my eyes widen when i see whose standing behind me. My heart stopped. It must have been anger that made me feel this way. i was just glad i wasn't holding the vase full of flowers any longer.

Sebastian: I bowed slightly. "My lord," I said. The words came out of my mouth easily even after so long without saying them. A smirk played around my mouth as I looked at the young master. The smirk and the drawl did a good job of hiding my shock--and anger at Salice--at seeing the young master after so long.

Salice: I look between the two of them. Sebastian hides his anger a lot more affectively than I'd think he would. And Ciel? I smile at Ciel's expression. What a naive little boy. I cross my legs at the knee and I lean forward, my elbow on my knee and my chin in my hand as I watch the scene play out.

Sebastian: "I should take these--" I lifted the bags up "--down the kitchen and start dinner, Lady Salice." I gave a short bow and looked at the young master. "Young master." I turned and left before Salice could object. I made my way downstairs and finally into the kitchen.

Salice: I frown at that. I expected different from the young master. I sigh and straighten up, lacing my fingers in my lap. "Well now, you just had to go and ruin all my fun," I say, pursing my lips. I glance over at Sebastian. All that anger was starting to show through. I'm sure I could defend myself well enough if he let loose.

Salice: I return my attention back to the young master. "Yes?" I answer lightly, cocking my head to the side and raising my eyebrows. Such a little spitfire he's become. I wonder if he'll actually dare to challenge me. I only manage to keep a knowing smirk off my face.

Sebastian: I began work on the dinner. Working kept me from thinking; thinking about the boy upstairs. The boy who was no longer a boy and was in fact approaching manhood. I gritted my teeth and hacked away at the carrots.

Ciel : No, this wasn't like me. I find a grin of my own, my eyes narrow softly. "I think you know I'm not in the habit of abandoning games, half way through." Her house isn't too different from mine when it comes to structure. With out word i go off in Sebastian's direction.

Sebastian: At last I took a breath and stared down at my handiwork. The carrots were pretty much destroyed. I frowned; I had let myself get carried away and that was no go. I took a deep breath and slid the carrots aside to start in on the next step of the meal.

Salice: I wave to him as he leaves. What an interesting way to start off a day. I stand up and stretch, thinking about going off for that errand now. My eyes flicker to the wall of clear glass that overlooks the backyard and the forest beyond. It was starting to mist and the fog was thick. Seems like wonderful weather for getting it done. I walk over to grab my cloak and pull the hood up to hide my face before heading out, leaving word with my own butler that I was off for some errands.
