Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: Really? I wasn't expecting it to end so soon. I'd thought that it would have gone on for another few hours at least... Hmm, maybe tradition stated otherwise.
Oh, okay. Sounds alright with me.
Well, it wasn't as if I had a choice. I was simply following along with whatever she said, similarly to how I got through every day that I had been in that manor. Sure, some of the time she wasn't there and was busy being dragged to some dress fitting or luncheon but still...
But after a little while longer and all of the plates had been cleared from the entrée (I'm trying to use American terms here...) and the waiters were preparing everything for dessert, I gave a quick glance to check up on everyone, Robin especially. But she was living up to her promise and wearing that little forced smile onto her lips so, until after all of that was over, I knew that she would be alright. I just wished that I could have gave her a little hug right then. It must have been hard for her. Angie quite similarly was sitting there happily enough, trying to make sense of the French food that was placed in front of her. Sure, she was probably used to having something simple alongside fries but she didn't seem that daunted. You should have seen Robin's face as it came out, bless her. I expected, however, that it looked a lot like mine did at first.
"How are you, Lila?" I asked softly, leaning in just a little and taking her hand beneath the table.
I had to say, she looked a little tired, just a little, but on top of that she seemed happy enough. Sure, that probably wasn't the wedding of her dreams but...it was the best that could have come out considering the circumstances. I did feel sorry about that. She probably didn't liked being upstaged on her wedding day like that.
Fergie: Though I appreciated the fact that she was making me clothes, she had to pick the most hideous fabric to make it out of, didn't she? But, I guess that I should have been happy with what I got. It was just good that she made the shorts first...the very short shorts. I was probably a couple of centimetres away from them being too short to cover up the bare essentials. And it wasn't as if they were baggy, either, they were quite clingy and...unforgiving, lets just say.
But enough about that, more about Molly.
"I thought that must have been what happened with the power," I breathed, taking both of her hands in mine, "And that guy did this? Whoa... He holds a grudge."
Trying, and most likely failing, to lighten the mood, I offered her a small chuckle, attempting to make the situation seem a little less daunting. Sure, I probably knew what that all meant a little better than Molly did. I had come to the shoppe may times in the past and knew Lilith pretty well... But the fact that Molly was the new guardian, well... It wasn't to be a walk in the park. But did she forget that I was there when that all happened, when her dad walked into my apartment and healed his dying daughter? I didn't want to remind her so I just nodded along with it.
"Not a problem," I smirked, shaking it off, "but don't be scared. It's not going to be something that you're going through alone, Molly. You've got me, Johnny and you could text Robin for moral support, I guess. But I'm sure that the whole "no going near Robin" thing will last forever if her dad sticks around. He probably wants her to be able to withstand you, maybe even train her powers. I don't know, I'm probably just rambling..."
And as I trailed off and looked around the shoppe, I gave out a low whistle, taking in the damage. Well, Robin's dad had totalled the whole place. Shattered glass lined the floors, the fabric was all torn up (minus the paisley, annoyingly enough) and the stock was all over the place. A couple of the live animals had already made their way out of the door or had started circulating the room in their search for a route out of the disaster zone. And even though it was Molly's new responsibility, it was obvious that she was going to need my help to get the place sorted again.
"And...maybe later. It seems that you've used a lot of energy in the past few minutes. You still don't know how much you can handle without exhausting yourself. But, until then, how about I take you home. I expect that your mother's waiting for you..."

Lila:
I opened my eyes, startled out of my little daze as he took my hand gingerly.
I smiled at him sweetly and glanced around, looking at other people and gouging their expressions.
"I'm steller, just a little tired...How are you? It's a lot to take in.." I replied looking at him, a bit concerned.
It was a huge ton of information to absorb in such a short amount of time, plus he had just been thrown about as I was... more or less carried about, as I was used to the insanity of this place.
I bit my lip again at the thought of the ceremony preceding this one.
The binding ceremony.
Sure, this first one celebrates us as man and wife, but this next one is of the Elven culture, passed down through the kings and queens. Like some sort of baptism, I guess, I had never been given the exact details as it's an intimate thing, or it is from what I've heard, I could be wrong.
I sighed and pushed a smile onto my face and returned my eyes to Olly, this was our day.
Molly:
I nodded along to his words, trying to piece everything together.
I was a guardian.
An important one too, from my weak understanding. Lilith didn't have me learning history she had me learning spells. Sure, I had grazed upon a few facts as musty books tried to explain things out and why a soul circle was called a pentagrin or why a simple witches brew needed a day to stew, stories were usually involved and almost all of them started with a cliche.
I hook my head at him when he mentioned the word 'later'.
Now.
If it was going to be done it was gonna be done now.
I pushed him a few feet away, to his confusion, and held up a finger before he could talk.
Within a few moments I started a chant and things started to move, started to repair themselves. Lilith had a nasty habit of destroying things and I was set to the task of repairing them, I had found a lovely little spell ages back but I had only used it on small things. This was a bit bigger.
Okay a whole lot bigger, but I was a whole lot more powerful.
More or less.
After a few moments of bright light and swirling chaos I had the shoppe back into a semblance of normalcy.
But I had started to black out.
I shook it away, but I remained dizzy and weak.
"You might wanna call Jefferey..." I murmured before passing out on the floor.
I should have listened to him, but I was one stubborn chick.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: I gave a small shrug to her comment. Sure, it was, but still... I was just going with the flow of it all, and of course there were moments were I just wanted to rip my hair out from how much pressure was placed upon me to be everywhere at once. Add that to the fact that I was missing home a lot, especially on the first night, I was quite surprised that I hadn't broken down from all of the pressure. And I would have loved to say that it would be the end of all of that but, somehow, I knew that it wasn't. Call it instinct or being cautious but it wasn't that exactly.
