"Mols, are you okay?" I put my hand on her shoulder, a concerned look on my face, "Damn you look weird. Come on, it's obvious that a crappy little shop like this has beaten you already."
I raised a brow as she didn't jolt for the door; what was wrong with her?! She was screeching at me earlier and now...oh...
"Can you move? Are you actually so scared that you've frozen?" I bit my lip to prevent me from chortling her out of here, "Man, you are a wuss."

Molly: In midst of all my fear I really wanted to hit her. I tried to move but then intense pain hit my eyes, like someone was trying to stab them or something, a tear rolled down my cheek and I colapsed on the floor my eyes burning painfully. I grabbed Robin's pant's leg and hugged it while shivering, my eyes still in intense pain.

"You're crazy!"
I bent over and held her arm, looking at the pain her eyes. What was happening? That was when I started to panic.
"O-okay, Mols, I'm gonna go find the voice and see what the hell's happenin' 'kay? Just gi-give me a tick, eh?" I spoke shakily, taking my hand off of her.
Walking over to where the voice came from, I tried not to let fear show itself on my features, instead trying to keep strong.
"Yo! Ma'am! What the hell's happenin' to my friend? Is it because we came in 'ere or... Okay, are you a ghost?"

Molly:I rocked back and forth on my heels waiting for Robin to come back, just then I felt a color shift. Everything around me was brighter and different than before, not to mention the pain was gone. I grabbed a handle from a drawer and pulled myself up, I looked around the counter for some type of reflective metal or something that I could see my face in. Finnaly I remmebered my phone in my pocket. I carefully pulled it out and I looked in at my face, the usual but something was different about my eyes. I squinted slightly only to see them shift in color, my mouth dropped open. They went from green to blue, I looked again and now they were white.
"R-r-robin!" I shouted freaking out severly.

"Yes! I can't see no woman... Are you wearing contacts at all?"
I pointed at her trying to think, then they shifted colour. What the hell?
"Okay, tell me exactly what happened!"
I ran forward, not really knowing what was going on, but on some levels I was liking it; it was currently much better than our second adventure with the goat in school. It was one of those fainting goats that when you make a loud noise toppled over so when Mr. Gunner came along he started shouting, the goat toppled and it was just memorable and only with two days of detentions, even for clearing up the goat poop and grass stains.
"You were in pain and now you're all like Christmas lights? Are you still in pain?"

Molly: I shook my head and furrowed my brow. "Why aren't you all flashy with the eyes? I would hate to be the only one at school with... OH MY GOD, My mom! she'll freak! I can't just tell people they're mood stone contacts, gosh! " I started biting my lip mumbling about how dead I'll be. I looked at her and felt my eyes tingle a bit, I did a puppy dog face just to make it sink in. "we are going to leave now, please! Please lets go!" I whimpered. I looked into her eyeshoping she'd leave the adventure alone for once.

Post by OpenTheDoor Tue Dec 21, 2010 7:13 pm

Despite how badly I wanted to hunt down this woman-that-may-just-be-the-speakers-or-Casper, I knew that I would just have to leave it for today. I think that the worst thing was that I didn't want that to happen to me, but I knew I had to be a friend.
"Fine, but put these on."
Out of my top pocket, I whipped out my favourite aviators, the ones that make me look amazing and the ones that I have had many-a compliment from. The ones that were my baby.
"You may borrow them but if you break them then you are dead and owe me eterinally."
With a roll of my eyes, I started to exit the shop, but then stopped metres away from the door.
"You go ahead, I just wanna see something," I said absentmindedly, waving my hand, "I'll be out in a tick, just go a head. I'll meet you at the bus stop, I promise."
With that, I started to walk back to the door and the knocker, looking at it. The door clicked behind me, hopefully Molly doing as she was told for once.
"Okay, so it happened after we touched this, but we did it together, so how come I didn't get rainbow eyes? Hmm..."
I touched the door again, looking at the fine wood work that stretched on it. This wasn't something that you'd expect to see in the middle of a big city.
"I need to see into this further. Thanks mom for the detective instinct thing. I owe this all to you."
I looked up to the roof, smiling slightly. I knew that she was watching over me; her office building was right next door.
With one last sweep of the room, I looked at the counter and saw an open book. Unlike the rest of the desk which was covered in dust, the pages were fine and not a mark on it...apart from that stain.
Slipping into my pocket, I took out the rubber gloves and snapped them on. Looking outside to make sure that Molly wasn't looking, I slipped the hand-book into my plastic bag that had my sandwiches in it and then into my bag.
"Shouldn't take too long with the archives on Mom's laptop, eh?"
Smirking to myself, I stepped outside of the shop and nodded at Molly. The smirk had disappeared off of my face completely. What? I didn't want her to be suspicious.

