Every year, hundreds of young men and woman are forced to drive the courses of the Hedron 956. Few make it. Between the tracks, your opponent's, and even your own car, danger is your constant companion.
The rules are very few; your vehicle can not have speed enhancements above a certain caliber, and a maximum of two people can win. Weapons and armour are no brainers.
The competition is brutal, and friends aside from your crew are scarce, because the prize is everything. The Track Wardens have something that motivates each racer. Whether it's a friend, family member, lover, money, or power no one can afford to lose.

Your bio must be in paragraph form, written as an extention of this starter (Be sure to mention your prize, and your car along with the usual stuff.) BE ORIGINAL. All else goes.

No one, that is, except for Dayna Maslovaski. Like most racers, Dayna was born to a poor family. She learned to fight off the dangers that plagued them, protecting her younger sister and ailing parents.
But this dark-haired 19 year old, who once had so much to care for, has lost everything to the evils of this world. All that is left is the race.
She's fierce, and impatient with a temper that shows all to quickly in her hard grey eyes, but she has intense protective instincts, and is a thoughtful friend. She's smart and careful when it comes to racing- she had to be to still be alive.
Her vehicle is a sleek, black sports car enhanced with 2 inch titanium plates in the back, doors, top and hood. Two silver-grey pin stripes that run around the car are the only decorations. The Night Hawk comes with standard defences, and a large range of high caliber weapons that erupt from their hiding spots at the push of a button.
Dayna is not allowed to leave- she brings the Wardens to much money to be wasted. Her life, and with it any hope of escape hangs in the balance of The Race.

Each generation of the Westin bloodline has had to deal with racing. And Connor is no different. His parents had him driving underage since the moment he turned 10. They couldn't afford to lose. At the height of their power, the pressure is on for 20 year old Connor. For 10 years, he's being dividing his time between racing and his normal life. meaning? his girlfriend and getting into a good college. but none of that matters if he doesn't live through the race. and they have Avery. he can't let them hurt her. no matter what. he promised her the day he met her that he wouldn't let his family affairs get in the way.
Well it did. And now his girlfriend has disappeared. Connor knows they have her. He just has to win to get her back.

He has a white Toyota‑FT‑HS‑Hybrid‑Sports‑Car that has special adaptation feature. It can shift shape and color. but only 2 times every other hour. so Connor has to time his shifts carefully. there's multiple guns that come out of their hiding places when needed and special jet engines he's never tried. just for a special occasion, as he likes to say.

Lucy Fairchild was young but very smart. She was taught, since inphancy(sp?), about cars. Her mother died in childbirth so all she had was her dad to take care of her, he brought her up like a son. She's the Westin's chief engineer and a good one too. Her fair skined face usually had a bit of paint or grease on it and her clothes are the same. She pratically lives in her blue jumper. She usually wears a welder's helmet so no one laughs at her girly appearence. She's a blond haired green eyed five foot chief engineer. Not many people would take her seriously. She knew Conner from school and his parents hired her after seeing what she could do when she came over once. Youngest engineer to be hired, since then she has trained with some the best courtesy of the Westins wallet's. She's better and fiercer than ever and ready to prove everyone wrong, that is if she lives,

Lucy: I pulled the welder's helmat done infront of my young face. Time to prep the car. I had been waiting for the qualifier race for weeks, studying and prepairing. Now I was ready to roll. I knew that the new crew wouldn't accept me for a while so I had to hide myself, the baggy jumpsuit did part of it and the welder's helmat finished off the look. I was ready, I just had to wait for Conner to bring the car back after his practise run.

Connor: I glance at the switch that would turn on the accelerators. but i don't press it. agains the rules. i can't....but i want to try it so badly! my hand hovers over it for a moment. i shake my head and place my hand back on the wheel, easing towards the right so i could go back to the garage.

Lucy: I go to the window of his car and knock on it. "You better not have pushed the accelorator. Or I am going to beat you to a pulp." I say roughly. I wanted to know if he knew it was me. If not I could milk this.

Connor: I roll down the window and raise an eyebrow. "Lucy? Is that you?" a smile creeps up on my lips. "Likin' the tough guy act," I nod appreciatively. I get out of the car and close the door gently. "Of course i didn't." i add after a moment.

Lucy: I lift the welding helmate and shush him. "They can't know. They won't take me seriously." I whispered quickly then I flipped the helmat back down. No one respected me because I was a girl, young and foolish many people call me. They think I am lying when I tell them I am an engineer, a chief one at that.

Connor: I roll my eyes. "I can talk to them if you want, um...Luke," i say with a smirk. I start walking away. "I have to go talk to my parents for a while about something. I'll be back in a little bit," I add, calling over my shoulder to her.

Dayna:

The rusty red dirt of the practice track flew up in clouds as I raced around the obstacles. Finally, after my black car looked orange I turned into the garage, and slipped out, pulling off my black helmet complete with it's two silver stripes. The water hose whispered as I turned it on and rinsed the dirt away.

Lucy: "Say a word and you are dead." I say in the gruff voice. I smiled under the helmat. He was a sweet guy, not the type that should race. I always fear that the races will break him. I shook my head and got back to work. I started on checking the oil. I realized that I had forgotten the oil. Dammit! I just had to borrow some from the next garage. "I'm off boys, Forgot the oil." I say gruff, I could hear the snikering in the background. I hated to be made fun of, profiling was bad enough.

Connor: When i get inside, my mom is sitting on the couch talking to my younger sister, Kim. "Hey mom, where's dad?" i ask her cheerfully, just for Kim. My mom smiles back and says, "his office. as usual."
Kim waves to me and then goes back to playing with her little race cars. i hesitate a moment. i can't believe that my younger sister would have to face the races one day. I sigh, walking towards my dad's office. or, his 'observatory', as he calls it.
"Dad..?" I knock lightly on his door as i open it. He's hunched over his desk, looking stressed out. "Hey," i call out softly. his head snaps up instantly. his eyes wide, then he calms down, taking his seat in his office chair.
"Connor," he nods to me. i sit down across from him.
"Has there been...any news?" I ask warily. He stares at me before looking down at his desk.
"No. I'm sorry son, nothing yet," he whispers. I nod, chewing on my lower lip. Avery's been missing for three weeks now. I haven't heard from her since...since our fight. I let out a deep breath and stand up.
"Thanks dad, i'll...i'll be back later," i toss over my shoulder, a little more harshly than i'd expected.

Lucy: I take off the sweltering helmat and let my twin blond braids fall to my back. "Much better." I sigh as I make the long hike to the garage, an half an hour hike up. I unzip my jumper and tie the arms around my waist, the cool air refreshing me. My plain white tank underneath was covered in dirt, I didn't expect to unzip the jumper until I came home to my apartment. My hot pink bra showed slightly through the thin matierial, no one was here to see me though. I sighed at the view of the racetrack, the beautiful cars driving through carefully. I wondered which ones would be smashed to pieces first.

Connor: I get into the car next to mine -- it was my father's, but it still worked smoothly. I rev the engine and i'm gone. I race up the hill, wondering if Zane (i just made him up, we don't ever have to use him at all if you don't want ) was home. Then i see Lucy again. I roll down my window. "Hey Luce, you wanna go for a ride?" i ask her with a grin.