"A lot better than I have been a while, thank you" I smirked, trying to flick her concerns out of the way, but a binding ceremony? I don't think that I reached that chapter... Sorry.
A binding ceremony? Elven tradition? I hadn't heard of that before and I thought that I had read all of the books that she had given me...but maybe not.
Fergie: As soon as she shoved me back I knew what she was going to do. She had that cheeky little twinkle in the corner of her eye, a little spark of mischief shining there. But I didn't have enough time to stop her as much as I wanted to; she was already murmuring the spell, the objects around her already beginning to shake with anticipation to get moving. But as the whirlwind started to whip up, I covered my face, my beautiful face in case in got a sharp of glass through my cheek. No-one wanted that, did they? If I didn't have my looks, well... It was proven that I was a rotter.
So, as the magic died down and everything was resumed to normal, I let put a sigh, looking at her paled and weakened form. That was a big spell and she was already tired. The little tricks that she had done previously couldn't have done her any good. Teleportation spells were known to be the most draining and she had cast three as far as I could tell, plus a huge "Fix-It" spell. So as she muttered those words and fell to the floor, I let out a small sigh but one that was well hidden behind a smile.
"You doughnut."
And with a quick text to Jeffrey, I picked her up and carried her out of the shop, being extremely careful not to show off too much in those snazzy little shorts. I was just glad that not too many people were there and Jeffrey had already thought that I was at the shoppe and so was making his way there by the time I sent the text. So, after hopping into the car, we quickly made it to Molly's house and with one simple little spell from my house elf butler, we were in. Carefully and very quietly we made it through and placed her down on the sofa with a blanket that was found lying around somewhere. And after pressing a small kiss to her head, I left her behind, back in her house where she belonged.

(yeah- I know.. hmm.. lets see.. maybe just a few hours forward? just at the start of the second ceremony for Olly and Lila and just enough time for Molly to have recovered and whatnot.. I;ll post it in a bit- I have two essays to write :/)
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Lila:
I held my breath and Olly's hand, the monks in their blue habits started to chant as they motioned for me. We had been sent to the east wing and pushed along by my mother and various nobles until being shut into a dark room filled with incense.
I was pretty skeptical of this whole thing.
Not to mention the fact that I did not approve the way that the hooded monks had begun to paint on my face and shoulders with a light blue paint that matched their habits.
I now understood why my mother had insisted on the strapless dress.
I glanced over my shoulder to Olly who had been helped out of his shirt and covered in blue paint like I was.
He looked a bit awkward from my view but I shouldn't be one to judge, I was sporting a rather twisted up face, none of them responding to my questions.
After having a bunch of swirly designs finger painted on me the monks gathered around a small alter and began to chant, one pulled both me and Olly to our feet.
I glanced around and tried my best to be respectful and not confused, but I was struggling.
I frowned as the paint began to glow and held back a whistle.
I had to admit that this was getting pretty cool.
"We bind you to each other and hold your souls up for the goddess Ayril for inspection." One of the hooded monks explained.
I held a thumbs up and a smile, not really sure how to respond.
"Cool..."
Molly:
I woke up to my hair being stroked and a comforting scent of home around me. I opened my eyes and my mother was frowning slightly as she saw me wake.
"You had me worried! When Fergie told me you had collapsed when you were rehearsing for the school play I didn't really believe him.. but that costume of his really couldn't have another reason... But I'm gonna have to ask you to drop it.. you're too stressed already and this is just another thing on your plate and we have your grades to worr-"
I cut my mother off with a hug and a sob.
She was back.
She remembered!
I cried in relief, so incredibly happy that she knew me again.
She hugged me back, confused, but nevertheless comforted my hysterically crying self. I needed my mom.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: Monks? Incense? Glowing Paint?
I think it was safe to assume that all of that was the binding ceremony.
And of course I had no idea what was going on. That wasn't something that I had heard about in any of the books, not even the own that was filled with cultural traditions and the like. But since Lila had no real clue about what was going on either, I didn't real all that bad about being clueless, and she was the elf.
So, as they stripped me of my shirt and slathered me in the blue paint, I just knelt there in silence, watching their outlines as they did their work, expecting that nothing bad could happen. I mean, her parents and a couple of other people were there... I didn't know if Mom was or if she didn't get invited but whatever it was, they all seemed to know what was happening.
But as Lila replied, I had to chew down on my lip to stop myself from laughing at her, not because that was probably the last thing that a person would say to a monk but because she was indeed quite adorable. I just gave a simple nod, pretending that what he said or what was happening actually made any sense at all to me.
Robin: Pretty much as soon as Olly and Lila left along with a couple of others, Angie and I tottered up to bed. It wasn't as if we were missing anything, just a load of old snoots chatting about the stocks market and horses, really. And anyway, they wouldn't have wanted to speak to us nor we would we want to converse with them. Either way the best thing to go was to go to sleep.
Well, for me, it was more trying to go to sleep.
I didn't know how long I had been lying there, staring at the ceiling of that room above me, just thinking. Just thinking about things, mostly things involving the events of the months before then since we touched Lilith's knockers and all of the good things, the bad things and all of the bits in between. Sure, throughout then some pretty sweet things had happened: I met Johnny, found out that both Molly and I had powers and Olly had gotten married. But that was about it for the good things. The bad things included Molly becoming Lilith's apprentice, Molly and Fergie - as much as I love her - getting together and the fact that I almost died that day. The in between? Well, I still had no clue about how I truly felt about my dad suddenly appearing out of the blue. I was kind of neutral, unknowing about how I should have felt... Maybe Johnny would help me with that.
