Sora was looking for Kairi when a tiny puppy came up and was pulling on his pants leg, barking. "What is it, fella?" The dog yelped and took off running. "Hey!" Sora cried, following it.

Roxas went and got him a seasalt ice cream and continued walking around.

Naminè was walking around before recognizing a certain spiky haired boy. "Roxas! " she called out, running towards him. She was cut off however by a black portal on the ground appearing.

Kairi got up as she picked up Oblivion and turned to slash; however, this didn't work out the way she had hoped for. Maleficent's hand closed around her neck and lifted Kairi with ease. She dropped Oblivion and gripped her wrist, struggling to breathe. "That insolent boy was here to rescue you before; now, I'll be able to get your heart....!!!" Her other hand suddenly sunk into Kairi's chest, searching for her prize. Kairi screamed bloody murder from the pain.

The small puppy increased its speed before bursting through the doors of the second district.

Sora followed and gasped at the scene playing out before his eyes. "Maleficent!" He cried, summoning Kingdom Key.

Roxas looked up and smiled. "Hey, Namine!"

Naminè looked down at the portal with wide, confused and now pained eyes as she fell to her knees, gripping her chest. She cried in pain, knowing that something was happening to Kairi.

The puppy barked angrily and charged, nipping at her ankles before running off with the Heartless following him.

Maleficent looked at Sora with a murderous glint in her eyes. Kairi was currently unconcious, her hands letting go of Maleficent's wrist. She looked to the unconcious girl and smirked. She pulled her hand out and she was screaming once again. Maleficent let go of the heart before pulling her hand out and throwing Kairi away like she was a rag doll.

"No!" Sora cried, lunging for Maleficent.

Roxas Ran towards her around the portal, croushing beside her.

Naminè suddenly collapsed into Roxas, gasping for air.

Maleficent grinned before disappearing in a flash of fire. The heartless seemed to go with her.

Sora landed on the ground with a groan before walking over to Kairi. "Kairi..." He said, scooping her up.

Roxas caught her, staring with worry.

Naminè lay unconscious against him.

Kairi's head rested against his shoulder for just a moment before she completely fell limp. The way her neck was exposed, showed very faint bruising which would get worse over time. She let out a soft groan, her brow furrowing. "Sora.....?"

Roxas felt panic rising in his throat. He had to find Sora.

Sora just held her. "I'm here. I'm here, Kairi."

Frosty blue eyes fluttered open as she then looked up at Sora. All she could do was look into his eyes while tears filled her own. Finally she spoke with such happiness in her voice. "Sora! " she threw her arms around him, crying into his neck.

Naminè weakly opened her eyes.

Sora put his arms around her. How was Kairi still awake? He's seen Maleficent take her heart. But he wasn't going to question it.

Roxas stared back at her with worry.

Lacie stumbled through the trees in panic.

Kairi pulled away, knowing there was something wrong. With him but also her. Kairi placed her hand on her chest where her heart would be. "How.....?" She asked herself, almost forgetting that Sora was there. She looked at the small puppy, barking and wagging his tail. She smiled at the small pup, scratching him behind his ear lightly. "Thanks little fella..." She then added to herself:

Thank you for reuniting us....

Sora put on a smile and laughed, standing and helping Kairi p. He didn't know how, but he was glad it happened. "We need to find the others, now."

Kairi staggered a bit, one arm holding her stomach. She winced in slight pain before looking around, hearing voices whispering. She hissed in pain, putting her hand to her head. There was a light ringing.

Naminè looked away from Roxas as she heard the voice coming from the portal. She slowly stood and peered down into it, seeing Kairi and Sora.

Sora looked at Kairi. "You alright, Kairi?"

Naminè nodded, brushing her hand against his lightly.

Roxas looked at her then ran through to Traverse to, now standing before Sora and Kairi.

Sora frowned deeply and held her.

Roxas touched Sora's shoulder and looked at Kairi.

Kairi blinked the tears away and stepped back. Though she swayed a little bit, she looked better at least. She looked at Roxas, then Naminè, finally at Sora. "I still can't get over the fact that...our home is...," her hand went over her mouth as she started to tremble. Her eyes closed tightly as she saw it happen all over again in her mind.

Kairi shrugged him off, slowly starting to back away from them. "No...no. This isn't real. None of this is real....I'm just dreaming...!!" she yelled, shaking her head as she cried.
