Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
I raised a brow, "Don't ever say that again."
Fighting off the shivers, I started sorting through the clothes in my closet, figuring out what would fit her.
"Any colours that you want to avoid or should I just go for what I think, eh?" I smirked, taking out a few things, "and make yourself useful and go grab the orange bag on the side on top of there."
Lazily, I waved to the small bags of make-up on the side, hoping that I remembered the right colour... It was orange or silver at least.
As I dropped the clothes onto the bed, I picked a cute pair of shorts. I looked over to Molly and pondered again for a moment.
"Can you make your eyes stay one colour or does it change randomly?"

Molly: "I think maybe according to my mood...." I felt them tingle again slowly growing a bit bored. "But remember, only you and I can see them like this, although we can have flashes of the ordinary color it usually just the rainbow stuff." I sighed and raised my eyebrows.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
I just nodded before looking at the tee that she was wearing; it suited her, better than how it looked on me most probably.
"Here," I tossed her the shorts with a smile, "What shoe size are you? You're not wearing those with 'em."
I looked down to her feet only to raise a brow at them. Looking back to her face, it was obvious what I thought about them. Then I felt something brush against my ankle.
"Dilly! How are you, eh?!" I shrieked, picking up the ginger tabby, "Where have you been then? Meeting your female companion, I bet... Oh Dil-Dil, you remember Moley!"
With that, the cat was like a snake; hissing it's hind tail off. I loved him despite the fact that he was fat and hated everyone and everything minus family, but it was a kind of ritual for him to attack Molly nowadays, so I had to get him to do that... Okay, it's just because I'm evil.

Molly: I sighed and looked at her. "Size six, and you don't have to be evil," I showed her all the scars on my forearms, "this is what comes from it!" I sighed again.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Did mind reading come along with the freaky eye colour?" I giggled, taking Dilly outside the door before slamming it in his whiskered face.
Walking to the back of my room, I was still waiting for Molly to pick up the orange bag; her mind wandered too much.
"Aha!" I smiled, picking up a pair of Dunlops, "Should do."
Also grabbing a light-weight coat, I walked back to the bed and put the things onto the bed.
"Get the silver bag too and I'll go grab us some drinks. What do you want?"

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I smiled. "Sprite and apple juice please... Don't put rum in it like last time! That really didn't end well." I said with a grimace, me walking around her house completely drunk then vomiting in her toilet. I got up and grabbed the bags then laid back down on her bed.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"We have no Sprite: 7-up was on offer," I smirked, "and we're out of rum anyway; we watched Pirates of the Carribean last night."
That was a joke anyhoo, but she wouldn't get it unless she honestly could read minds now.
I ran down the stairs, skipping around Angie and Dilly playing with a toy mouse...why was Angie dressed up as a cat? Oh well, she's thirteen and acts like a five year old aka her shoe size.
"We've locked the spirits cupboard."
Oli stood in the kitchen with a tray of cookies. Sighing, I walked to the fridge and picked up the carton of juice and bottle of 7-up, ignoring my brother's comment.
"Whatever," I muttered, "Have we got any grape left?"
"Yeah," he nodded, pushing the carton along the side, "Just don't take it all."
"Fine," I shrugged, "but why is Angie dressed up as a cat?"
"Party; you have to go as an animal apparently and Mom made that from scratch. I doubt that somehow..."
That was always something that Mom has always done: lies and false promises. She probably just told Ang that she made it after telling her that she would.
"Anyway, I'll see you late-"
"What are you doing up there by the way?"
He blocked the door to prevent me from leaving the kitchen with my tray of drinks and freshly-baked cookies.
"I'm sorting out her clothes and then probably do her make-up... Why?"
"Just curious... But I thought that you didn't wear it anymore? What happened to that?"
I gulped slightly, "I don't, but I think I kinda owe Molly for today; something happened that I want to make-up for."
Then, when I thought he was going to ask what like usual, he just let me past. Turning into the living room, I heard a squeal and a hiss before a flood of muttered cuss words.
"Have fun!" I called before going up the stairs with the tray.
It was then I realised: I was the only normal one in my family...also I was still wearing my soaking clothes.

Molly: I laughed at her rum comment but sighed. "7-up please then!" I yelled, I looked around for an outfit for her. When I found a cute pair of skinnies and a t-shirt I had to smile, it was so Robin it practically screamed.

