((hey, um, i have to go at about 3:30, and I won't be back for a couple days, I'm going on a rafting trip to Wisconsin, so I won't be able to chat until about Sunday))

Falyn-- I rubbed my eyes sleepily as I tried to sit up in my bed. "What's going on?" I asked when I saw a strange girl in our room.

Braylen-- I ran down the hall, my guitar under my arm, and a cigarette sticking out of my mouth as I silently cursed myself for missing orientation. I stopped in front of a door and fumbled around in my pockets for a key. Giving up, I knocked on the door.

((Styler opens the door, I just forgot what room number they had...))

((girl's room- 6301a, Fletcher's- 6301b))

Kiri woke up. Again. This time, nothing had caused it. "Hey, you want some cocoa?" It was Ruby. Kiri shook her head, and faded from the girl's sight. Something had to be wrong. She looked out the window. Second story. She couldn't leave from here. Kiri opened the door softly, without a sound, and slipped from the room. No one was in the hallway. No one would be, at... 2:34 AM. Kiri found the stairwell, and went downstairs. Hopefully the staff was asleep. ugh. Mrs. Jones. The freak. Kiri left through one of the side doors. No alarms blared or anything, and she took off into the night, her bare feet slapping the dirt. She had to get away for a few more days. Then she'd come back. She needed to be alone. And she needed to stay hidden. Kiri turned a corner, and the school vanished from her sight. It would take awhile for anyone to know she was gone.

Styler: I opened the door, "Yeah?" I asked. Please don't say I have to share with him...

Ruby: "You alright?" I asked. I made myself some cocoa... "Don't ask where I got it from, just that the girls on the other side of me said that they owed me and they're having a sleep-over tonight... I sipped the cocoa and almost choked on a marshmallow...

Ruby: I sighed and sipped my cocoa... I looked around then I gave up and walked around the building. I walked around sipping my drink. Then I bumped into him, causing my cocoa to spill on me and him. "I'm sorry..." we said together... It was Styler.

Styler: "Sorry..." I went to the dorms and got some towels. I past one to her. I started to wipe the stain, hoping that it would stay...

Ruby: "Thanks..." I smiled, then the light turned on... Mr Harper... Phew, he doesn't mind us...

Mr Harper: "What are you two doing up?" I looked at them, why did Ruby have cocoa, "Amber's party?" I asked and she nodded. "I won't say anything..." I answered winking and she smiled. "Styler, get to bed." I pointed to the door and smiled.

Braylen-- "Uhm. This is the room I was assigned to," I said, chewing on my bottom lip a bit.

Falyn-- "Where's Kiri?" I asked the girl who was drinking the hot cocoa. I rubbed my eyes again and stretched my arms over my head.

But why wait? Kiri changed. something light, something agile. Squirrel. She felt herself shrinking. A really large, humanesque squirrel. She almost laughed as she moved over the ground on the larger tree branches. Quickly, the school fell further behind her.

Fletcher watched from the school rooftop as Kiri ran away. He didn't blame her, this school was just messed up. He decided to go visist the "Student Relations" office, which was open 24/7. He had a very pressing question to ask.

Fletcher walked to the office. A sort of dumpy old woman sat at a desk. The nameplate on her desk read: Mrs. Levowitz. Fletcher, in a fake polite voice, asked, "I was wondering, is it too late to decline the scholorship I was offered and just go back home?" Translation: I don't want your poor, homeless kid sympathy. I want out of this stupid school. I want to go back to the city.
Mrs. Levowitz looked at him. "That is a question for Mrs. Jones, dear. You'd better be off to bed now."

Ruby: I watched Kiri run away and sighed. I wish I got out of here... I flung myself on my bed and heard a tap on the window. I opened it but before I could see, Styler ran in. Startled, I leapt back.
Styler: "You alright?" I asked smiling. She didn't share a room thank God... I walked along and picked up a necklace, one that I noticed she always wore...
Ruby: "Get off that!" I hissed and used my telekinesis to bring it to me. I grabbed it out of the air. "What do you want?" I asked, looking up from my mother's necklace.
Styler: "To talk..." I answered vaguely...

Braylen-- As soon as I had mentioned that I shared the room with him, that Styler kid had bolted for the door. It was all good though, I thought, throwing down my guitar and dirty knapsack on the closet bed, this room is too big for the two of us.

Braylen-- I sighed. He was back. "Do we have any other roommates, or is it just us two?" I asked, starting to peel off my black t-shirt. His face wrinkled up in confusion. I always took off my shirt, though. I wasn't going to stop now just because I was at some fancy-shmancy school with some fancy-shmancy boy. It made me more comfortable.

Braylen-- "Light me up," I said, taking notice to the fire and shoving my cigarette in his direction. "Hmm. I can walk through and control people's dreams and I can manipulate darkness, even the darkness in people's minds and I can turn that into raw energy. They're not really cool, but they work in a fight."
