.
