Sakura waved it off as if it was nothing.

Ayumi melted into his touch, eyelashes fluttering in peace. She hadn't felt this safe and happy and at peace in years.

Nite turned back to the show.

Sai's finger's roamed Ayumi's body gently, making themselfs familiar again.

Ayumi shivered, roaming her fingers across his chest, neck, shoulders, and back as she tried to remember. One of his hands brushed a scar on her back and she suddenly stopped kissing to pull away and whimper as the memory behind that scar intruded her mind.

Sakura's eyes was glued to the TV, watching the show intently. When it became a commercial, it left her with a cliffhanger. "WHAT?! Wait, what?!" she yelled, eyes wide. (you can make it what ever part it was. i've never seen the show :/ )

Nite just rolled her eyes at him Sakura. "it'll be back on in fave minutes."

Sai hugged her again, moving his hand away from the scar. "It's alright, Ayumi." I assured her softly.

Sakura grumbled something as to 'It better tell me what the hell just happened.'

Ayumi cried out as she felt the pain and the feeling of the knife gliding across her skin. She trembled as her legs gave out. She was too deep in her memories to know where reality and memory was.

Nite sighed. "Ainosuke just found his brother and is trying to stop him, shoots the bodyguard but his brother actually got shot."

Sai picked her up, cradling her against his chest.

"Holy shit!" Sakura muttered, eyes widening. "But wait, how did his brother get shot if it was the bodyguard he shot at?"

Ayumi spasmed as another cry of pain left her.

"Because the bodyguard dodged the bullet and his brother was in the line of fire."

Sai just held her as she sacreamed, carrying her back to his house instead of the alleyway.

Ayumi's hands clenched around his shirt. "S-Sai," she whispered as her eyes weakly opened and gazed up at him.

Ayumi nodded. "Can we sleep before we go?" she asked like a little kid as she yawned, exhausted from the day's events.

Nite rolled her eyes. "On the up side, at least he got his brother's forgivness before he died, besides the sseries isn't over yet. He may come back again. He's died twice."

Sai entered the house and carried Ayumi up to bed and layed her down gently underneath the covers.

Ayumi opened her eyes halfway, looking up at him. She smiled sleepily at him as she curled up like a cat.

Ayumi slowly drifted to sleep. Sakura noticed her phone ringing. The caller ID was a certain blonde haired hokage. "Shit, I knew I was forgetting something." she muttered as she got up and answered with a tired "Hello?"

Sakura stepped outside, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm over at Sasuke's and Nite's. I meant to call you..." she knew how upset he was. "I'm sorry, Naruto-kun." her voice sounded small.
