Char: I forced a smile. "Oh perfectly wonderful and you?" I asked. He looked a bit pained, I knew it was dark of me but I couldn't help wish he'd have to stop so I didn't have to admit I was weak. It was good for a man to say it but a woman never got a chance to shine with every one already assuming she's weak.

He looked at her. "What are you trying to prove?" he asked. "I know your strong, hell you smushed me to smithereens in our little race the other day." Jack said. "And I am doing perfectly fine."

CHar: I smiled again. "I'm not trying to prove anything, what about you? You seem keen to stay on your horse."

"I'm staying on my horse just fine. Thank you." He said, not wanting to talk to her any more. If she was going to be a little pill then he would to.

Chae: I stuck my nose in the air to seem a bit prim and continued to ride, I bit my lip to keep the pain down. I really was ready to quit, but no, I wouldn't. "That's nice." I breathed out.

Jack didn't reply. He was royaly upset with her. She had already proved she was stronger than him.

Char: I felt my ankle go numb and I stopped the horse, I couldn't go on. I took a shakey breath and turned the horse. "You win." I whimpered letting my eyes water a bit instead of holding the pain in.

Jack stopped his horse, he didn't smirk, didn't do anything. He turned towards her. And got off his horse. "Take your feet out of the stirrups." He said. He would guide his and her horse back the stable.

Char: I carefully took my injured foot out of the stirrup and the good foot. I leaned back in the saddle and took deep breaths, why did I get myself into things like this?

Jack pet her leg gingerly, and began to head back to the stables.

Char: I swung my good leg around easily but faltered when it came to landing. "Some help here please?" I asked in a whisper.

"Stay on the horse." Jack said. "It'll be easier for you to make it back to the stables." But he did help her, get back on the horse that is.

Char: I sat on the horse and sighed. "Injuries are the worst." I mumbled sadly. I watched the trees go by as we neared the stables.

Jack nodded, as he brought the horse in, he handed his horse off, and helped Charlotte off of hers, then a servant came to take her horse. "I'm carrying you to the house."

Char: "Not again." I sighed, "Lets just get a servent to do it, you're injured!" I may have been in pain but I wasn't going to go through this again.

Char: "I don't care, I am going to get a servent to take me. I don't want you hurt." I gingerly rang the bell for service, I felt a bit indulged but I reminded myself that Jack was hurt.

Char: "Too late." I said as a male servent walked over.
"Would you be ever so kind that you could carry me upstairs."
The man blushed, he was quite young actually.
"Y-yes Mrs." I wrapped my arm around his neck and let him pick me up.
"No problem." I said to Jack.

Jack gave the servant a look, to not try anything and if he did he would be fired. That look however surprised Jack, was he jealous. Two female servants followed him, with a new shirt and towels. He turned to them. "Not now."
"But monsieur , your shirt."
"Not now." Jack said leaving them.

Char: "So what's your name Monsier?" I asked trying to be polite.
"P-p-pierre madame," He stuttered. I almost smiled at the fact that I was making him a bit uncomfortable, I smiled.

Char: I glanced back at Jack concerned, I turned back and clung a bit tighter to the servent as he carried me up the stairs. I saw his blush and almost smiled, he was only about a year younger than me yet still seemingly a child. "Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yes, perfect madame." He said almost nervously.

Char: I held the man closely as we reached the top of the stairs. I let him put me down there, I balenced on one foot carefully. I kissed his cheek in thanks causing the man to blush bright red. "Merci." I watched the man quickly descend the stairs, while I smiled evilly.

Jack caught the man's shirt collar. "Go to the kitchen and ask for Marie, you'll like her." he whispered. He would not let Charlotte's tactics get to him.
