Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I smiled seeing Robin enter the house. "Come on in and this,"I took out a booklet, "Is yours, all the rules regulations and the like." I pulled her arm into the kitchen and sat down at the table eyeing the waffles my mother was making in an animalistic lust. I was starving. "You look really good, Crusoe." I said going back to one her many nicknames. I got it from the book by Robinson Crusoe or some dude with a name like that, she always didn't get my path of making nicknames but it was what I did.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"And look hungry," I smirked, "but thanks. I had to drag out the dresses last night after helping Oli clear the bathroom of cake. We eventually gave up and went to bed though as I knew I had to be prim and proper for today. Good morning Mrs. Black."
I smiled somewhat sweetly at her before looking down to the boolet. They made booklets about this? Really? I opened up the first page, reading down the origins and whatnot. It was then I realised what I got myself into. I looked at Molly's heels and then at her dress. I honestly felt sorry for her.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I took short shallow breaths trying to breathe, after a while the dress would streatch ever so slightly, I hoped. I tugged the traitorous dress up once more and sighed, this really was going to be a pain. "Ma, where's the syrup?" I asked while slowly tearing into my buttered waffle. Seeing as there was none I continued on like a wildcat.
"Robin, sweetie, do you want a waffle?" My mother asked with a slight frown to my behaviour I simply shrugged and grabbed another waffle off the growing plate.

"If you wouldn't mind, thank you," I smiled, "And you are rather ravinous, aren't you?"
I smiled slightly as I took a plate and placed a waffle on it. Unlike Moley, I actually chewed and savered it; it was so much better than any I've ever had. But I had to smile at Molly with the cutesy pink dress and heels teamed alongith the waffle-scoffing; you couldn't make it up.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: "I am hungwy!" I mumbled through my waffle stuffed mouth. I thanked thanked the higer powers that my mom was a professional chef. It made life taste so good. I glared at Robin's amused look and once I swallowed I couldn't help but grin evilly. "Check page seventy three in the handbook." I said waiting for her to do it. That was the page explaining that each event after this one we would either have to find a date or be paired up with one of the guys who's parents were invoved in the whole debutaunte scene.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
I raised a brow; what was on page 73?... No.
"No. No. No. No. No. No."
We had to go in pairs? That was rubbish! I won't find anyone and then I'll be matched up with someone who's ugly or up-himself knowing my luck. I was ready to cuss but then I stopped myself by eating a bit of the waffle... What? I didn't eat with my mouth full.
After swallowing,I began again, "Really? Because I'm a single lady."
Just as I said that, I did the little hnd movement with a head jerk. Ages ago me and Molly learnt how to do that but I stoppes when the nail came. It also meant that I missed all the important lessons.
I' heading to bed. Do me a favour and tell Gifted I said 'bye', will you? Thank you.
"No. No. No. No. No. No."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
no prob
Molly: I shrugged. "That is why we are going today, first ones there get the first picks." I said with a clever grin, she may still hate the idea but at least this sweeted the pot a touch.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Today?! You're kidding me!" I almost fell out of the chair, "So, how is this going to happen? We all stand in a line and then they go 'I want that one' to the one that floats their boat, or what?"
This was getting a tad bad but not heavily so. Yes, I have to wear a dress and heels but a cute guy... I wasn't so sure.
"And what will happen if we both like the same guy? That'll be disasterous!"
That was a fair point; it happened in all of the movies at least. This would be where we split up and then one of us goes to the shop and goes through the door and then they get kidnapped and then...I realise that I watch too many movies.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I grinned, I, having gone through this kind of thing before, knew all you needed to know. "No, there is a tea party that we go to. A kind of way to meet our instructors, and thier sons. We just have to be as polite as possible to the ladies and they introduce us to thier sons, quite easy." I said licking syrup off my fork suggestivly.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Stop that," I giggled, "Well if there's waffles involved then you're going to fail."
I picked up another and began cutting them up into small pieces. Personally, I thought that it was going to be worse, but Molly knew her stuff when it came to this.
I looked down her dress and sighed; syrup.
"You wouldn't have an old dress that I could borrow, have you?"
It was only a little dash but it was rather noticeable and that truely annoyed me. Plus this was one of my favourite and if that didn't come out, then heads will roll.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I raised my eyebrow, "Do I ever." I grabbed her arm and led her upstairs to a room she didn't even know that was there. I stopped at the door and turned to her "I need you to take a deep breath, okay? Then we can enter." I said as I turned back. Once the breathing was complete I pushed open the door to reveal a huge closet of dresses, all color coded of course. "Go hog wild." I said leaning back in the couch that we've managed to fit in.
Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Whoa. This is better than Narnia.
"That's a lot of dresses," I looked back to her, grinning wildly before diving in.
"Red? No. Pink? Never. Orange? Halloween, maybe."
I sorted through all of the dresses until I got to the green: my favourite colour. I picked up a dress at the side and smiled. Perfect! No frills, no stupidly huge bows, just plain and simpleness!
"I think I am going to be buried here! Now, where do I change?" I asked, walking back to Molly, "And then we need to talk shoes."

