Salice: I sigh, "Oh, how wonderful. I'll see you then, young Lord," I hang up the phone and saunter back over to the chair. I sit tall, smirking to myself as I think about what will happen. "Well at least I won't always have to deal with Sebastian now," I say out loud with as much cheeriness as I can handle.

Ciel : "Wait, Sal-" the dial tone is dead. I grind my teeth. "Listen to people when they're talking to you..."
"Ciel~ who was that?" Lizzy asks, rubbing her nose against my chest. I try to put on a blank expression.
In the two years that had passed, more than just the tone of my voice changed. Lizzy had bloomed into a beautiful young woman...a beautiful young bride really... i pull back.
"It was a bushiness call. It seems i have something to look to in London. Will you tell mother of this?" I ask her, heading for the door.
She pouts. "But Ciel~" she whines.
Some things just don't change. I dawn my jacket and head into the hall before i turn to her and give her my best smile..which wasn't very impressive. "I'll be back soon, Maria will be over later. Maybe you two can talk about her upcoming baby shower." Or what ever else you do.
Shes still pouting and mumbling when i leave but thats the farthest thing from my mind when i get into the carriage.

Sebastian: I crouched down next to the cat and stroked her fur. She mewed happily. I was not sure how much time passed while I pet the cat, but I knew it was time for me to start with the errands. I left the cat with her bowl of milk and bread crumbs and made my way back onto the street.

Ciel : A short train ride then cab ride later, and i was at the entrance to Salice's door. I hesitated before asking her hired help to open the door for me. I ran a hand through my hair, which needed a bit of a trim, then fixed my tie the best i could. I nodded to the man when i was done. He opened the door and i stepped through uneasily.

Salice: I don't turn around from looking out the back window. "It's nice to see you again, Ciel." I say, my eyes flickering to his image in the window. "But you can't say the same, can you?" I guess with a smirk. I look over my shoulder at him now. "Well don't look so unhappy. It's quite rude."

Sebastian: Salice had bestowed a list upon me and I browsed through it as I walked. A small frown tugged at my mouth. She seemed to be planning for more than the usual number of guests tonight judging by the amount of food I was to buy.

Sebastian: Salice had bestowed a list upon me and I browsed through it as I walked. A small frown tugged at my mouth. She seemed to be planning for more than the usual number of guests tonight judging by the amount of food I was to buy. Another note on the list made me stop dead. Scones. With chocolate. The young master always asked for those on special occasions. Coincidence? No such thing. I gritted my teeth. What was that devil planning?

Salice: I sigh, shaking my head with mock sadness. "You know I only tease you because I love you," I say, feigning being offended. "And didn't I tell you? I was just getting bored without you around. You have a way of making things more...interesting, around here." I say thoughtfully. Then I shake my hand, clearing that thought away. "Anyway ,make yourself at home. Don't be a stranger, Ciel," I say politely.

Ciel : A million different words are biding for a chance to escape my lips but i refuse them all and hand her the flowers Lizzy had arranged for her, with out knowing.
"Its nice seeing you again, Lady Salice. I just hope you didn't call me over to be your next victim, sebas-" i stop dead in my tracks. Sebastian isn't here to stop you...
I clear my throat. "Hows your work life, by the way? Should i be worried about the death toll you've left me." I half grin, standing besides a chair.

Sebastian: I bought everything on the list, even the scones, and made my way back to the mansion. When I arrived, I spotted a carriage wheeling away behind the house to where the stables were. I frowned slightly. What did that devil have waiting for me? I walked up the front steps and let myself in. Salice allowed me to come and go as I pleased.

are they right inside the door? or in a living room or something?

Salice: I actually let out a laugh at that. "Oh, you're not to worry young master, you're still too young to be of my concern at all." I smile at him as I take the flowers from his hands. "And my work life has been going well. Again, nothing for you to worry about. I can handle myself just fine."

my eyes widen when i see whose standing behind me. My heart stopped. It must have been anger that made me feel this way. i was just glad i wasn't holding the vase full of flowers any longer.
