Salice: As I walk into town, I notice how there are few out. Usually there are a few stragglers. But not today. Something must wrong. Then I feel a sudden heat at my side. I press my lips together to suppress the growl I want to let out. A fire demon of the Flame court. My eyes slide over to him. I meet bright amber eyes, ones that all of the flame court bare when they choose to be in their human form. I nod a barely imperceptible nod at him. He just grins.
"I speak in name for the Flame court's king when I ask for your assistance, Lady Vatani." He speaks with a royal air that disgusts me. But I keep that part to myself. His eyes darken for a moment before they light up again. "I would love to discuss the details with you, but it seems as though there is another that would like to speak with you."

I look over my shoulder and see a dark cloaked figure, his face in shadow. I narrow my eyes and nod again. "Of course. I will meet with you again soon, soldier," I dismiss him and stride over to the shadowed figure. But the moment I'm in range, I instantly know who it is. Damani.

I stare at him coldly for a few moments before he speaks.
"Salice," he starts calmly, "I'd like to have a word with you, but I'm afraid it cannot be spoken out in the open with ears from all sorts of kingdoms open for information." His dark eyes pierce through me. I frown, then reach a hand out for his.
"Then we'll just have to speak in my mansion."
He smiles, taking my hand easily. "I was hoping you'd say that."

(He transports them back to the mansion, so now everyone's at the mansion)

Sebastian: I glanced up at him. "Was there anything else you wanted, young master?" I asked. I had dinner preparations to see to and I didn't want any distractions.

Ciel : I shake my head to dispel building thoughts of the past. "N-no.." I look down and then slowly head for the door. I'd call the cabbi back and be on the next train to France within minute.

Salice: When we reappear at the front steps, I snatch my hand away from Damani's grip. He was here on business terms and I was in nod mood for his fondling. "Would you care to stay for dinner? I'm guessing Sebastian will have dinner done about now..." I trail off when I spot the young lord myself. "Ciel," I greet, still in my formal state, as Damani steps up behind me.

I should've guessed. He grimaces.

"Salice, I didn't join the Shadow court, I promise you. I just--"

I narrow my eyes at him. "I don't want to hear it. You said you wanted to tell me something important?" I snap, moving away from him and stalking toward the living room area. I can hear his footsteps following quickly, and soon he overtakes me and is in front of me again. I don't lighten my glare.

His brow is furrowed and he looks angry, if not upset. "Actually, that was a lie. I just..." his expression lightens and he actually has the nerve to smile at me. "I just wanted to see you again." he admits. I just openly stare at him. He'd lied and I hadn't caught it. He chuckles. "And you're one to speak, what were you doing with a soldier from the Flame court?"

I just press my lips together, not looking at him. I knew how much he hated the Flame court. But he knew how much I hated the Shadow court. And he reeked of their disgusting scent. Not to mention the remnants of shadows that clung to his clothes.
