Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Nice simile.
"Yeah?!" I called up, running up the stairs, "You better not have missed! My mom's coming home soon!"
Reaching the top, I saw her rocking back and forth with the pain. Beginning to bite my lip, I lowered myself to her eye-level and sighed.
"I think we should either dial 911 or the shop's number but I'm debating which."

Thanks, I have a thing for similes.. btw can u reply to the gracling one?
Molly: As soon as she said the shop I looked at her with fear. "No...it's scary..." I whimpered, "By the way I think you said the spell wrong, and after today you owe me like big time."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
I owed her? I owed her?! What?! Since when?! I couldn't be bothered to argue though.
"What do you want then?" I muttered, "and the shop is the only way that you're going to get fixed if I did say the spell wrong. I doubt that Dr. Rogers would know what to do!"
Standing, I folded my arms in the rage. I was half-tempted to leave the house!... But then I remembered that this was my house and not hers.
"I'm gonna take you down there after I've got changed, okay? I don't want to have nuemonia."
With that, I walked out of Angie's room and into mine. Picking up the clothes that Molly picked up for me, I sighed as I realized that I had lost a bit of weight since then. Deciding to grab a belt and just doing it up a bit tighter, I walked into the room again, adusting the tribly I put on also.
"Come on."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I shakily stood feeling my stomach lurch. I swallowed back the bile and held my head in my hands. "Oh.....Not good...not good...." I groaned clutching my stomach. I looked at her in complete terror about the shop but after a deep breath and another lurch of the stomach I nodded my head.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"So, we can either take the bus but gain some pretty weird looks or we ride on Rusty."
Rusty was Oli's old scooter that got passed down to me. I loved him but, well, he made me look like an idiot and it needed a like of paint. It was amazing when we first got it, but now it's sleeping in the garage.
"Come on, I think we've got the helmets there too..."
I took her hand, my eyes looking into hers; despite me hating that past comment, I knew that we had greater things to think about other than me... I was being selfless? Whoa, that is magic.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: "Okay, but we're going to need to bring a bucket..." I urked slightly but took another deep breath, "Wait, what about your brother? Can't he drive us?" I asked hopefully. The last time I rode on Rusty I puked and that was without magical poison spells.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"He's driving Angie to her party...plus he doesn't trust me and I can't tell him about the shop. I'll give you a bucket...and the non-embarrassing helmet."
I started walking out of the room, pretty much yanking her through the door and down the stairs. Quickly, I unlocked the door and waved her through so that I could get that darn bucket.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I stumbled to the death trap known as rusty and tried to keep his image still as the world swirled around me. "We can do this the easy way, or the hard way." I said with a grim smile.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Calm down," I sighed, "It's just a scooter."
Chucking her the plain black helmet, I slipped on the one that was meant to be a joke: a rabbit one with ears included. It did make you seem like a fool, but it was alright.
"Anyway, alle-on!"
I sat on Rusty and slotted the key in, starting up the engine; it had been a long time since I've last been on this thing.

Molly: I got in behind her and wrapped my arms around her. I grinned for a moment remember the joke that she always laughed at. "Hey hotstuff, you free tonight?" I purred in her ear only to close my eyes from another wave of nausea.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
I tittered slightly before kicking it off of the stand, "Stop it, you'll only make yourself worse."
Starting the engine up, I pulled out of the house before driving off. Just as I did, Mom drove up onto the drive; grand. She wouldn't likely care anyway.
"Now, it's downtown, right?"

Molly: I nodded, "Right next to your mom's agency." I said. Just as we started to go her mom stepped out of the car and looked at us strangely, I looked down and murmured the speel to cloak my eyes and looked back up. "Where are you two going?" She aked.
I tapped Robin's shoulder, this was her expertise.

"Sorry Mom, we're just picking up some things so that Molly can stay the night, if that's alright?"
She raised a brow before nodding, "Fine darl', but does your mother know?"
"Of course Mom; I remember last time... And by the way, Oli's dropping off Angie at her party-thing, 'kay?"
"Have you had dinner yet?"
"No, I was going to do us something when we get ba-- Mom, we need to go now; there's something on the TV that I want to catch before we get back."
Her eyes rolled before she locked the car and went into the house. Grand.
"Sorry, you're stuck now," I smirked before pulling of of the drive, "Anyway, let's go."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I sighed and opened my cell phone. After the phone ringged a few times my mom picked up. "Hey...Mom.. I'm going to stay over at Robin's tonight, I'll pick up my stuff later, love you bye!"
"Lov-" I fliped my phone shut and took a deep breath pushing the ever present bile down.

"There, easy."
I knew that I was going to get it later but it didn't matter.
Robin kept quiet as they continued to motor down the road; there wasn't any need for talking anyway; knowing Molly, she'll throw up.

