Scotia: "Got it." I salute her lazily and glance at the money in my purse. I hope i have enough. Or at least enough to get the gauze. I have a feeling that i'm gonna need a lot of that.

Talen: I rushed of to my room and found a suit, black silk. I combed my hair and put on a dark red tie. I came back out to Val. "Am I acceptable enough?" I asked, not wanting to go change again.

Val: After Talen had left I had quickly done up my hair in an elegant, but purposefully mussed bun. Yes, even I know about those tricks. A few strands of dark hair fell in my face. "It'll do," I said flatly.

Scotia: I watch the ship take off for the ball before starting my walk into the city. Once I'm at the med center, I stop and scan my badge, crossing my fingers and letting out a breath when it flashes green and lets me in. The woman at the counter greets me warmly and i head off to the store around the corner. I get two packages of gauze, a few more syringes of adrenaline and some of ibuprofen. Then i went back for more gauze and some more disinfectant.

Scotia: i carry the bags out and hope to go for a little window shopping, maybe even some real shopping. I did need a new on-board wardrobe. I hadn't really planned to stay this long, but i was enjoying it. I stop in front of a window with a model of a group of young adults showing off normal clothes you'd wear around the house. Nice white blouse...and jeans would be nice... i think to myself thoughtfully. I'm about to keep moving when a voice behind me makes me jump.

Talen: I stared at Val, but this time I had remebered to close my mouth. I frowned when she dismissed my outfit.

Val: I walked off and parked the ship at one of the hangers near the center of Osiris. "Come on," I said to Talen as I walked off the ship. I headed towards the main hall, but was intercepted by a stout fellow in an overcoat.
"Val Shay?" he asked.
"Sean's man?" He grinned and slipped the invites into my hand. I looked over at Talen.

Scotia: I whip around, my heart beating fast. It was just a man. Nothing scary. He smiles down at me.
"Hello."
"Hi."
He steps toward me, "So--"
"What do you want?" It just kinda pops out of my mouth.
He frowns slightly. "Actually, I was just looking for clients."
"Clients...?"
He sighs, looking away from me. "I'm an Ambassador...Companion..?"
Oh yeah. My sister was a client many times. I don't really know what was exchanged between Client and Companion, and i'd probably never know.
"Really? The captain of my ship has been looking or work."
He raises an eyebrow.
"Do you know Valorie--"
He laughs. "Yes, actually I do. She put me into a coma once. Just a week," He adds with a wink. I nod slowly.
"Ok.."
"I don't think she's going to be asking work from me."
"Why not?"
"Let's just say Val isn't looking for that type of work."

Scotia: I learned that his name was Malachi. And he seemed ok. Maybe a little talkative for my taste, but ok.
"Do you need a ride anywhere? I could--"
"No, i'm supposed to meet Val and the ship up on the med center roof pretty soon." I hide the shiver that racks my body and continue walking, just a pace faster, towards the med center.
"Really?" he thinks for a moment. "I think I'll see you later, Scotia." He smiles calmly at me and hurries away.
"Oh, um ok." i wonder where he's going. but i head up onto the roof to wait out for Val

Malachi: I flip a few switches and search for Val's ship's wavelength. It'd been awhile since i'd docked on another ship and a break in space sounded good. I waited for her to pick up on it. Probably Angel...or maybe even the lady would grace me with her presence. I smirk to myself.

he was calling for the ship so he could ask Val if he could dock on her ship and travel with them ^^

but since val isn't on the ship can we say she is carrying a mini wave length-er (like a radio) on her and can talk to him that way


Val: A vibration ran up my leg. Okay then. I slipped into the alley way and pulled the radio off my leg. It was connected back to the ship's wave length. Somebody was calling the ship. Yes, Val, you are a genius. "What?" I asked. It was probably Sean.
Or not.
Malachi's face smirked up at me. Oh goodie.

Malachi: "Hey, long time no see, Val." I laugh as she rolls her eyes. "I was just wondering if you would let me dock on your ship and travel with you. I met your doctor already...charming girl." I chuckle to myself. "anyway, would you mind a visit?"

Val: Yes, I would mind. I didn't like Companions on principle but there was somehthing about Malachi that I found especially displeasing. But I needed someone with reputation on my boat. "Go right ahead. Just do me a favor and don't touch anything. Just sit in the shuttle."

Malachi: I rest my finger on the switch, "Got it," I flick the radio off and smile to myself. "Now i get to travel the 'verse."

(my mom is forcing me to go on a walk, so bye bye -_-)
