Falyn-- "Thank you, Kiri!" I said, slapping her lightly on the back. "You can't do that! When I signed up for this school, it didn't say it was co-ed." I jumped up from the chair and leaned over the desk, my face now in Mrs. Jones' face.

Mrs. Jones smiled. "Ah. So refreshing, the outrage of young ones. Anyway, two rooms, with one shared wall. In one, Falyn, Kiri, and Aderes, another new student, and yes," she said at Kiri and Falyn's looks, "Anderes is a girl. Fletcher, we so far have found you odd one out, so until another male student comes along,(until someone joins this C.C as a male) you will have your own dorm-room. I do apologize for your confusion." Mrs. Jones didn't look very sorry, only rather amused.
Kiri now stood up, and left the room. She didn't look behind her, but knew that Falyn and Fletcher would have stormed out too. What a joke! The principal let them believe they were stuck in the same dorm as a guy!

Falyn-- Ugh! How did that principal get off being like that? I guess the shared wall wouldn't be so bad. I still didn't like sharing a room with two girls either. If one of them walked in on me at the wrong second, things could get ugly, and fast. "Kiri, wait up!" I shouted after her. I also threw my cancellation orb around her so she wouldn't be able to disappear on me.

Kiri waited for Falyn to catch up, then started walking again. "So, why're you here?"

Falyn-- I dropped my cancellation orb from around her and slowed down to a walk. "I don't know, really. All I know is I woke up in the hospital a week ago and the sign-up sheet for this school was on my bedside table and all the info was filled out." I cracked my fingers. "I figured the best way to figure out my past was to come here."

"Actually, I mean, what can you do?" Kiri wondered exactly who this girl had been. Who Falyn had been. "This is supposed to be a school for people with 'gifts' so I assumed you had something to make want to come here." Falyn had fallen into step with Kiri, and she hesitated.

Falyn-- "Oh, well I can control all aspects of water and I can cancel the powers of others." Kiri fell back a couple of steps and Falyn slowed down so she could catch up.

Kiri stopped. "Would I know if I couldn't use my power, without trying to use it?"
"Probably not. I'm not certain. By the way, what is your power?" Falyn looked at her.
Kiri hesitated. Falyn noticed. "I can change my appearance. I can go so far as to look like a human-animal, or even to invisibility." Kiri watched Falyn, and slowly faded in and out of visibility. "See?"

Fletcher followed Kiri and Falyn. Even with the wall, it was still technically a co-ed dorm. At least he had a room to himself. He hoped there was a window in his room and campus security was low. He might be able to out under the open sky again.

"I suppose as long as we're being honest about our 'gifts'," Fletcher said, "I am extremely agile and have some control over air."

"Hah." Kiri barked. "I knew it. Something more than just 'really agile.' Knew it. So how exactly was it that you recognized me, again?" Kiri stopped in front of two twin doors, each one a brownish red. Above one was the number 6301a. The other was 6301b.
"So, which one do you think is ours, and which one is Fletchers?"

Falyn-- "I think we should get the bigger room, don't you, Kiri?" I asked, linking my arm with hers. She stiffened, but then nodded. I poked Fletcher in the chest and he moved aside.

The room was bare, one bunk bed and one twin bed, and not much else. The beds only had mattresses on them: no sheets or covers or pillows.

Falyn-- My arms dropped down to my sides and my eyes squinted closed. "You know," Fletcher said, coming up behind us and placing a hand on each of our shoulders, "turn your head to the side, close one eye, and then close the other eye, it doesn't look too bad." He smiled at us, but I just rolled my eyes and threw my backpack onto the single bed. "Sorry, Kiri, but I'm a loner."

"I'll take the top then. The other one, Anderes, will have to get the bottom." Kiri slung her pack up on the bed, then climbed up the ladder and sat on the edge of the bed. "Well, it's better than most," She said.

Appearance-- Dark brown hair hangs over his eyes as a cigarette blows smoke into your face. His bright green eyes hide years of untold lies and pain that he's endured. He's very well muscled from having to be able to fight at a seconds notice.
Bio-- His dad was very abusive, and Braylen took that pain and suffering until he ran away at age 12. He discovered his powers in back alleyways and abandoned buildings. He has come to perfect those two powers. He falls in love really easily.
Powers--Dream Walker(He can walk through and control people's dreams) and Darkness Manipulation(Can control shadows, and even the darkness in peoples minds, hearts, etc.)

Fletcher went into his room. It was extremely sparse. A dresser, a bed frame, and a mattress, that was all. At least there was a window. He opened it and sat on the sill. He would have fun tonight...
