ciel had left to go spend two years in france with lizzy
sebby had stayed with salice and she was trying to make him more demon-y since he became a bit more tamed over the two years he spent with ciel

Salice: I wave with a half smile as Sebastian heads off towards town. He really was starting to get on my nerves. He was always so moody. He didn't even listen to me - well, not really anyway - when I told him about my day! And he was the one who asked! I shake my head and go back inside. Hm, how can I make things better...I could run my own errands. I sit down in one of the chairs, tapping my fingers on my arm rest as I think. Then I snap my fingers. I know exactly how to make things more exciting around here. I stand up smoothly, striding over to the phone. I wait impatiently as I wait for the call to go through.

"Hello? Ciel? Ah, yes. This is Salice. I hope you haven't forgotten about me already, child. Hm? Well then! I was just calling to say that if you're done avoiding Sebastian, you can come home. He's gone off and I'm all alone and would just love the company," I wide smile spreads across my face.

Ciel : It was shocking enough to get a call from London, but to know it was from Salice was just a whole other shock on its own. although, what she had said had taken some of the joy from the situation. I grimace. "I'm not avoiding anyone. I wanted to spend time with my - i sigh a little- fiance.." and her irritating older brother who just loved to make this all the more bothersome for me. Granted, i'd be lying if i said i didn't grow a bit lighter when hearing Salice''s voice. Its been two years now. The last time i saw her i was 14. "You know how long itll take me to get there," i utter into the phone as Lizzy dashes inside to hug me. I wind one arm around her carefully, knowing that her brother was just waiting for me to do something indecent.

Sebastian: I strode away from Salice's mansion. She was quite irritating at sometimes, though that just might be the demon in her. Once I had reached the town, I slowed my pace. A flash of movement caught my eye and I spotted a cat slipping around the corner. I smiled and followed after it. It slipped behind a crate; I followed. Behind the crate the mother--for that was what this cat was--curled up around her kits on a blanket. I smiled again before turning and hurrying back onto the street. I bought some bread and milk and returned to the cats. I poured the milk out into a broke cup I found in the alley and crumbled the bread in my heads. I lay the small meal out before the mother.