But as well as that, about a thousand questions swarmed through my mind though the main one...
Who was I?
Sure, obviously on my passport and birth certificate it said some things but not in the sense that I was thinking about. I was talking about philosophically, like the person inside with roots and origins. At the beginning of the year I was quite happy being the wacky girl with a single mother who worked all of the time, an older brother who was relatively normal and a zany little sister. But then, as I was lying in bed, I had become more than that. We weren't normal, any of us. And I was worried at first when I had found out that Johnny was an elf but my dad was a powerful warlock too?
"R-Robbie? Are you awake?"
I let out a small sigh as I heard Angie's croaky little whisper. I knew that I was thinking too loudly. I always fiddled with my fingers when I thought so it was probably easy to see my silhouette moving about in the dark and know that I wasn't asleep, that or she had heard me sniffing away the odd tears that had flustered to my eyes. So, as I turned to face her, I saw her hunched up little body, hugging herself in the middle of the large bed. My lips made a small frown, blinking to watch her lying there alone.
"C-can I stay in your bed for tonight?"
I didn't need to think twice.
"Of course."
Unfolding the cover, I gave her a moment for her to slip out of her bed and crawl into mine before flipping the duvet back down again. And as she wrapped her arms around my waist, I knew that I would have usually complained about that but, at the time, I thought that I needed that just as much as her, to have someone there so I wasn't on my own any more.
"Night night," she murmured, her breath warm against my skin.
"Sleep tight," I whispered back, pressing a quick kiss onto the top of her head, "Don't let the bed bugs bite."
And with little else than a small yawn, in a matter of seconds the sounds of her soft snores were filling the room. But that there, just having her by me, was enough to finish the questions in my mind and send my off to sleep.
I think it was safe to assume that all of that was the binding ceremony.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Lila:
I had to hold back a few swears as the glow from the paint pulled away from us and formed a glowing person.
Yes.
I am not lying.
A life sized, glowing female in a dress appeared right in front of us, I was stunned to say the least. She walked over to both of us and touched our foreheads, causing an electrifying feeling in the pit of my stomach. After a few moments of near silence, as the monks were still chanting, the glowing woman, who by now I had pegged as the goddess Ayril, pulled away and smiled.
I smiled back awkwardly and she vanished, returning to the pant and sinking into our skin.
I was mildly creeped out and impressed at the same time.
The monks stopped chanting and pulled us to our feet with smiles on their faces.
"The great goddess has accepted your marriage and the binding is complete. Live long future regents." The oldest monk stated.
An excited squeal from my mother had me wincing and she quickly guided us out of the room.
"That was the weirdest shi-" I was cut off by crowd of giggling girls as they pulled me away and into my room down the hall.
Great.
They were gonna get me ready and cleaned for my wedding night.
I felt the butterflies go into a hurricane in the pit of my stomach as they washed off the paint and started to undress me.
Oh yeah, I was gonna mess this up.
I could feel it.
Molly:
I sat in my room smiling as my mom left to make me a grilled cheese sandwich.
Everything seemed pleasant.
Perfect.
As if I hadn't become the Guardian of the North a few short hours ago.
It was peaceful.
I let my head fall back to my pillows and sighed, my body was completely relaxed.
Until the doorbell rang.
I stiffened.
I heard my mother open it and talk, her voice holding a confused tone to it.
She called me down.
I reluctantly left the warmth of my bed and trudged down the stairs in my llama pajamas and froze as I saw a bunch of men in armor at the door.
Shit.
There went the normal.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Llama pyjamas?
Olly: Okay... Let's just say at the point where a glowing silhouette of a woman made out of paint was standing there, I wasn't sure what was happening. I was pretty sure however that Ricky had told me about a "trip" he was on once where a similar thing had happened, well, expect there were a few flying pigs and a unicorn in the background playing poker. But either way.
The whole thing was over in a matter of moments, literally with a single touch of that Ayril and it was done. In the core of my body, however, I did feel something a little different, like a little flame had been lit within me... I didn't know how to explain it but it was weird.
"How are--"
And just as I was going to check how she was, I was met with the backs of a group of girls rushing her off into a different room, off to a different place altogether, leaving me standing there with her parents and the other nobles. And as I did, I let out a breath, covered in just blue paint and with no shirt to be found with a night that was turning quite cold quite quickly.
Well, at least we were going to spend the night together.
Our wedding night.
And we all know what happens on the wedding night.
Heh.
But wow. I was a married man and bound to Lila. That was strange to think though I didn't really know what was special about that whole ceremony.
N'ah well, whatever culture and social convention dictates.
"So," I began, looking back to her parents, "If you'd excuse me I think I better wash off this paint."
To be honest, it was beginning to irritate my skin. I might have been the toughest out of the three potential suitors however I did bruise like a peach with the sensitive skin that I had...not that I was hoping that they would ever find out about that with any luck. But if I was going to stand there for much longer it wouldn't have been a pleasant sight.
And with a nod to each of them, just as I was about to turn around I felt a hand patting my back, a burly hand, short and stout and covered in about three rings per finger. As I glanced over my shoulder to see Lila's father smiling, I couldn't help but give a slightly confused grin.
"Congratulations, my son. Welcome to the family."
And with that, he ushered me forward back into the house to clean myself up.
Standing on the drive of Molly's house, about a dozen men clad head to foot in armour stood in a line. And despite the fact that it was obviously quite late into the evening, a trio of trumpeters, the ones next to the flag-bearer, created a fanfare as she appeared at the door, one that caused a few lights to go on in the nearby houses. But after a good solid thirty seconds of racket, one of the men stood forward, armed with a large parchment scroll in his hand and raised his helmet. Before she could register any sort of response, the man bowed with the rest of his men copying.