Oli is 21 and Angie is 11 though she acts like her shoe size
"I've got it," I smirked, kicking down the door, "Now, you're in the Winnie the Pooh cup. Sorry, the dishwasher is like ten minutes from finishing and until then we have to use the back-ups. You don't mind, do you?"
As I asked, I took a sip of the grape juice from a Buzz Lightyear cup; Oli's old one. Setting it down, I smirked at the outfit on the bed. The skinnies were fine being indigo though rather worn but the shirt...? I wasn't sure.
"May I add to this?" but I was in the cupboards before she could say anything. I knew what I was looking for anyway, "Here we are!"
It was just a little scarf thing that I used to wear to add to boring outfits. Just a simple grey skull thing going on.
"Now-- Oh! It was the silver bag!"
I quickly picked it up from the side, smiling as I looked inside; that was it.
"Go get changed whilst I sort this out, eh? It's been a long time since I've used sinister things like these."
I pulled out my eyelash curlers before opening up a different bag to throw them into it; it was in the wrong bag anyway, plus it was pretty darn full.
Smiling up to Molly, I put the bag down on my bed to pick up a cookie. Still warm cookies: if I were Homer, I would be completely one of his many trademarks.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
up at three am again?
I looked at her in mock fear and walked to the bathroom and changed. after a few moments I stared into the mirror at my eyes and whispered "Off,". They looked the same kaliediscope to me but probably different to everyone else, I just sighed and walked out. I turned back remembering that I left the clothes in and I turned back only to come face to face with Angie, from the look on her face I assumed she saw my eyes.
"Crap.." I whispered.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
What time is it where you are? At the moment for me it's 17:50 aka I'M FROM THE FUTURE!!!!!
"Oooo! Where did you get them from, meow?" Angie asked, pointing to her eyes, almost prodding them out, "And what are you doing anyway?!"
The little girl began rocking on the balls of her feet, back and forth sweetly, tucking her hands behind her. She was still dressed as a cat, a ginger tabby much like Dilly.
"Angie! What are you doing?"
"Mom said that when she got home that she would give me whiskers but I have to go soon because Wally's taking me and she isn't here. I was going to do it myself!"
In her hand was Mom's bag of best make-up, the kind that rarely used nowadays.
"Angie, give me the bag, Mom wouldn't want you to use that, eh? Look, go to your room and I'll quickly do it for you if you move out the way so that Molly can get chang--"
"I like what she's wearing, plus the eyes are cool."
If I had any water in my mouth I would have sprayed it out...or grape and 7-up. Lowering to her height, I looked into her eyes.
"Ang, you be a favour, okay? Do not mention those because it's a surprise..." I winked.
"Surprise for what?!" she shouted in my ear.
Umm... I thought for a moment, "That's the surprise...?"
There was a long silence while she pondered on the fact. I just bit my lip, hoping, no, praying that she would fall for it.
"Okay!"
With that she ran into her room, dropping the small black on her way. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Right, go on. I'll be in my room in a bit and hopefully she won't squirm...like last time."
Groaning, I picked up the bag and into the room around the corner, dropping it on the table before into the Fairy's Lair that was my little sister's room.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
lol.... it's 9:52.....
Molly; I huffed out a huge breath and almost crumpled against the door, what a relief. I started to walk to her room, I just hoped that her I didn't walk into her brother- I hit a wall of something pretty hard. Looking up I noticed it was her brother. Damn. I looked down quickly and made it seem like I was bashful instead of afraid, or hoped I did.
"Oh, sorry...got to go..." I started to back up hoping he didn't care, praying he didn't care. I really needed to cover my eyes again.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Eight hours. Exactly.
"Why are you covering your eyes? Has Robin gotten rusty again?..." Oli smirked before walking into the bathroom, "Molly! There's some clothes still in here!"
He walked out holding the pile in his arms neatly, shaking his head. He just wondered why she just acted so peculiar around him...maybe he liked her? He didn't know.
Dropping the clothes into her arms, he walked into the bathroom again.
"Angie! Hold still if you want this done!"
"Ow! You're hurting me!"
I dropped my hands, the eye-liner in my grasp. I felt like pinning her down and then making her look like an idiot other than doing this...or just leaving her to do it, but then she'd just get it everywhere or something.
"Because you're struggling! Angie, just stay still or you won't look like a real cat!"
Crossing her arms, she frowned at me, her eyes darkening on me.
"Why isn't Mom here to do it?"
"She's at work."
"Well, call her to come here then..." my little sister muttered
"You know she can't, she's dealing with some investigation into some disappearance of teens..."
Angie just took a seat on her bed, "Make me look like Dilly then."
"If I did that then I'd need to stuff a cushion down your front to give you a tubby tummy, eh?"
Sitting down next to her, I began to tickle her as she doubled over with laughter; a little over the top in my opinion.
"Quit it!"
"I'm not doing anything!"
I actually wasn't; I had stopped tickling her for a while but she continued to giggle. With a sigh, I held her still as I pulled the end off of the eye-liner before giving her whiskers and trying to get her from moving.

