June stepped forward, her face blank but determined.
"Don't even bother arresting her, I did it. You should have seen what that man had done, I just lost it... I mean I was a little less pregnant at them time." She said with a shrug.
The police man did a double take and she held her hands out.
"I won't let a friend of mine get wrongly accused for what I've done to help her." She added.
The logic was clear.
She sent a look to Jason, she may be pregnant but she could still get out of a prison, plus she could play up the weak pregnant woman and get them to take her to one of those softie prisons.
All she would have to do is change the police records with a little hacking after she got out.
She also would have to teach the others on how to properly hide a murder.

"No. It was me," Raela whispered hoarsely.
"I snapped his neck after seeing what he had done to my son. He injected something that the doctors couldn't identify and I nearly lost Benji James Blue," she spoke. She then gave him a dirty look.
"You should be writing this down," she remarked. "I know how Detectives work. My father used to be one but shortly after my mother died, he just couldn't finish his work. I bet you I could do a better job than-"
"Shut up, 9183012," the man growled and smirked, bringing Raela's body close to his as he wrapped an arm around her waist and drew his gun.
"You..," she whispered tearfully, finally recognizing him. She instantly remembered at the feeling of his disgustingly present erection.
"Yup, my pet. Now, where is she?" he asked.
"She's gone. They killed-"
"Lie!" he yelled and slammed the butt of his gun into her stomach, making her cry out. "You're hiding her. I know you are. Tell me where she is."
"Whitewood Cemetery!" she yelled then screamed out in pain as he did this again before aiming his gun at her temple, smirking at the group.
"No sudden movements or I blow her brains out."
Jason pulled June behind him, growling before glancing at the boys and James.
"Now...Where's our daughter?"

James hid his boys behind him and glared at the man, his fingers twitching, he was very close to ripping the man's throat out.
He was touching his woman.
This man had abused his woman.
A deep growl rose in the back of his throat.

June pulled a gun out from her handbag and a knife from her cleavage.
"You unhand her. You have no idea who you're dealing with." June snarled, trying to move in front of Jason unsuccessfully.
She contemplated using her stomach to push him over but that would only create a bigger mess. Her maternal instincts were on fire and Raela was in her mind, or her instinct's mind, something she had to protect.
"Don't hurt her... YOU MOTHERFU-....YOU SON OF A BISCUIT!" She shouted.

James stroked his boy's hair, holding them close to his side so they couldn't see the scene.
He was torn, he had to protect his boys but his woman was in danger.
He stood, tense and snarling.

The man smirked and ran his hand up her body slowly before stopping, just underneath her breasts.
"You missed me. I know you did. Remember the fun we used to have?" he purred, gently biting the lobe of her ear and kissing the sensative spot on her neck. She gasped out and whimpered, her body disobeying her mind.
"No...No..," she sobbed softly.
A tear slid down her cheek as his nails lengthened into claws, digging deeply into her side without breaking the skin, just simply pushing it in. She cried out as the pain increased and the tears continued.
"We still have a score to settle. You took my woman from me," he spoke directly to James, his voice calm.
She struggled more, causing the nails to dig deeper, close to finally puncturing her skin. She yelled in pain as the tears kept falling. "Just run!" she yelled to him, her icy green eyes begging. "Just get Benji and Declan out of here. Get June and your baby to safety!" she screamed to James and Jason.
"Shut up!" he suddenly yelled, showing the first signs of annoyance. His nails pierced her skin, blood spurting out as she screamed. His other hand let go of her wrist before gripping her left breast painfully, smirking into her hair even though his eyes were locked with the orange haired man. Raela gasped and yelled, pain mixing with unwanted pleasure that shot up her spine.

James broke.
He couldn't watch this.
He crouched to his boys and brought them close to his face.
"Don't look okay, no matter what. Daddy wants you to run, as fast as you can, in zig zags to mrs. Banshine's house. Okay? Run.. Daddy has to save mommy.. when I say go." He whispered, making it seem like he was comforting them.
After thier nods he stood.
He looked to June who nodded in return.
June held her gun and aimed, it was up like before but now she had a shot.
She was gonna hit him where it hurt, the groin area, then perhaps his ankle so he'd fall before shooting.
She looked to Raela.
I am not fucking running and when I shoot I want you to duck. Got it? If you don't I will not be happy. You know what I'm like when I'm angry? Well it'll be worse. I am pregnant. It will be much worse.
She thought to her.
She counted down in her head.
James was tensed and he prepared to unleash his wings for the first time in about a year and a half, this was not going to be fun.
He would shield his boys then attack the man hurting his wife. Then he would torture that man, torture him for a very long time.

Raela closed her eyes tightly, whimpering and sobbing.
However, she had her mental walls put up, keeping her memories away from her mind-reading sons.
She just prayed that her husband and June would do something now.