Molly:I stood nervously at the door with the aviators covering my eyes, how long would this work? How long until someone asks me to take them off? How long would I stay like a psycadelic light show? I sighed knowing Robin was doing something she shouldn't and something she wouldn't want me to know about which naturally I would find out one way or another. I tapped my foot on the sandy path and sighed, life sucked.

I smiled at Molly as I waved her on to walk with me, "Okay, first of all you're coming to my house so that we can figure out how the eyes change colour, like if there's a certain mood, words or something like in all of the movies. Then you can go to the tattoo parlour who do colour contacts, though honestly they're not great quality, but the best that we can do right now... What's your natural eye colour?"
I kind of had a plan already in my head, but I knew that Molly may not agree to half of it. Knowing my luck I would have to tempt her over or have a sleepover or something, but so far she was in debt to me: one for my lack of adventure and two for the aviators.

Molly: I raised my eyebrows above the aviators. "Tattoo parlour? You should know my eyes are green, and lastly, A tatto parlour? For what would I go in their for? TO tatto my eyes?" I winced as an imaged a appeared in my head, that would be a very uncomfortable procedure.

"They do colour contacts. My brother had to go get some for a party once," my eyes rolled, "but I can go with you if you want."
I stopped a second, putting my hand onto the wall. Now that we were onto a proper path, I had time to empty my Vans out of sand and whatever else may be in there.
"And I didn't know that your eyes are green because I haven't been staring into them unlike Nerdy Fergie in biology class who has a crush on you."

Molly: I blushed purple. "He does not, he's just a creeper that way! And you've done makeovers on me a billion times to know what color my eyes are...were." I sighed and walked ahead not waiting for her, we were still near that evil hellhole.

"Makeovers? When did I do them?"
That was something that I swore that I never did, not since a year back, before I went skater full-on, something that my mom hated. I used to be her little spa-buddy until I learnt how to olly off of the half-pipe. Grand days.
Catching up, I tried not to lose her from sight. Plus, I still needed to jeer to her about her crush.
Everyone knew it, it was just that she wasn't the only one to admit to it. The best thing was on Valentine's day when she got a teddy bear, a locker full of rose petals and a loved-up card. It was rather sweet actually, and better than the two cards I got anyway. From who? The Everwood Twins.

Molly: "You know all last year when you were still trying to be pretty, and don't you dare tease me about Fergie, what about Jim and John? The Everwood twins are quite smitten with you." I sang out loudly, loud enough to make her cringe. I sould see the traffice and buildins now and I adjusted my gait to go faster.

"At least they aren't, oh where to start? Let's go with: dorky, ginger, freckled, Harry Potter glasses-wearing, actually know what style is if it hit them in the face! Oh, should I go on about the way he walks and talks, or should that be snort?"
At that moment, I took out my glasses and put them on the very top of my nose. Snorting, I curled my top lip up to show my teeth which were trying to stick out, "Hey Molly! I love you! Roses are red! Potassium is purple! I love you more than... What rhymes with purple? Oh! Nothing!"
Then I burst into a idiotic, snorting, nerd-like laughter before stopping suddenly, my face going back to neutral. Putting my glasses back into their case, I stopped walking.
Okay, I felt like a right bitch now, but with the talk of the old 'pretty' me, I guess I had nothing to say on the matter. She knew that it was a soft area for me, unless she forgot.

Molly: I glared at her a bit the went silent walking faster. "You really didn't have to be that mean to him." I said shortly and walked on. I wouldn't date him if my life depended on it but he was a sweet guy, I wouldn't be mean to him. I knew he was nerdy but I wouldn't make fun of him for it, it was a bit low for her to do that. I did know her pretty stage was hard but I just answered her question no mocking about it, heck I was there too.

I honestly had nothing to say, but I knew that I blew my chances of what was going to make her come round to mine anyway, but I needed to speak with her anyway, and in the house would be easier.
With a light bulb appearing above my head, I quickly took out the mini-skateboard that I kept in my bag. Yes, I kept one at the bottom of my bag. Why? Because my bag is the T.A.R.D.I.S. and simply because it was fun.
"Look, sorry, but I still need you to come around to mine, even if it is for like ten minutes. Interested?"

