Connor: I lean farther away, catching my breath. "Luce..I..." I trail off, not sure what to say. Then I hear someone clear their throat. Both Lucy and I look up. It's Elliot. Oh. I almost forgot about him. And he doesn't look too happy.
"Elliot," I start, "Hey, um..."
"Yeah. Hey. Look, could you two leave your smooching to later. We got a problem. Clarkson totally smashed up Jp's car and we don't know where the hell she is. So, if you would," he gestured behind him, still looking pissed.

Lucy: I let go of him and took a few steps back trying to gather my thoughts, shaking my head I walked after Elliot. "We'll talk later." I say softly to Conner.

Connor: I stand up, ruffling the hair at the back of my head. "Uh yeah...right." I wait until both of them have disappeared before I even start to go look for Jp. I jog for the park remembering how she'd gone there before when she was upset. I skid to a halt a few hundred yards away when I see her on the swings. But she's not alone. She seems to be talking to some guy that I don't really recognize. I watch them out of boredom and curiosity for a few more moments. Then I find myself smiling. It's Ky. He won first place last year. I smirk a little when I also remember Harvey continually telling me that I should be more like him. More serious and more 'in the game', or whatever. I turn around, my hands in my pockets as I walk back toward the garage. I think she'll be all right.

Lucy: Once finding JP I go looking for Clarkson, and of course he's ranting on to his thugs of friends. I angery stomp up, cross my arms and start to tap my foot. The three signs of anger, and anger is but one letter short of danger.
Clarkson looks up and his face becomes an agitated pink. "What the hell are you doing here Lucy? Why don't you go cry over your dead fath-" I didn't let him finish. I ran up to him and sent a nice firm punch into his chin. When he bends over to cradle his head I slam my knee into his face.

His yell of pain brings a satisfied smile to my face, letting me plant a firm kick into his side. I turn and start walking away but halt and turn back to his terrified friends.
"Step one, don't talk about my dad. Step two, don't mess with my friends and finally Step three. Don't.Mess.With.Me." I growled then stomped off.

Connor: While I was walking back to the garage, I ran into a satisfied looking Lucy. I run forward a few steps so that I can catch up with her. I place a hand on her arm, stopping her. "Hey, what's got you looking so cheerful?" I ask her, half smiling in amusement.

Lucy: I give him a brighter smile. "I just beat up Clarkson good...He's back there bleeding if you want a picture, six kids video taped it on thier phones and it'll probably go viral on Youtube in an hour." I couldn't keep the bright smile from my face.

A frown creased my brow, what about the...kiss?

Connor: I feel my face redden. Oh yeah...that...I glance away, finally going with looking down at the ground. "I...I really did like it, but I'm also...really confused about it too." I dare look up at her. "Luce, it's just that you've always been my best friend, you know? And I've never thought about us being together like that, before, so you could say I'm not exactly sure what..to say..." I trail off, searching her eyes, trying to read into what her expression means. Man, am I bad at this or what? I hold my breath.

Connor: I run my fingers through my hair, blowing out the breath that I'd been holding. "Right, what now," I chuckle nervously to myself. "How about...how about we see where this goes, 'kay?" I ask her, managing a small smile. Why oh why was I cursed with girl problems all the time? I really need, like, a friend that's an expert on this kind of thing. Seriously.

(no probs, I understand... I hav like a ton of homework...but I'm gonna procrastinate and use the terror of not finishing it to fuel me... my strange tenique that works..)
Lucy:I nod holding my arm in an awkward sort of way. "Sure, if it doesn't work then we know it's best to stay friends. Just promise me one thing." I ask biting my lip. The idea of me and Conner as an item was... interesting, almost a bad thing but bordering on the better side. I just couldn't see us as not friends, but as an item was maybe a good idea.

(lol.. the whole fear thing works with me, one I never get stressed and two I am a natural procrastinator. I just always do it so the fear works better Razz
