"Seot! Your fiance's here!" she called up the stairs to her son.

"Coming!" He called, coming down the stairs and smiling at the white-haired boy in the door way.

"Satoshi, you know the rules. Not being out past midnight on nights before a mission. Otherwise, curfew is 2 a.m. Bye have fun!"

"Bye mom, bye dad!" he called, walking out. It'd been a shock at first when the two parents had found out he was gay, by walking in and seeing him on the couch wit another boy, kissing him. Nite shut the door with a soft click and hummed. But they'd been okay with it. It was his life and they loved him any way.

Sasuke chuckled at the memory. "Yeah," deep inside, Sasuke felt sick at the thought of his son growing up. Four years of his life he missed, he never got to witness it.

Nite smiled up at him, wrapping her arms around him. "I was just thinking of where Mitsuki is right now..." she sighed. Mitsuki was their 14-year old daughter who was already going on solo missions. Today was one such day. The child was a wild flowed seed, floating wheverever the wind took her, never setting down roots. "Wo sends a little girl on an s-rank mission?"

(I was think both coupled have a kid and NaruSaku's kid loves Mitsuki and SaiAyu's only son was just killed in an attack and their daughter is depressed and it's all sadness or it can be the other way around.)
Nite nodded. "But can we say anything, really? I mean, I joined anbu at age 11."

Sasuke nodded, "I know but...It's different now," he sighed then shook his head.

Ayumi sat on the couch in the living room, teardrops falling on a picture that contained Sai, a girl that looked to be about eight, a teenager to be about fiftheen and herself. Her thumb brushed against the teenage boy's face in the picture as she sniffled sadly.

Sakura walked through the door after a long day of work to be greeted by Natsume. She smiled at her son. "Hi, Mom," he spoke simply and she nodded.

Nite nodded. "I know, the world's more dangerous now. Not any large criminals like Orochimaru but too many small ones."

Sai came and sat beside her, hugging her softly, holding back his own tears of loss.

Naruto walked in a few minutes later, hanging his hokage shirt by the door.

Ayumi let the picture fall on the carpet with a soft thud as she trembled with the memory of hearing their son had been killed. Her hands clenched tightly as she buried her face into his chest.

Sakura looked up at him with a smile, "How was your day?" she asked.

Sasuke nodded. "I know. I can't help but worry...you know?"

Ayumi pulled away, hiccuping and sniffling.

"It's not gonna be easy. In a few months it's Seto then in a few years it'll be Mitsuki..." he sighed.. Ayumi wrapped her arms around his core, sniffling. Dark circles and bags under her eyes marred her face, mixing with pain, worry, and regret. "Mommy?" She turned her head to look at their 8 year old daughter, Yuuki, watching them with wide watery black eyes.

Nite nodded. "But in a few years, when mistuki gets married, we'll have grandkids to spoil and we can send them back to her after we spoil them so we don't have to hear the screaming and fits."

Sai looked up at Yuuki, a few tears tinging his cheeks pink. "What is it, sweetie?"