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: I laughed, apparently she liked it. "Shoes are in the closet over there, the dress has a number on the tag which the matching shoes share, look for that number and you'll find the perfect shoes." I saighed, "Just change here, it doesn't matter."
I tried to breath again but failed deciding to give up trying to push the limits of the dress, at least my chest looked good.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
"Are you okay?" I asked, hiding around the corner, "Are you wearing a corset or something?"
I looked at the number on the tag once I had the dress on. Almost perfect fit. Looking in the closet, I pulled out a pair of uber cute shoes.
"Can I keep this? You don't need it with the millions that you have in there, eh?"

(graceling)
Molly: I growled protectivly, "You can borrow those, they're my fav's! And yes I am practically wearing a corset let's go before I pass out and fall into an ocean." I said with a girly giggle.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
(Sure)
I nodded, a little upset about the dress; it was so nice!
"Okay, after you. Do you want me to hold you up at all?" I asked, grabbing her arm as I clacked down the hall. Yes, I hated heels but those shoes were gorgeous but I knew they were going to kill me later and with my dodgy ankle.
"Are we going by limo at all?"

srryr I had to go
Molly: I giggled , "No but we have a chaffeur, MOM! We're ready!" I pulled her downstairs and into our car. As we waited for my mother I quizzed her. "In response to how are you, you say..?"

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
No worries.
"Just dandy...? I don't know!" I rolled my eyes, "But does it involve saying 'thank-you ma'am/sir' and curtseying?"
I didn't know at all; I could have done the right thing anyway; it just isn't my nature to do so.

Molly: I shook my head with a playful grin as my mother started the car. "No it's," I lightened my voice so it sounded sweet and all girl scout like, "Very well, miss or misses or sir, And you? At that point you have a choice of continuing the conversation or let them continue." I gave a small polite smile and slouched back into myself.
This was going to be interesting.

"Very nice," she nodded, "Anything else that I need to know?"
I turned to her in the seat; plush. This was defiantly a nicer car than anything that I'll ever sit in.
I kept myself sat up prim and proper, just incase I creased the dress badly.

Molly: "When flirting say whatever you wish, most of these guys are either oversheltered or undersheltered, its really quite fun to see them stumble and blush, the oversheltered ones at least." I said grinning evilly, I had to have fun sometime.
Once reaching the posh building got out and helped Robin out with me, with a quick kiss for my mom we entered the building and headed to resistration.
"Robin and Molly, I called last night." I said sweetly but with a smooth tone.
"Oh right, you're a bit early but go ahead."
I grinned at robin and pulled her into the elevator and pressed the fourteenth floor.
"You like?"

"I'm messing my pants," she sighed, "This is defiantly the worst that I've felt in a while."
She looked to the dial going across at the top of the lift. Five...six...seven...
"And I so am regretting this."
Ten...eleven...twelve...

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
Molly: "Don't worry, imagine your a princess, you can have everything you want as long as you stay cordial and polite." I said telling her my little secret that kept me sane in these times. "You got me remember? You don't even have to lead my side."
Ding!
Floor fourteen, here we go. As the doors opened I swept out, Robin in tow and went straight to some overly makeuped middleaged suburban women.
"Good morning Mrs. Flowars and Mrs. Dengles." I greeted with a little curtsy. I elbowed Robin descreetly to do the same.

Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)
A princess? But I didn't need that nudge Molly...
"Good morning Mrs Flowars, good morning morning Mrs Dengles," my British accent came through rather thickly as I curtsied, smiling and keeping my eyes nice and friendly.
If there was one thing that I have learnt from all of the drama classes that I have had, it's how to keep a straight face whilst acting and especially if I just went British... I hadn't done that in ages. Oh well, at least it was Southern and so reasonablely posh.