Go.
June shot first at the man's family jewel getting a lovely scream and spurt of blood as she did so. Raela ducked like a good girl making just enough room for June. She shot a second bullet into the man's slightly raised gun hand, making him drop the gun.
Perfect.
As she did her shooting James had shouted go and spread his wings, providing cover for the boys to run, after they were a ways away he pulled his wings in and football tackled the man to the ground.
June, with a hand on her stomach, hobbled quickly over and grabbed Raela and pulled her away from the tacklefest and pulling her to safety, hugging her close.
She handed her boob knife to Jason and pushed him in the direction of the fight.
She had to comfort a very shook up Raela.
"Shhh.. It's okay, I've got you.." She murmured, stroking the woman's hair.

James and Jason had gotten the man under control quite quickly, managing to use his injuries to their advantage and tying him up. James had thrown in a couple of punches and kicks at the man but when he stepped back covered in the other man's blood he still didn't feel satisfied.
"Lets get him into our basement." June murmured, Jason had long since moved in but they had kept that room the way it was.
She liked to have one room where, just in case, she could keep a prisoner and/or use that area as a safehouse.
June grimaced.
"I'm gonna have to stop his bleeding.... aren't I... damn.."

Raela shook and sobbed when he yelled at her.
"You fuckinf bitch! Where's Taylor? What did you do to her?!" As he was dragged away, she collapsed to her knees and hugged herself, her stomach bleeding and her wrist and left breast bruised.

June, in her super motherly protective state, found herself lifting Raela and half carrying her inside.
"Don't worry about him, I'll make him cry later." She murmured with a smile.
She sat Raela down on a stool in her bedroom, a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on her door to ward off male presence, and took out her first aid kit.
She removed Raela's shirt, not blinking and in doctor mode, and began to examine wounds and treat them in a cold analytic view, stopping every once and a while to murmur encouragement.

When June finished she offered Raela a clean set of comfy clothes and a hot chocolate.
"Hey, sweetie, you're safe now, James is getting your boys and he'll be waiting for you at home, Jason is gonna walk you home while I deal with the bastard. I'm gonna get a good answer but if you want me to ask a specific question please tell me.

"No...I can't...leave you alone...with him," she whimpered, rocking back and forth. Her eyes stared straight ahead, wide as her ghostly white face was filled with complete terror.
"I-I can't...I d-don't w-wanna leave you g-guys..," she rasped out.
It was times like these that she needed her friends, the ones that then became her family.

Jason glared at the man, watching over him. He was patched up for a moment and given one of those sedatives but it was keeping him alive.

June shook her head and stroked Raela's cheek in a motherly way, "Shh... Remember that I've seen much worse, been in much worse situations than this. I can handle myself, plus I have a lovely array of sharp things to keep myself safe. I will see you tomorrow, James is gonna take care of you, I might drop by later tonight... Me and Jason will handle this. You've been through enough, I'm ready to go to prison for you... babe, I've got this." She smiled and kissed Raela's cheek.
She got up and made it to the basement door and unlocked it.
"Jason! Come up here, I'll tend to the guy in a little bit... I need you to take Ray home."

June came back at a little jog, one hand holding her stomach. She made it to Raela and hugged her to her chest and stroked her hair.
"Okay, okay... You can stay.. I'll have James come here with the boys.. Okay?"

June pulled her onto the bed with her and held her close, stroking her hair.
"Shhh.... Jason will come here and I'll explain it.. Okay? I'll be here for you...Oh.. a kick.." June ended with a little laugh.
It was odd for her to comfort her so naturally, normally she'd feel awkward... It must have been the hormones.

June grimaced, not this again.
She was too pregnant for this.
She grappled Raela's arms perfectly and pinned her to the bed, June's belly brushing Raela's.
"Now you calm down. I have had enough of this, you're only injuring your friends when you hurt yourself. I am not in the hormonal ranges to be able to stand you hurting yourself for stupid reasons. Got that? James is coming, I expect him to be more lenient of your suicidal tendencies than I, I have a breaking point, m'dear, I can only handle so much before I get a little angry that you would hurt yourself.." June scolded, though gently.
June really got angry that some people got so selfish that they would take their own lives when so many people depended on them, it just showed her weakness. Of course she had her mental wall up while thinking this, you could never be too careful.
James opened the door and sent his boys to the couch, where they went silently, they were still a bit scared from earlier.
James raced to the bedroom and frowned at the scene.
"Ray.. baby? What happened? Did he hurt you again?" His voice caught at the last part.

James came in and helped June off, who was beginning to feel a bit too pregnant for this. James leaned against the backboard of the bed and pulled Raela into his lap.
He stroked her hand and started murmuring sweet nothings.
"He won't hurt you ever again, I'l make sure.. I'll protect you, I'll always protect you because I love you, I can't live without you.." He murmured.

June rubbed her belly and exited the room, where was her man when she needed a cuddle?