"You are Miss Molly Black, correct?" the one with the biggest and fuzziest dark blue plume asked, standing in front of all of the others, "This is a telegram from the Great King to the new Guardian of the North."
And as stood up straight again, he quickly unravelled the document, not daring to look at her face. Instead, he cleared his throat and began to read out loud.
"Dear new Guardian. It has come to my attention that the previous Guardian of the North, Madame Lilith Fretton, your tutor of the magical arts, has retired from her post thus meaning that you, as her apprentice, are the rightful heir to her position. I would like to meet you so that we may address this matter to a greater extent including if you wish to pass on this privilege to another in your steed. You along with a maximum of four others are cordially invited to the courts with full board and travel paid for in Witherwood. I shall expect to see you at the Courts in five days time."
And with that, the man took down the scroll from his face and peered back to Molly, his piercing amber eyes unblinking at her. After giving just a single moment to let all of that information sink in, he carried on with the rest of the script.
"Miss, as you shall need to travel to the Magic Lands from here the trip will most likely take two to three days by horseback. This means that you have one and a half days to gather your essentials, pack and find your comrades if applicable. We shall return at that time so, until then."
So with a final bow from each of the armour-clad knights, they all stepped back and down away from the drive and out of sight.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
yes.. is there something wrong with that?
...It's not like I own a pair or anything.. and I definitely don't own moose pajamas,,
Lila:
After about twenty minutes of giggles and an alarming amount of frills later I was approved by the gaggle of girls and left alone.
They leaving to go fetch my husband.
I was very close to dying of embarassment.
They had placed me in a soft pink dress thingy that was covered in flowers and hearts and frills and lace and curled my hair and turned me into little miss priss.
I was close to vomiting actually.
I focused my self on trying to figure out how to rip off the most bows possible without destroying the dress.
Then I actually thought about destroying the dress.
But how would I destroy the evidence?
The fire place?
No.. there was a gate over it.
The window?
No people would see that.
I could eat it...
That could work.
I grimaced.
Molly:
My mouth hung open along with my mother's, we just stood there watching the shiny armored night trot off as if they did this everyday.
I blinked and rubbed my temple.
"Couldn't we just take a car?" I asked as they left.
I then picked up the phone and started dialing, much to my mother's confusion.
I hated to use magic on her.
Should I?
It felt like I was betraying her trust.
I couldn't get her mixed up in this though.
I was doing this for her own good.
Yeah, this was the way things had to be.
"Mom. You won't remember that and I'm going on a camping trip for the next couple days. We have to buy provisions." I murmured, letting a bit of magic attach to my voice.
It tore at my heart.
Stabbing it a little bit.
I sucked in my breath as the phone dialed.
Then I hung up.
I had started to call Robin.
It was instinct.
But I couldn't anymore.
Could I?

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
No, it was just that when I first read the post I was on my iPod and I was sitting there giggling like a little girl. And I so need some! The best pair that I have are covered in cupcakes I want llamas!
Olly: I could tell you, by the time that I had scrubbed off all of the paint I was left with a large feeling of pain all over my torso. Whoever had chosen the paint had obviously not meant for it to have been washed off easily. My skin honestly felt, and looked a little, like it had been painted with bleach. And as I stood, looking at my reflection in the ensuite mirror, I let out a sigh, running my hand through my damp hair. It was weird, how I felt at that point. A few main things had happened that day and I wasn't really sure how I was coping with it:
Firstly, I was married.
Secondly, my dad turned up.
Thirdly, he wants to speak with me.
And finally, I had met a goddess.
I'd call that an eventful day.
But as I quickly threw on another shirt to cover up my sore skin, I let out a sigh, quickly buttoning it up before I was interrupted by a flurry of knocks on the door and a chorus of giggles, ones that sounded rather a lot like the ones which escaped from between the lips of the girls who carried Lila off...
They had come for me.
Shit.
And though their thoughts were loud enough, the fact that there were so many on top of one another and going at the rate which they were meant that it was hard for me to understand what that was all about. So, as I opened the door and looked around the group, before I could blink and register what they were doing, one had grabbed my arm and began directing me to another room, the others joining in by holding onto a part of me and shoving me forward. And after, say, a minute of pushing and shoving and unanswered questions being shot about, one of them swung open a door for only to get shoved inside of. And with a slam, they were gone, trapping me in a room with...
Was that Lila?
"Wow," I murmured, looking her up and down, "You have some weird and twisted friends."
She didn't look comfortable, I could say that. They probably shoved her into that very sexy little number and done her up like a Barbie against her consent. But I had to say, she did look very... I couldn't think of another word other than sexy, to be fair. It was enough to start myself getting hot under the collar.
Wait, wait! They were condoning this? They dressed her up like that? Was that something that girls did? Get involved in one another's...intimate evenings? I wouldn't dare let any of my friends even close to me when that happens.
Yeah, they were very weird, sick and twisted little people...
Fergie: I didn't know what that was, that little happy feeling inside of me, the one that had formed when I was able to lay Molly down in her own bed where she belonged and seeing her mother's worried face. It was just lucky that she bought that I was Mowgli from the Jungle Book otherwise explaining that little fashion disaster that was I had been forced to don would have been very hard and tedious. I was truly lucky that Jeffrey was amazing at thinking on his feet.
"Umm... Master Fergie?" he asked, looking back in the rear view mirror, "If you could turn your attention to the screen. I have just received news."
Huh?
