"Yes. I actually want to know how you recognized me. I might think you're weird, but then, isn't everyone?" Kiri turned to the other girl. "Oh, and this is...?"

Fletcher took a deep breath. "I recognised your breath and, well... the way the air moved around you," he admitted.

"That makes sense. You control air, right?"
"Well, yeah," Fletcher admitted.

When Fletcher awoke in the middle of the night, his hands were curled into tight fists and his arms and legs were twitching slightly. His muscles were coiled so tightly with energy, that it felt like they were about to implode. Fletcher got up and walked over to the window. He opened it and leaned a little ways outside.

Anderes hadn't come. Kiri climbed onto her bed and fell asleep.

shadows crept towards her, coming closer. Kiri ran, hard, as fast as she could. Her power was useless with the shadows. Through leafy branches and sword sharp thorns, she ran. Her shoes had fallen off a while ago. She slowed, thinking they were gone, slowed to a walk. As she goes, a black, translucent hand grabs her. Kiri shrieks, as more of them come. She cannot escape, and she screams.

Right before he his about to leap from the window, Fletcher hears someone scream. He goes and knocks on the door to the room the girls are sleeping in.

Styler: I woke up... What? It was too early for screaming... I sighed... I got out of my room... Right...

Ruby: I woke up and looked around. I had perfect vision in darkness... My dream weird but then again they always are...

Kiri sat up. She was panting. Where are they? she thought. Then she realized where she was. Panic still bubbled through her veins, and she lied back down on her bed. Nothing was there. The shadows. They weren't there. She just had to remember that. She swung her legs over the side of her bed and sat there. She still shook.

Fletcher listened, the screaming had stopped. He walked back to his room and over to the window. A light breeze ruffled his air. He smiled and prepared to vault out. He surveyed the security. A few dorm security guards, but that was it. This would be too easy. He leapt out of the window right past the window that looked into the girl's bedroom.

Ruby: I got out of bed, "Y'right?" I asked, holding her, my healing touch should help...

[OpenTheDoor]

Styler: I stuck my head out of the window; this didn't concern me... I saw the new boy walk across the walls... Two can play at that game... I ran across the walls too and landed in the room.

"I- I think so." Kiri's shakes subsided, and she folded up her legs. "What're you doing here?"

Fletcher used a gust of air to propel himself away from the school and into the rest of the city. That had been almost too easy. He felt his muscles loosen as the energy was released. He silently somersaulted from rooftop to rooftop.

"To comfort you... I'm from next door..." I whispered, rubbing her arm...

Kiri nodded, and drifted back off to sleep, this time, dreamless.

Ruby: I sighed and walked back out or at least started to... I saw that black dressed boy jumped through the window. I looked at him... "What?" I asked, pointing to the sleeping girl.

Styler: "Just seeing what was happening is all..." I said vaguely. I knew how things got easily on her nerves... I clicked my fingers and a flame flickered. I loved my power...

(( well, in elementary school, that's what they called sitting down with your legs in um, a pretzel?))

Kiri faded in her sleep. She couldn't control her power when she slept. She came back to visibility, and her appearance continued changing.

(I just say cross-legged... I'm English so...)

Ruby: "That's weird..." I said pointing. She was changing colour.
Styler: "You can see that?" I asked, kinda amazed.
Ruby: "Yeah... I think I'm gonna stay here tonight... To make sure she doesn't kill herself..." I whispered. I smiled, waiting for him to leave.
Styler: I nodded in understandment and ran out... I jumped back into my bed and hit the deck...

Fletcher floated back towards the dorm. Now he might be able to get some sleep. When he passed the window to the girl's bedroom, he saw Kiri flickering in and out and changing appearance. He knocked softly on the glass.

Kiri started. What was that? The girl... she was still there. Fletcher. Fletcher was knocking on the glass of the dorm window. Her appearance quickly reverted to normal as she woke. "Why're you still here?" Kiri asked Ruby in a whisper.

Ruby: I opened the window, "Yeah what?" I asked him, he was floating... Show off. I looked at him. "She's alright now, I'm gonna stay with her to make sure she doesn't kill herself..."

(I gotta go. I'll hopefully be back on tomorrow! )

Ruby: I spun around, "Because you were changing colour in your sleep..." I whispered back.
