Kairi laid on the shore, her eyes closed and the sun beating down on her. The memories of this beach and the people residing on it played within her head. Occasionally a few tears would drip down her cheeks from the pain of losing her two closest friends more than once and too close for comfort. She let a sigh whisper past her light pink lips as she sat up, drawing her knees to her chest. Light blue eyes watched the rising sun, the wind blowing some loose strands of hair into her face. A few minutes more and she pushed herself up to a standing position. She brushed the sand off her legs before stretching and wiping her tears away. Her hands went to her backside and clasped together. "One day...maybe I'll travel to another world also..." she spoke to herself, smiling softly as she then closed her eyes, letting her senses take over.

Sora stood on the beach summoning and banishing his kingdom key.

[Cali]

Kairi looked to Sora with a thoughtful look on her face. She simply watched as he summoned and banished the Kingdom Key with ease. "Sora...?" She asked softly, not wanting to disturb the keyblade master but needing to ask the question that repeated itself in a whispery voice.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora looked up in a half daze before looking at Kairi and plastering that trademark grin on his face. "Oh, Kairi! What's up?"

[Cali]

Kairi blinked then smiled that soft smile of hers. For a moment, she forgot that quest bit then remembered as she snapped out of her daze. "I was just wondering...how do you summon a Keyblade so easily? Or at all?" She had a look of wonder and awe swimming in her eyes.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora furrowed his brow as if thinking of a way to explain it. "Well..." he began. "You gotta believe it. You gotta believe you can do it, but you don't think about it. You just...feel it."

[Cali]

Kairi cocked her head in question. "Just...feel it...and it appears?" she asked, like a small child. She sat down again, legs crossed as she watched the sun rise again. "It's almost unreal when you think about all of the things we've gone through...that you've gone through..."

[Unabound Justice]

Sora sat beside her, legs bent out in front of him. "Yeah. Sometimes...I just have to make sure any of this is real or not. It just doesn't feel like it all could've happened."

[Cali]

Kairi nodded and hugged her knees, resting her chin and sighing. "I wish that I could have been there for you...not being helpless as I am..." she looked up at the sky as a tear fell.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora looked at her. "What? Kairi, you're not helpless! Without you, we'd have all given up a long time ago! You keep us going."

[Cali]

Kairi sighed sadly and looked up at Sora. "Teach me how to fight," she said with a sad tone.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora's brow furrowed but he could tell this was important to Kairi. "Alright, Kairi. I'll teach you how to fight."

[Cali]

Kairi faint smiled and stood. She held her hand out, "Well, what are you waiting for?"

[Unabound Justice]

Sora stood up and nodded. "We'll start with the wood swords and work our way up."

[Cali]

Kairi could only smile at the thought of that. "Alright," she murmured.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora laughed. "Race ya up there!" He yelled, taking off.

[Cali]

"Sora!" She yelled and chased after him, the biggest and brightest smile on her face. She easily caught up to him but getting past him was a tiny issue. Her eyes wandered towards him for just a moment and all she could do was think of the good times they've had. She then looked ahead of her, thinking of a game plan for this race. She was usually the referee; not, it was her turn.

Sora laughed and tried to speed up.

[Cali]

Kairi still kept up, her arms pumping at her sides. Her smile stayed as she then ran a little bit faster, closing her eyes. She knew the route by the back of her hand, having ran it every night since she was fourteen. She ran it over and over until she didn't have to rely on Riku or Sora.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora laughed at the look on Kairi's face and once they ended their race on the other side of the island, Sora was doubled over, breathless.

[Cali]

Kairi slowed to a stop, doubling over before lowering to her knees. She looked at Sora, giggling. "You alright?" She asked with a playful smirk plastered on her mature yet innocent features.

[Unabound Justice]

Sora nodded and stood up. "Yeah!"

[Cali]

Kairi smiled and stood, brushing the sand off. "So, when do we start the training?"

[Unabound Justice]

Sora grinned at her eagerness. "How about now?" He said, picking up the two old wooden swords he and Riku used to work with. (I can get my bff Mara to be Riku. Saiga is Mara)

[Cali]

Kairi nodded and smiled, "now sounds good." She was nervous yes but she wasn't easily intimitaded.