Turning on the little television that was built into the backs of the seats, I gave a small frown, wondering what the news could have been. I knew that he must have just gotten the information from the other magical creatures around the area, like a neighbourhood watch for magical occurrences. But as I saw the little picture on the screen, I had to raise a brow.
Knights in shining armour riding through town?
"They're the King's men, the Great King. They were spotted in Molly's area and seen coming to and from her house," he called back, pulling up on the side of the road, "I expect that means that the king has already received news of Lilith's leave and contacted Molly in order to meet her... Would you like to--"
"Of course," I nodded, reading more about the story though there wasn't much to tell other than that fact, "If you wouldn't mind."
And as Jeffrey shot him that look of "I'm not paid to mind about what I do, I just do it because its my job", he quickly turned back around and got to Molly's house once more. So as I ran up and tapped on the door, I grimaced as I realised that I was still in that outfit.
Bloody brilliant.

lol- Llamas are boss.. I have polar bears and moose
Lila:
"I wouldn't say friends... I'd say the people my mother picked out...and believe me.. I know." I grumbled wiping the blue eye shadow off and then the pink lipstick.
I came off pretty easily, though my lips were stained pink, and I let out a sigh, not very happy with my attire.
I pulled the dress thing down a bit, as it had begun to rise awkwardly ever since I had ripped off a seemingly meaningless bow that apparently was pretty important in this girly design.
"...Did they give you some sort of bleach in your paint? I mean, no offence and all.. but you kinda look like you were left out in the sun with a selective amount of sunscreen.." I giggled, patting his cheek softly.
I pulled on the hem again and then blushed.
God.
I was such an awkward creature when it came done to it, sure you could stuff me in a dress and heels and give me lines and I could play the part but when it came to the real me? I floundered around and smashed through life like a bull in a china shop.
I snickered a bit at both of us, being completely frazzled and yet calm all the same.
Maybe it was only funny to me, but I laughed at myself a lot.
Molly:
I opened the door, a bit exhausted and feeling extremely guilty after sending my mother to bed so the spell would sink in.
When Fergie arrived I was both relieved and incredibly annoyed.
I raised an eyebrow, seeing he was still in his short shorts but glad because it made a smile creep up on my face.
"Hey... You're a little late for the magic parade. They just left.. And I just cast a spell on my mother... and I am a terrible person." She said, monotone with the smile fading.
I sighed and opened the door wider so he could come in.
I rubbed my face and closed the door behind him.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
:O I am jealous. I would like a pair of llama pyjamas
Olly: Her mother picked out those people? The ones who just stuffed her daughter into a collection of little pink frills, bows and ribbons? But she did so well on choosing the colour scheme!
But as she got a little closer to me, I had to hold back from looking down her body. As I had previously mentioned, that dress was skimpy and somewhat translucent. It left just a little to the imagination.
"Uhh... Yeah," I replied, stumbling over my words, "My skin is ridiculously sensitive. Even the sensitive moisturiser makes it go all...rashy. Paint obviously isn't good for it either."
I gently shrugged it off. To be honest it just looked nasty. At that point it was fine. I was no longer left with the sensation that I was actually on fire which was at least something with the amount of scrubbing I had to do to get it off... But why did hers come off so easily? She didn't look like I did one bit! She just looked...pristine. Sure, a little weird with the plethora of bows and little designs, but not baked to a crisp. But I could have easily solved that little problem that she was having. I could have taken that little number off of her if she wanted me to...
Eh, I was a gentleman. I always help a lady in distress.
"But don't we look a sight," I sighed, trying on a smile.
Gently, I placed my hands on her hips, holding her a little closer to me. To be honest, it was something that I had wanted to do for quite a while, to have her next to my skin for more than a moment whenever we shared a kiss. It was only then when I really could have done it... Well, we were married, weren't we? That sort of thing was allowed.
Hehe.
Fergie: I let out a small sigh as I walked in. And after offering her a small shake of my head, I peered back at her.
"You're not a terrible person. You just did what any person would do in the same situation, I'm sure of it," I murmured, letting out a breath, "And that's why I'm here. Jeffrey got a report that the Royal Knights were spotted coming from here so I thought that it might have had something to do with you. What was that all about?"
I knew that it was probably to do with the whole Lilith thing, though. Why else would they bother visiting at that hour? Plus, they only used the teleportation powder when it was truly necessary and to have gotten there that quickly... Well, it had to have been about the Guardian thing.
I watched his eyes, a bit curiously to where they were going but it became obvious after a moment and I held back a grin.
I opened my mouth, probably to say something snarky or what I hoped would be cleverly seductive but it turned to mush in a quick flash.
His hands sat on my hips gently, tenderly, and my mind was off.
With his hands on my hips I couldn't help but blush like a school girl, my thoughts a bit jumbled and probably went along the lines of "OMG TOUCH...HE..TOUCHING MEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEE...OMG..."
I had to admit it wasn't one of my moments of revelation nor was it brilliant, not in any way. So after a few moments my ever so highly evolved brain decided to work again a smile grew on my lips.
The witty comment came back with confidence, my body was used to his hands by then.
"Sensitive, eh? So... what happens if I.." I trailed off and brought little kisses on his throat, and around his jaw, my body pressing ever so close.
I paused and looked up to him meekly.
"Well?"
Molly:
"They want me to go all old fashion and trek up to their castle and meet their king.... I'm allowed to bring.. like five people I think? Four? I don't know.. I don't really care.. I'm.. I'm just so damn tired of all this shit! It's forcing me into things.. I just had to put a spell on my Mother, my mother!" I exclaimed, swear words finding their way to my lips.
I hugged myself and looked at Fergie, the outfit not really cutting it to make me smile.
