"Were they?" Raela asked.
Her voice continued to be soft spoken and quiet, just for the sake of the sleeping children in their house.
She leaned against the doorframe, watching her husband with caring eyes that seemed to reminisce in some way.

Jason smiled and kissed her back softly.
"How was girls day?" he asked in a quiet voice, seeing that his daughter was asleep.

James nodded and stroked Declan's brow before leaving the room.
"They played their hardest.. And Benji almost got a goal.. I'm proud.." He murmured with a soft smile.

June smiled.
"Just what I needed. How was your day?"

Jason chuckled a bit and shook his head.
"Tiring," he murmured and began to drive home.

Raela smiled and walked with him before going over to Taylor, seeing the faint glimmer of tears on her cheeks. She frowned deeply at this and brushed the tears away.
"Taylor, sweetie, wake up," she urged in a soothing voice, shaking her shoulder.
Her daughter shot up with a loud scream, in a cold sweat and shaking.
Raela immediately embraced her.

June set the baby in her cradle once they were home and took a deep breath, measuring out her words in her head.
"Hey.. babe?" She called from the kitchen.

James frowned, like mother, like daughter.
He just wished he could help.

"Mommy," the little girl whimpered, beginning to sob and cling to her shirt.
"Shh...I've got you, baby girl...I'm here," she whispered.

Jason looked at her as he waited for the water to boil for tea.
"Hmm?"

James wrapped his big arms around both of them.
"You're okay.." he whispered, kissing her head.

June bit her lip.
"So... I was..uh....um.. there was this girl and ... she.. Oh.. for the gods sakes.. I'm pregnant. Again. Yeah..." She trailed off, her face in an awkward smile.

The little girl looked up at James with wide eyes, the same as her mother's.

Jason's eyes widened and glimmered happily but then they became worried. June had complications during birth. What if it was worse this time around.
He approached her and lifted her, twirling her a bit before setting her down and kissing her deeply.
He'd worry about that later.

"Cause I'll always protect you.." He added with a soft smile.

June kissed back, hugging him tight and ignoring the fact that she had no grace with words.
She rested her arms loosely around his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his waist, comfortable in his strong embrace.

Taylor sniffled and wrapped her arms around him, crying softly into his chest.

Jason pulled away, eyes sparkling.

James patted her back and 'shush'ed her soothingly. He smiled at Raela, he knew how to handle the nightmares pretty well. He couldn't stop them but he knew how to comfort after them.

June smiled back awkwardly.
"So... I'm gonna be fat again.." she sighed.

Jason barked out a laugh and nuzzled her forehead.
"But beautiful as always," he murmured.

When it became clear that Taylor had fallen asleep again, Raela gently lifted her into her arms and walked into their bedroom. She set the little girl down and pulled the covers over her, smoothing her hair.

June blushed and went to the kitchen, pulling herself off of him.
"Thanks.. Imma make some pasta.. you want some? I'm havin them cravins agin.." She explained, mocking his accent a bit.

James went to the kitchen and poured himself a small glass of wine.

He took another sip and stretched a bit.

June winked at him and began to get out ingredients, whistling country songs to continue the teasing.

Raela took a deep breath and gave him a faint smile.
"I can't," she murmured softly.

And then he surprised her, singing the song that she was humming.
He never sang in front of her before.

She rarely refused a glass...

June blushed and grinned, happy, and then started to sing with him.

Raela slid off the stood and stepped towards him biting her lip.
"I..."
She couldn't say it.
"I've just felt sick lately. I think I caught something. I'm going to go lay down," she murmured.
She walked off.

Jason cupped her hips from behind, his voice smooth and soft.

James frowned and followed her, very confused.
"Can I do anything for you? You want me to get you some gravol or something? Love?"

June paused in her duet to let out a little laugh.
"Calm down there, Daddy-o....Our duet isn't over yet..." She sang, rubbing into him a bit as a tease.

She wasn't aware of it.
"I'm fine," she spoke, feigning a smile.

Jason chuckled and kissed her cheek.

James frown deepened.
"Something's wrong... Tell me... Please.." He pushed, desperate to know.
He wanted to help, so bad.

June smiled and continued the song, her hands on top of his as they danced a bit around the room. It was slow and sweet and romantic.
She kind of loved it.

Jason then twirled her slowly until she was facing him. He placed his hands on her waist.

Raela sniffled.
"I'm pregnant......"

June laughed and finished the song and kissed his nose.
"Babe... I have to make the pasta.." She murmured into his lips.

James' eyes went wide and a smile grew on his face.
He quickly grabbed her into his arms and kissed her.
"That's amazing!.... Wait.. Why are you so sad about it?" He asked pulling away enough so he could see her face.

James wrapped his arms tight around her once more and rested his chin on top of her head.

June was quick and efficient when it came to cooking, a little less flair but the food tasted pretty good and she made it fast.

James frowned and kissed her hair, "What condition, love? The one June has? They would have told you when you had the boys, you were fine with them..."

June sighed with it finished, two bowls ready and one bottle of milk for the baby.
"When she wakes up, all will be ready. Let's dig in!" She said with a smile.