Molly: I scurried off into the room where Robin was with my eyes down. I only ended up to run into a wall, I fell back giggling at my stupidity. I winced at my face and my back, they had really hard walls here, I giggled a bit more.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Yes Molly, those are walls."
Brushing off my hands, I walked out of the room, jumping over the fairy castle and unicorn toys; she was eleven? I pushed her out of the room, letting Angie stalk off somewhere else.
"And you're still not dressed?! Have you broke in the spirit's cabinet?"

Molly:"I hope not... God... my head.." I whimpered and took my hand back I stared at it for a moment realizing the red liquid on it was blood. I looked on the ground to see a shattered mirror and blood on it. "Damn..." I moaned. I hate my life...

You're 16, I'm 17... That's what you put on your charrie-profile thing at the start.
"Crud! Oli! Get here now!"
Within a flash, typically, Oli was standing in the door, looking at Molly's back with eyes wide open.
"Oh crap! I'll dial 911! Robbie! Go get the first aid in the bathroom! Angie! Go play with Dilly!"
"Okay!" Angie yelled, a little unsure by sounds of it, but she did do as she was told, unlike me.
"Fine," I muttered, jogging to the cupboard.
"Fine? I thought that she was your 'bestie'?"
"She is, it's just that I hurt my hip from falling into the water."
"When?"
"Yeah...long story, you wouldn't like it anyhoo," I shrugged before coming back with the kit, "Aren't you dialling?"
"Y-yeah..."
With that he ran off down the hall to the phone in the downstairs.
"You okay, then?" I asked, opening the kit, "Now, what can I do with a tiny plaster and a small pair of scissors?"
okay, see ya

Molly: I closed my eyes as lights started to flash. "I am seeing unicorns..." I moaned. I opened my eyes wide and looked at Robin a bit startled remeber my eyes. "W...what was that..spelly thingy?"
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"What spelly thing? The one that gets rid of the way-hey of your eyes?... Give me a tick."
I ran into my room again and picked up the book that I hadn't get opened really, but I still had a bookmark on where the book was... Healing wounds!
"Looks like this shall work!" I exclaimed, putting the book down, "Now all we need are... The spell and an eligibal person to read the spell... Could it be easier?"
I smiled at Molly before making her turn around, showing me the bloody back. Trying to wince at it, I looked at the words that were in there. Then realised something.
"It's not in English; it's in a weird language... It says here only one with 'The Sight' can read it... The Sight! Your eyes. Read this!"
I practically shoved it infront of her face, starting to hear Oli talking to someone on the phone and by the sounds of it, it wasn't 911... Okay...?
"Hurry up!"

Molly: I looked at it and squinted my eyes only to have them unfocus. "I..I can't, I can't read it my eyes won't focus it...Blood loss I think.." I closed my eyes suddely feeling dizzy. "Make it stop!" I whimpered feeling a nauseated.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"How can I?!"
Remember...
"Remember what?"
I looked to the book and then to the marker inside it... Hmm?
"This is looks like a pair of them 3D glasses!" I called before putting them on, "That's freaky."
The text now seemed to be in English. Whoa, 3D glasses have gone up a notch in purpose.
"Willios grah jung Uptown dreeses trump-i-low rhag... Sheba."
With that, the book seemed to glower along with Molly's back. I would have dropped it unless it had floated out of my hands.
"This is freaky... It should go on YouTube."

Molly: I immediatly felt sick but the throbbing of my head began to lessen, before it felt completely better I had to run to the bathroom. I vomited into the toilet several times and stopped only to feel worse than before. "Worse day ever..." I groaned my arms starting to shake.

I didn't know what to do, so I went downstairs to see Oli talking into the phone still.
"How is she?" he asked, dropping the phone, "Should I dial 911?"
"You didn't in the first place?"
"No, well, it wasn't... I dunno, something came over me not to so I didn't and called her home but no-one answered. Better off I guess. How is she?"
"Throwing up. I guess it was just the shock of it; blood loss too. Turns out no mirror was in her, happy days."
"Yeah? Good, well I'm going to drop Angie off then. Think that you can handle her?"
I nodded before kissing him on the semi-fuzzed cheek. Walking up the stairs, I realized I was still in my soaking clothes. Damn, this day was weird.

Molly: I groaned and hugged my sides rocking back and forth, I felt really sick. "ROBIN!" I screatched, I bet she got the spell wrong.... What was I saying? Magic wasn't real, it was simply something people used to explain unexplainable things. It what we used to calm our brains cause the human brain is in constant need to have an answer! I shook my head, logic faught with everything else... it was like every man for himself battle for the last cookie in the world.

Nice simile.
"Yeah?!" I called up, running up the stairs, "You better not have missed! My mom's coming home soon!"
Reaching the top, I saw her rocking back and forth with the pain. Beginning to bite my lip, I lowered myself to her eye-level and sighed.
"I think we should either dial 911 or the shop's number but I'm debating which."