"I'd offer you some clothes but we don't really have any males in this place so no male clothes.. I mean I could magic you up some if you want.." I added, my voice grumbling a bit.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: It was times like those were being a mind reader had its positives. Just hearing her girly little squeals though my mind was enough to let me chuckle lightly, quickly getting the feeling that maybe I should have been more confident with that move earlier.
People always said that I was too cautious.
But as she began to caress my neck with her lips and press her body to mine, those thoughts were quickly washed out, leaving me with a growing fire inside of me. Sure, at that time it was just a little flicker in the midst of my gut but I knew that after a little while longer, if that kept on continuing, well...
"Hmm?" I mumbled, trying to return my mind back to reality and the situation, "Well, I'd say that I'd have to do something similar, like..."
Just trailing off, I pressed my lips to hers again, kissing with just enough passion to show some worth but maybe just a little less to leave her a little hungry for more. And as my hands slowly trailed up and down her lower back, stroking her skin beneath the pale pink chiffon, my kisses began to explore more of her body, parading over her cheek, down her throat for a moment before wandering back up to her ear, letting my teeth have a little nibble on the hanging lobe.
Fergie: Dismissing the whole "clothes" thing with a wave of my hand, I believed that it was more important to focus on the things which actually mattered at that point.
"The king wants to speak with you? That's a little big, Molly," I commented, raising my brows, "He obviously wanted to make sure that his potential new Guardian is competent enough to handle the responsibility of the matter. And this shit keeps on happening to you because of Robin..."
Okay, that last little bit was not meant to come out. It was only natural for me to say something like that but, it was true. Robin was the one who came up with the idea to break into the shop and touched Lilith's -- no -- Molly had the shop then. It was her idea to touch Molly's knockers... Kinky.
"And four people? That's quite a few..." I murmured, mostly to myself.
So, it was then when I quickly got the feeling that Molly no longer being Lilith's apprentice wasn't the end of the story. I hoped that it would be, that we could all live a peaceful life and everything, but no, Robin's dad had to come along and harm Lilith...
Damn the Parlour name.

Lilac:
So my upper hand had quickly dropped, his kisses sending my head into oblivion.
His hands send shivers up my spine.
I held back the little moan that rumbled in my throat but couldn't hide the little gasp as he nibbled my ear lobe. I let my hands start unbuttoning his shirt, though it was already part way down, and paused at his belt, the shirt vanishing under the pants. With a little boost of confidence I stuck my hands under his belt, effectively pulling him closer, and began to slowly untuck his shirt.
Suffice to say my body had warmed up quite a bit.
"Well.. I'd probably respond with something like this." I murmured breathlessly.
Molly:
I felt angry, it was something that I tended to push away but I felt like concentrated rage that moment.
He had just stepped in at the wrong time.
Robin wasn't there to calm me down like she usually did.
He saw me when I found about his secret, I felt worse today.
"You think I don't know this is a big deal? You think I don't realize it? It's not because of Robin I was Lilith's apprentence, now was it?" I said calmly, my voice even though as I reached the end I added a bit of venom.
"If I hadn't been Lilith's apprentence I wouldn't be in this situation now, would I?" I asked him, my eyes flashing.
"I am just as surprised as you are, hell, I am terrified, can I avoid this? No. Do I have my best friend to help me through it? No. Why? Cause if I go near her I'll probably kill her, and what makes matters worse is that I can feel everything she is feeling! I can feel her sadness and her anger and her fear!" I exclaimed, my voice rising.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: She was a minx, wasn't she? As far as I could tell that was a little hard to better, feeling her touch against my bare chest slowly wandering downwards below the belt...
"Well," I murmured.
Pulling my lips away from her, I looked down my nose to her eyes, resting my forehead upon hers to show her my growing smile. My hands still mindlessly trailed along her back, tracing the contours of her curves and spine, demanding myself to take that thin material off of her so that I could properly have her.
"I would rather like to rip this flouncy number off however..." I dragged off, placing a small slow kiss on her lips before continuing, "I'm sure that you'd jjhate for me to do that."
Fergie: Quickly, I began to frown, cursing myself for having such a loose tongue. I really needed to know how to control that.
But as I took in a deep breath, I planted my hands upon her shoulders, peering into the depths of her eyes, to the real shade of forest green which hid behind the rainbow disco of magic, the real and human her.
"Okay, I said that I was sorry for that so we won't go over that, however," I breathed, keeping my tone calm, "What her father said. He said that until she became powerful enough to at least withstand you. That meant that if Robin got a little bit of magical training then that wouldn't be the case. Until then you could still telephone her to talk to her. Sure, she probably won't be able to go with you on the trip, but..."
I trailed off, unable to really finish my sentence properly. I didn't know what else to say. It was a tricky situation and I accepted the majority of the blame for everything. Looking back on that wasn't going to help.
Yes, it was because she was scaring me and I didn't want to receive a fireball to the butt. Can you truly blame me?

I laughed into his lips, and brought them to his ear, via his neck, throat, and jaw.
"I seem to recall you saying you were a gentleman, you would help a lady in distress wouldn't you... She'd appreciate you freeing her from the vile cloth that holds her captive.. save me.." I whispered slowly.
I pulled my hands from his pants and pulled him by the unbuttoned shirt towards the bed. As soon as I felt the bed on the back of my thighs I pulled 'I am going to swoon!' face, complete with the dramatic hand on forehead for the full picture.
"Well, mister gentleman?"
Molly:
I bit my lip and watched him with wide watery eyes.
"I'm sorry.. Magic.. magic makes me very emotional at times..." I said with a wobbly voice.
I rubbed my face and took a few deep breaths.