Molly: I wiped a tear from my eye. "No, not really. Currently I just want to go to my room, curl up in a ball and cry." I said mono tone. This really was a bad day and it was going worse, I mean, why was I the only one who's eyes got all funky? I stop midstep as a dude walked by, he wore a bussiness suit on his top half and a horse on his bottom half. He was half horse. I started hyperventilating and at the noise I saw him turn, he looked at me strangely then his eyes grew wide and started walking towards us.

"Centaur? Nice."
Okay, I'd admit to it: I'm a fanatsy freak that likes all the Lord of the Rings books but will never admit to it; I queued up to get the Harry Potter books and the movies; I read Twilight...then gave it to my little sister to enjoy aka the biggest mistake of my life. Either way, this seemed rather...odd to me, but still pretty darn cool.
"Molly, it's just a man riding a horse, it's just your imagination, okay? You're eyes are probably just all blurry from the damn crying. Come on."
I jumped off of the skateboard and put her on it before starting to push her along. I was a decent runner when I needed to be, and with a centaur on us I think it was the best idea.

Molly: I stuck my arms out while wobbling on the board absolutly sure that the guy was a centaur. I was going to fall, I had zero balence, my gravity was down and it hurt.
"Hey, wait!" The man/centaur/hallucination yelled as we went by.
"I'mgonnafallI'mgonnafall I'MGONNAFALL!" I yelled scared out of my mind. I grabbed on to Robin's jacket from behind me making myself almost fall.

Yeah! Sure!

"You're not! Come on!"
Then, the worst thing ever happened: I fell. And there was a hill.
"Molly!"
I got up quickly and started running down the hill. Wait. There were no hills in the city, were there? And trees?... I think we're not there.
"Jump off of the board! Now!"
I turned my head away so that I couldn't see, but the centaur had enough time to gallop up to me. Great.
"Um... Hi?"

Molly:I screamed bloody murder and dropped onto my knees on the board. I clung to it as I rolled down the hill screaming. "I HATE YOU ROBIN!" I shreiked. I was going to die. This was it, a nasty collision into a tree to end it all, I hadn't lived or even had a career. What a sad little life, no lovers or scandals. I braced myself as I neared a tree but strangely my board swerved to the side and straight into a lake. I managed a gurgle before falling. I splashed around finally reaching the shoreline, 4it was one deep lake.

"Oh! That belongs on Youtube!"
I started laughing my butt off before attempting to run down the hill without breaking an ankle. That was truely one of the funniest things that I had ever seen though.
"Where's my board?! You didn't lose it?! Molly! You idiot!"
I ran up to the edge and grimaced; Harley got it for me for my birthday! That cost him a fortune! I was gonna be dead when I got home!... But, this didn't seem like home.
I sighed and looked around, the centaur out of sight by now, but the sound of hooves soon met us on the horizon. Great. This wasn't going to be awkward(!)

Molly; I dragged my body out of the lake the board attached to my pant's leg. I spat up water and sighed. "Don't mind me, I just almost drowned....OH MY GOD IT'S GOING TO KILL US!" I screeched as the Centuar came at us. "This is all a dream, just a drug induced dream, we got kidnapped and drugged and this is just a hallucination." I said trying to calm down. This wasn't real, not a bit.
"Hello ladies, are you alright?" It asked concerned, "whats going to kill you? Certainly not I."
I whimpered.

"Sorry, she's just a bit loopy; forgot to take her meds. But hello there, I'm Robin, this is Molly. Now, could you do us a favour and tell us where we are?"
That was probably the first time that I had ever given my real name to a stranger, but I always did like ponies.
"Molly... Where's my aviators?"
I looked at her face and her 70's inspired eyes. No aviators. A switch flicked in the back of my brain before I started shrieking at her.
The reason why I'm npt writing what she said was simply because it was too darn rude. I am sorry fpr any distress caused.

What happened to 'adding guys'?

its coming.

Molly:I pulled the glasses from my pocket with a glare. "I do not need medication, you do! THATS A FREAKING CENTAUR!" I turned to the centuar, "No offense."
I turned back to her and pushed her into the lake grinning, I turned back to the Centaur only to see a band of dirty and scraggly people run into view. I widened my eyes forgetting about the rainbow effect.

there, happy?