Molly: 3..2...1.. I began tapping Robin\s shoulder urgently and as soon as she slowed down I jumped off and vomited into a bush.I wobbled back to the scooter and mounted trying to imagen it as a horse, unsuccessfully though.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Graceful, eh?
"It's just down here," I assured her before weaving through a bit of traffic and around an old lady driving at 2mph.
After pulling up outside my Mom's work, I walked her into her space in lot.
"This isn't public parking!" someone barked as I dismounted it, "Wait? Oli?"
"Robin actually," I smirked, "Hey Mr. Rydell."
"What are you doing here? Your mom's just gone home, hasn't she?"
Mr. Rydell was just about to get into a rather nice looking car as I lifted the helmet off. He smirked at me before getting into the car.
"Yeah, but I need to go to shops quickly; forgot the tomatoes," I shrugged, "but I gotta dash. See you around."
He nodded before revving up the engine and pulling out into the busy road. I sighed with relief.
"Done. Now come on!"

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I wobbled after her grabbing the bucket that I forgot about and hugged it tightly, this was my friend, Mr bucket. "Mr.Bucket and I better not be hurt..." I said feeling a bit infintile.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Shut up! We're almost there," I said, pulling her down the alley that lead to the shop.
With a sigh, I continued to hurry her until we got to the front door. Closed. Really?
"There's lights though," I muttered, "Let us in!"
Tapping on the door, I saw a figure swiftly step past the light causing a glimmer; there.
"We're closed!"
It was the same voice from before!
"Yes, I know but, my friend. She's vomitting and she has multi-coloured eyes and I tried to help her after she fell on a mirror and shattered it! I said the spell wrong amd now it's like this. We came across town and I'm missing my shows! Let us in, please?"
There was a cackle as the door swung open. No-one was behind it. Weird. Walking in, a shiver rose up my spine as I felt like there was something happening. I looked back to Molly amd tried to wave her in.
"So, the thief and the knocker return, eh? Fufufu," the voice came fro overhead, "But I need to see. Yes, I need to see that you, Thief care for your friend. Are you willing to let me see?"
"Sure," I shrugged, "How?"
I didn't even need to think about it; of course I was. I wasn't that heartless.
"Walk closer, walk closer to the mirror then my dear," she cackled once more, "and wait for the instructions."

Molly; I walked forward then vomited in the bucket. "Oh, Sory Mr. Bucket, I just didn't feel well, did you know that Some of that must be the spagetti I had for lunch?" I said to the bucket, he really wa a good listener.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Nice Molly.
"Put one hand on the mirror," the voice cackled, "Then wait."
Shrugging, I did as she was told. Putting my hand onto the surface, I looked into the reflection and saw a hooded figure: small, short and clad in black. She seemed somehow familiar to me though...
"Tress flut retra Wellington plodicon trembolina rug!"
With that, I shrieked as I felt my hand sinking into the mirror. I knew my face was a picture because I saw it.
"What the hell?!" I shouted as I turned around, "Let me go!"
No-one was there, just Molly and 'Mr. Bucket', evidence that Molly had gone mad.
"You said for this to happen. It's only for a while m'dear anyway. Cheerio."
With one last tug of my arm, I looked back at Molly and saluted her, "Good luck. Tell Mom and Oli that I love them and tell Angie that she needs to grow u--"
With that, I was in the mirror and watching. I tried whacking on the glass but my shouts were muffled; all I could see was Molly, the figure and the darkness around me...
(that would be the place where I'd end the chapter )

Me too...
CHAPTER TWO!
Molly: I whimpered and hugged my bucket closer. "Robin? Robin? Me and Mr. Bucket are scared? Robin?" I whimpered. I crumpled onto the floor and started rocking back and forth clutching Mr.Bucket, he started to smell but like a good friend I ignored it.

Lol.
"Are you okay, child? Now, let's see if we can fix you whilst she is gone, eh?"
A little old woman popped up behind the counter as the lights sparked into life. The mysterious and generally spookiness had gone completely from the room. All of the cobwebs in the corners for example had gone and you could actually see properly. The shop looked clean and nice.
"You knocked on the door earlier, correct? Fufufu. M'dear, sit down on the chair and I'll make you a cup of tea. How do you like your's, hmm?"
With a clap of her hands, a large shaggy-haired dog ran into view. Big happy eyes were what he wore along with a crimson collar.
"Trifle? Clean out the bucket please."
With a bow of it's head, it ran over and took the bucket from Molly's grasp and ran out back with it.
"Now, have you got any known allergies?"

Molly: "No....but Mr. Bucket says I'm allergic to seriousnessesssesses." I said with a giggle, "Can I have Hot chocolate? I like hot chocolate, do you like hot chocolate? I like Hot chocolate." I smiled brightly then felt my stomach lurch. "Mr Bucket!" I whispered before vomiting on the ground. "Oh...sorry... Wheres Robin?"
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"I think that this tea will be better suiting to you right now, dear... It's a herbal blend to make you feel a bit better for now. I'll need to get me glasses and my book to fix you up properly but for now, the tea's good."
She hobbled over with a cup and saucer. Carefully, she passed it to the girl with a smile, showing rather yellow teeth on the way.
"Your friend is in prison; thieves go into prison m'dear," the woman explained, "Oh! I forgot to mention! You can call me Lilith! Or Lilly or Auntie Lil! Any child with The Sight cannot be bad in my books! Fufufu."