These mood swings were beginning to grate on my nerves, they were worse than going through puberty.
I sighed roughly, finally feeling a bit more in control.
"I'm going to call her... then plan out my next few moves.. I have two days to get everything I need for the journey to meet the king, apparently."
I let my hand ghost over his cheek before sliding out of his grasp and into the kitchen to grab one of the gourmet cupcakes that sat on a dish.
They were picker uppers.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: My brow twitched, wanting to raise up as I watched her little act. Sure, I knew that she was acting but she was too good at it. I was literally in the palm of her hand.
"Then her wish is my command."
Raising my hands up to her chest, my fingers latched onto the edge of the material, making sure to accidentally graze against her breasts just a little. And with one small tug, that satisfying sound of ripping fabric came to my ears as my eyes trailed down to her chest uncovered. After swallowing down my words to stop me from saying anything stupid, I continued to tear, putting my hands unnecessarily close to her skin just because. And as I looked back into her eyes, I tried to pull a bit of a sexy grin though it might have came out as a little...strange.
And before she could say anything else, I lifted her chin to let her lips meet mine as we tumbled back onto the bee behind us.
Fergie: I gave her a quick nod as she spoke, thinking that it would just be better if I didn't say anything else. Sure, I wanted to say that it wasn't her fault but I had to agree. Magic was closely tied with emotions, you could see that with any untrained witch or wizard. Often when they're experiencing strong emotions then the magic goes a little wild with it. But with Molly it seemed that because she had just been given a whole bucket load more power her moods were swinging like a gate in the middle of a hurricane.
"That sounds like a good plan," I nodded, following her into the kitchen quickly with a weak smile, "Robin's generally quite a good planner...most of the time."
It was the only thing that I would admit about her, that she didn't know when to quit though that could be seen as both a good thing and a bad. But I didn't want to dwell on that too much.
"Anyway, I best head off," I announced, offering her a smile, "School tomorrow."

Lila:
He was a tease.
That part was evident.
If his voice wasn't enough to add wood to the fire I had inside his 'accidental' touches were. I let out a few little groans as he touched me, and soon the dress was nothing more than a scrap of fabric and I was naked.
And he was staring at me... Okay, so imagine the joker without makeup and then add a 'I watch you while your sleeping' face onto that, that was pretty much it.
I was about to comment but his lips were on mine and we were rolling around passionately.
After a few moments I felt it necessary to strip him down to my level, meaning get his sexy ass naked.
Very naked.
Molly:
I laughed, a few memories swelling up of all our disastrous adventures. We always had fun, no matter what and that's what mattered.
I was pulled out of my reverie with his quick farewell.
School.
That's right.
Did I have to go?
I technically was a business owner now.
Could I afford time at school working or did I need every second to plan out my next step.
I bit my lip.
Either way I couldn't afford to hold Fergie back any longer.
I got on my tip toes and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"Thanks for.. Tolerating me and everything.." I murmured.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: By the time we were rolling in the bed, my thoughts were lost. The only thing that was in control was my body, the tender ache of want running through every muscle which I owned. And as she began to remove my pants, I pinned her down, making a point to nuzzle into her neck, wanting to put out that flame that was raging within. My fingers gently traced down her the outside of her thighs, reaching her knee before trailing back up on the inside, as slow as you like.
"I want you so badly..." I breathed, pressing my lips to her ear, "So, so badly..."
Fergie: Giving her a small titter, I kissed her back, hoping that she would be alright. I knew her well. I knew that she was either thinking about some problem or a little confused. And of course as her ever faithful boyfriend, I had to make sure that she was well.
"Don't worry about it," I murmured, gently pulling away from her, "There wasn't anything to tolerate."
And after dropping her a small wink and a wave, I quickly exited her house to leave her in peace. She probably needed that time to think to herself and soak it all into her system through a sleepless night and a brainstorm of ideas and aspirations. But whatever she did, I knew that a few days after that I'd be in a castle.

Lila:
I let my moans out, my body on fire and the desperate need to have it cooled. At his nuzzle I let out a gasp and his hands just made the fire worse.
He really underestimated the power of touch because he decided to whisper sexily into my ear, driving me just a little mad.
The weird thing was that it felt like it was in my head and not only in my ear, his plea felt like it was everywhere, and it left me short of breath.
I hungrily claimed his lips, cutting him off from continuing and making my torture worse. I slipped my hands from his grip and pulled at his pants again, grinding my hips into him to make a point.
"Then take off your pants and do me..." I growled, passion making me a little short tempered.
In a good way.
I ground my body against his another time, letting him know I was getting impatient, I needed him.
My body needed him.
(The return of) Johnny:
I grimaced and threw my bow tie to the ground, I was a bit grumpy seeing as I didn't have the chance to see Robin at all for the past couple of days and it was making me feel a little desperate.
It was hard to start my days without seeing her smiling face, so much so I had changed my Cell's back ground to a picture of her.
In a non creepy way, for sure.
I ran a hand through my hair and dialed her number, my neediness winning out over manliness.
Hell, I'd wear a dress for her if need be.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: I didn't need to be told twice.
Taking just a moment to rip off of my pants and boxers, I threw them down somewhere on the other side of the room before I returned my lips to hers. My hands trailed down the length of her body, gently brushing her skin before I took a hold of her hips.
I didn't just want her.
I needed her.
I needed to feel her, to have her.
That's what my body was screaming at me for.
So gently, I began, thrusting my body lightly into hers, slowly, teasingly, trying to get her crazy. The burn continued to spread through my body, the moment fuelled my passion and lust. I felt my top lip quiver, the ache building up in my gut as it began to grow, to multiply. But after a few moments, I felt the want, the need, race through me as I began.
