Elliot: I half smile, chuckling a little. "You're gonna have to rent me one, okay?" I look down at my feet, thinking. "Well, I think you should probably rest for the few hours you can before the race tomorr--I mean, today...?" I shrug. "I could walk you home." I add lightly.

Lucy: I shakily stand and take a deep breath. "I got the car in perfect condition, and I have a meeting with Conner soon anyway. I guess I shall just have a doughnut and wait for him." I say sighing. No sleep for little old me.

Elliot: I hesitate before jumping up off the stairs and standing up. "S'okay. I'll just..yeah," I scratch the back of my head and look away and at the wall for a moment. "See you at the races, I guess." I say thoughtfully, finally looking back to Lucy.

Lucy: I give him a smile and wave him off. With that I go to the kitchen and start eating doughnuts, it was around 4:38 and I was starving. I think I had eaten about four doughnuts before I felt sick, again.

Elliot: I wave back a little before heading out again, just walking.

Connor: I lay out on the couch in the front porch for a while, closing my eyes as a headache starts to pound against my skull. Ouch. I wince, then my eyes snap open as I hear footsteps. It's Elliot. He looks a little confused.
"Um, hey," I manage, bracing myself.
"'Sup," he jerks his chin at me. "Lucy's pretty beat up, I'd play nice if I were you, man," he adds, half smiling knowingly before taking a few loping strides down the steps and walking down the sidewalk.

Lucy: I got some ginger ale from thier pantry and chugged it down, I felt like a machine. A poorly working one at that, no more red bull. Ever. In my life, I swear to never drink it. Unless I have a good reason.

(you know...as I tihnk about it, I've never had red bull before...seriously o.o)

Connor: i stare after Elliot for a few moments. Okaayy...that wasn't weird at all. i should probably go in and see if Luce is doing alright. Maybe even talk to her about Jp. Or not. I still wasn't sure what to do about that. And not to mention the race tomorrow, plus Clarkson. I grind my teeth at the thought of him. I was gonna kill him. No doubt.

Lucy: With the race today Conner couldn't afford to be hung over. With a sigh I get some peto bizmol and ginger ale and went in serch for his sorry ass.

(o.O man, i'd probably never sleep again :S my mom keeps me away from mtn dew cuz of the caffeine...)
Connor: After another few moments stuck in an era of pain and suffering, I decide to get up. I have a race to win tomorrow. Or, later today, now. I sigh, slipping off of the couch and trudging inside the house. I gotta talk to Lucy first though. "Luc--" I start, then grimace as the sound of my own voice hurts my brain.

Lucy: I finnaly find him and shove the little cup of pepto in his face before he can speak. "Drink." I order, then hold out some advil with the ginger ale in the other hand. "Swallow." I wait patiently, he was totally hung over. I grinned, served him right.

Connor: I rub my forehead while I down the drink. "Sorry," I mumble. I hand the cup back to her to take the advil. I dry swallow it and look at the ground. "And hey, can I talk to you about something?" I ask her hesitantly. Here comes the awkward conversation about kissing that you should never have with your best friend - especially if they are of the opposite sex. I hold my breath.

Lucy: I put the cup down and cross my arms. "What?" I could feel my hands throb, I should have rewrapped them. Damn. All my injuries came back to me as all the adrenaline finally wore off.

Connor: I let out the breath, looking away to collect my thoughts before going back to meeting Lucy's ruthless stare. "Okay...you know how, I, well, when I kissed Jp?" I start, dying a little inside as I think about how I just sort of brushed it off for a while. "I...I tried talking to her, about it, and..she just..." I shrug, shrinking in on myself little by little. "She just shrugged it off like it was nothing and wouldn't let me say anything. I'm not sure if that means she's mad at me for kissing her, or mad because...because no one is exactly happy with me right now."

Lucy: I give him a nod to show I understand. "By no means do I fogive you, but knowing her she's mad at you because of the drinking and she doesn't really care that you kissed her. Just act like it didin't happen and you'll be fine. By the way, in my red bull high I fixed my baby and reorganised the entire garage." I answered.

Connor: My eyebrows raise. Well. That wasn't so bad. "Um...that's good..? I mean, wait, you had...Lucy, how many did you have?" I say slowly.

Connor: I shake my head. "Jesus, are you feeling alright? Do you need anything?" I ask her, concerned. I'm sure she felt just as bad as I did. Those Red bulls, nasty stuff in large quantities.

Connor: my smile falters at that. Oh yeah. I swallow hard. "Yeah. If I make it through the race," I mumble, looking at the ground. God, it's not like I want to talk to such a liar. And that guy that was with her. I'd rather skip. Definitely.

Lucy: My hard look softened for him, I may really be angry at him but I knew this talk would hurt him. I give him a tiny smile, more like a side smile. "With the way I geared my baby up you can't loose, the one good thing about redbull is that it keeps you going. I might've even reninvented the whole engine or something. I can't remember, it all happened in a blur." I say keeping my smile, it hardened though with the memory of last night.

Connor: I manage a grin. "I bet the engine would be smoother if you did a total make over." I yawn, my headache starting to pass. "Hey, I gotta get some rest. Want me to set up the spare bedroom for you? Or, I could walk you home..?"

Lucy: I looked away feeling the sting resurface from last night. "I'm fine, I can't sleep anyway. I've never been a nap taker." I explained looking at my feet awkwardly. I didn't want him to see the hurt in my eyes, I was Lucy. The strong independant one, the one who took care of herself and others. I wasn't the one who cried or felt sorry for herself.

Connor: "Oh. Well, I'd love to, but if you don't want to..." I trail off, shrugging. "I guess I'll see you at the races in a few hours." I half at her gently before walking off for the stairs.

Lucy: I blink glumly at the TV, another sappy soap about some lovers who are completely unreal.
"But James! I love you! How could you not be the father of the twins?" Some badly dressed woman says sobbing.
"Because, I know you were with Harold!"A super strong man in a tight t-shirt yells.
"No! Not Harold!"
"Yes, he told me last night at Miranda's wedding!"
I shut the Tv off before I went insane. Only thirty minutes before the race, it was time to go. Finally.
