Lucy: I glanced at him a shook my head, the red bull just started to make my nerves buzz it wouldn't last long considering how tired I am. I decided that I hated red bull around 1:30 in the morning, that was about two hours and four cans ago. I had another few cases ready to be open and my hands were shaking with the adrenaline, I never drink coffee or had a redbull before.

"Finished, you fell asleep around midnight and so I just finished a few minutes ago. All done. Want a red bull? I don't like red bull but it helps you stay awake!" I said speedily, was I quivering? I think I was quivering.

I giggled and started to scrub the wheels of the car.

Elliot: I don't even bother suppress my smirk. "I can tell. But, nah, I'm good." I stretch, then glance down at where Lucy is like, speed washing the wheels of the car. Jesus, someone was a little hyper. "Careful. Don't want to wear the tires down." I say, chuckling, rolling back and forth in the chair. I don't think I'll be having one of those red bulls if it means I turn out like that. Although if it helps me stay awake.

Lucy: I finished all four tires so they sparkled, even the dull black rubber seemed to have a slight gleam. I had already organised and cleaned the whole garage at two so I stood and bounced up and down. I couldn't take the silence, I ran over to the radio and turned it up full volume.

" I LOVE THIS SONG! Actually, I don't... It's okay. Oh well." I started to dance to it. I had so much energy! It was like it was exploding inside of me, boom!

Elliot: I have to laugh out loud to that. So I do. "Man, they gotta give that stuff to senior citizens or something." I snort, then stand up, going over to check the tires. It would be sort of sad if the tires were close to flat after she just cleaned them. I half smile, looking over at Lucy. I shouldn't rain on her parade. She's having so much fun.

Lucy: I stopped dancing and sat down suddenly exhausted. I reached for another redbull and chugged it down, thats when my stomach decided to hate me.

I could feel it gurgle unhappily and the redbull coming back up, I covered my mouth with my hands and ran to the nearest garbage can and puked my guts into it. When I stopped vomiting I shakily stood and felt more coming up, the garbge can was full. Crap. I threw open the door to Conner's house, that connected to the garage, and ran to the bathroom. There I puked up what was left of my guts and anything else.


I was sick and tired because the redbull had worn out, I was the very definition of a sick mess.

Lucy: I didn't even eat carrots last night...ugh...

Elliot: I peek around the corner when I see her barf. I close my eyes, there are just some things a man doesn't need to see in a lifetime. I open one eye and look at Lucy again. "You all aight?" I say cautiously. Thankfully I was downwind...but she looked miserable. I frown a little.

Lucy: "Too...much..red..bull.." I groaned. I bet I woke up the whole Westin house by now. Damn. I was hoping not to confront a Westin till the race. My thoughts are interupted again by another heave, I didn't have anything left in my stomach to heave. I think.

Elliot: I jump as I hear a loud yawn. I whip around and spot Connor. Or rather, an older version of Connor. He has his hand in his golden mop of a head. His blue eyes are bleary and he blinks at us. He yawns again.
"Guys, it's like..." he slolwy turns around to check the time. "3:10." he looks back to me. "In the morning." then he happens to notice Lucy. His forerad creases. "Man...do you want me to get Alex or somethin'?" he asks her.

Lucy: I wave a hand at him then grip the sides of the toilet bowl tightly as I release yet more from my stomach. "Just... make..it stop.." I moaned.

Elliot: I frown, taking a step toward her as Harvey trudged forward slowly. He still looks dead tired. He lifts her chin up and flicks the front if her neck. She jerks back, looking confused. He scratches his stomach and turns around.
"That should help. Your gag reflex nerves were going numb from all that drinking." another loud yawn. "Now go to bed." Harvey calls back to us, sounding annoyed. I raise a brow, then look over at Lucy. She's not barfing anymore.
"Who knew Harvey was so...educated." I half smile in amusement.

Lucy: I nod my speech temporarily out of service. I stand shakily only to fall down onto the ground at Elliot's feet. I couldn't help but laugh.

Elliot: I kneel down beside her, extending a hand to her. "Need some help there?"

Connor: I run my fingers through my hair in frustration. Why don't they ever let me say anything to them?! I think, pacing back and forth on the sidewalk out front.
"Yo! Connor! Get to bed you douche! What the hell is wrong with you?" I jump and whip around at the voice. It's an annoyed looking Harvey. My shoulders slump and I start to walk up the sidewalk to him. He's still glaring when I get up to the door.
"Not cool. I need my sleep, man." He grumbles.

Lucy: "Yes." I croaked, my throat raw from heaving. I shakily take his hand and get up. I stand and start making my way to my place through the super clean garage. I shudder at the sight of the empty red bull cans and continue on my way.
"Hi." I whisper when I see Harvey, he seems mean on the outside but he's really a big marsh mellow. I give him a hug in thanks.

Harvey: I blink down at the girl. I mean Lucy, Connor's little friend. I pat her back awkwardly. "Sure, sure. No problem, kid." I take a step away and slowly back away toward the stairs and the room I use when I'm here. That wasn't weird at all.

Lucy: I sit on the stairs with my head in my hands. Mood swings. Nausea. Unexplained urge to hit one's head against a wall. They should really label the side affects of redbull on the can.
I was shaking, or just really shakey, either way I didn't feel good. Then I knew I'd feel worse; I'd have to go see Avery. Good God. I guess I was as ready as I'd ever be.

Elliot: I plop down beside Lucy. "So...you wanna tell me what's goin on? I mean, what you did there? You might as well have gotten drunk or high or somethin'." I say, looking over at him.

Lucy: I throw him a look. "Too.Much.Red.Bull." I answer slowly. I feel so sick.

Elliot: I roll my eyes. "Yeah, no duhr..." I lean back with my elbows on the stair two steps up. "But you definitely needed the distraction, am I right? What was it that you and Westin were..um, 'discussing', about?" I ask, not looking at her. I'm sure it was some old relationship problems. I close my eyes, so much drama nowadays, sheesh.

Lucy: I narrowed my eyes, talk? Oh right! Last night. "You know that Avery died, right? Well, she's not dead." I say simply and sit down. I was so glad Conner wasn't up yet, or he was and just had a terrible hang over.

Elliot: I rack my brain for anything that sounded like that name. Avery...oh yeahs. She was that one chick in the picture on Connor's desk in the garage. She was pretty cute...dead. Oh, dead girl walking. "Huh. Well I still gotta go get me a one of those rifles if it's the apocalypse. With zombies and all..." she doesn't crack a smile. I sigh. "'Kay, fine. I'm sorry. I didn't know her or anythin', but she must've been a friend, right? And I get that. Losing a friend is hard." Or a family member. Or both. It's really hard. I clench my fists, then force them to relax when I realize I am.

Lucy: "She was Conner's girlfriend, killed for the sake of the races. Or so we thought. I already have six of the zomboe apocalypse guns thank you very much. Zombie uprisings aren't something to joke about." I say trying to lighten the mood and the headache forming in my skull.

Elliot: I half smile, chuckling a little. "You're gonna have to rent me one, okay?" I look down at my feet, thinking. "Well, I think you should probably rest for the few hours you can before the race tomorr--I mean, today...?" I shrug. "I could walk you home." I add lightly.