Harder.
Deeper.
Faster.
That was the only thing that my body could do, nothing else. That's all it was focusing on. To see her reactions. To feel my own. To fulfil the night.
Robin: "What? No! I can't do that!"
My body shook as I held onto the golden key, the one that which I was only able to hold with both hands at once. And as I peered up to the old man, the one covered in lavish jewels and furs, I quickly began to frown, studying his face. But even to my objection, the man continued to laugh, a jolly happy laugh despite the severity of the situation.
"Of course you can! It's simple. Just travel over the lands to the door, put the key in the lock and turn. Then this will all be over."
Of course, I was still skeptical. It wasn't like I knew this guy. Hell, I had only known him for a good hour or so, nothing like a lifetime, a bare minimum of time that you'd expect to need for something like that.
"But why me?" I asked weakly, "Why not Molly?"
"She is too busy, isn't she? Plus, I believe that it's your duty, child, for you are--"
Blinking a couple of times to adjust to the sudden light show, I quickly frowned as I realised that it was my phone vibrating.
Who the hell was calling at that hour? Whoever it was they'd be facing my wrath later, I was sure about that...
Well, until I picked up the phone that was. As soon as I saw that name on my screen I couldn't help but replace my frown with a small smile. So, as I accepted the call, I quickly slipped out of the bed, being careful not to accidentally wake up Angie. And as I left the room and raised the phone up to my ear, I gave a very little sigh.
"Hello?" I mumbled, looking around me for a path leading to a place to go, "How are you?"
To be honest, I was still pretty much half asleep. I wasn't really focusing on anything and, as I reached the stairs, I almost stumbled down them...again. And in a matter of moments, the next thing that I knew I had made my way outside onto a little patio area alone, standing around in my oversized shirt and cycle shorts. I should have thought about that sooner, the fact that I was probably doing to be cold. It was just handy that I was wearing my slipper socks otherwise I wouldn't have dared have gone outside. I would have just lurked around the corners and prayed that I wouldn't wake anyone up.
"You wouldn't believe what happened to me," I murmured, leaning against the wall, "It's a bit insane."
Somehow I managed to chuckle, though it was full of nerves. Of course I wanted to tell him all about that the next day but...I was finding it difficult. I could already feel that my emotions were beginning to get up again and I tried to hold back those tears but it was proving difficult. So as I peered back up into the sky, I let out a shaky sigh once again.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Lilac:
As soon as he was in me I was near screaming from the pleasure, his needs projected into my mind and amplifying every single touch. His slow start made me twitch and squirm with pleasure, my fingers digging into his tender back flesh and running through his hair. If he wanted to get me riled up he had gotten that wish tenfold. I bit my lip, trying to silence myself but as he picked up speed, in a delicious desperate sort of way, I couldn't hold back.
I yelled out each time our hips hit and gasped for air between the thrusts but as he went faster the harder I found it to breathe.
The fire that had started as a little burning desire had turned into an inferno of... love I guess.
Really, thoughts were pretty much gone after a few moments and all I could think about was holding on and kissing and touching and pleasuring him as best I could.
I let out a low moan, signalling him to go faster, my muscles tightening in preparation for the final hurrah.
Johnny:
I smiled at her voice and then raised an eyebrow.
"Hmmm? What happened? I hope you're okay.. I missed you.. It's been hell not being able to see you and knowing that Molly still has to be Lilith's apprentice.. it must be hard on you.. When are you guys meeting next? I know you have a schedule for that.. wait.. isn't her birthday soon too?" I rambled on, happy to just know she was on the other end of the line.
I sat back on my couch and winced, realizing the time.
"Oh.. shit.. Sorry, I didn't realize what time it was.. I must have woken you up.. sorry..."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Olly: I continued onwards, putting more strength and passion into each thrust, each grind into her hips, each kiss on her lips, wanting to fulfil that burn that was about to explode within me. I could it feel it almost peeking. All I needed was just a little longer, just a little to finish the deed. But it wasn't just that. Her touch was amplifying the experience, making me lose myself in the moment. I had almost gone into autodrive in a weird sort of sense, like an animal within me was trying to escape. It almost as if it wasn't me.
A small grunt in between pants of effort escaped from my lips as I felt myself ready, felt everything begin to let...go. And with a groan, I felt my body begin to let go, slowly down as I rolled my eyes back, soaking in the pleasure of the moment. My muscles fidgeted as I peered back down to her, studying her features for just long enough before I placed another kiss on her lips.
"I love you."
Robin: As I sniffed, I let out a small chuckle, wiping my face with the back of my hand. He was so sweet. He was rambling on. Sure, sometimes when a guy interrogates the girl it can be because he's a control freak, but it wasn't like that. He was just concerned, most likely. He was like an innocent little puppy dog, one that when he does something bad you can't feel guilty about due to the huge puppy eyes. But that was part of why I loved him.
But I ignored all of those questions, skipping right down to the end.
"Don't worry about it. I wasn't asleep for long," I murmured, reassuring him, "But...y-yeah."
My voice shook as he spoke, talking about Molly, when we were meeting next, when her birthday was and so on. He didn't know, did he? He didn't even know about the whole task thing where we reunited...then my dad turned up and screwed everything up sky-high.
"Basically..."
And I told him everything from since he last left off. Sure, at times it was a little difficult due to my voice was breaking up as my eyes let go of a flood of tears. But, after a little while and a lot of effort on my half, I had said it all, every last little detail. So I figured that it was best to give it a few moments to let it all soak in for him before I took in some more air.
"And that's what happens when you fall out of the loop."
