Lucy: I raise an eyebrow and start shivering, it was freezing! "So Mr.Nice guy, you would leave a freezing girl to walk all the way to your car? Did I mention I was freezing?" I cracked a smiled but my teeth started to chatter.

Connor: I roll down my window, sighing. "Fine fine fine." I pull off my jacket, tossing it to her out the window with a half smile. "Better?" I ask she slips it on. I turn away for a moment and turn on the heat, reeling as it blasts me in the face. My expression contorts as the hot air warms my face way too fast. I turn it down slightly, turning the dials expertly so that the warm air is mainly on Lucy when she gets in.

Lucy: I slip into the car; soaking wet and freezing. I put on my seatbelt and curled myself close to a heater, shivering. "C-c-c-can w-we g-go n-now? I-I'm j-just alittle c-cold." I gave him a weak smile.

Connor: I frown at that. "Yeah, let's get you back to your place." I turn up the heat a little more before backing out of the parking lot and racing for her place. I run a hand through my hair rapidly, trying to dry it a bit. I was shivering a bit myself. I wasn't exactly the warmest since I wasn't wearing a shirt at the moment, but I was a hell of a lot better than Lucy was. As soon as I had the car in park and the key out of the ignition, I got out and ran around to Lucy's side of the car. I pull the door open, helping her out and wrapping an arm around her, attempting to warm her.

We run into Jp when we get to the front door. I make a face. I didn't know she was crashing here. She blinks in surprise.
"Oh hey guys." One glance at Lucy and Jp's gone. "I'll go get some blankets!" I hear as her voice fades. I lead Lucy into the living room carefully.

Lucy: I was shivering uncontrollably and my wet tanktop wasn't really helping either. I wrapped my arms around Conner's waist trying to absorb his warmth but my hands had lost feeling so they hung limply at my sides. I tried not to talk because I was sure my chattering teeth would bite my tongue. I let myself be led to the couch and wrapped with blankets yet I was still cold. I started muttering curses to jack frost and santa, how could they stand the cold?!

Connor: I thank Jp lightly before turning back to Lucy. I sit down on the couch next to her, sliding her over so that she sat in my lap. I hold her close, rubbing her arms so as to warm them up. "Feeling better?" I murmur in her ear in concern.

Jp: I lean against the doorframe, half smiling to myself. I guess the whole "just friends" thing didn't work out. I jump when I hear someone knock on the front door. I pull it open, blinking in surprise. It's Ky. He half smiles sheepishly.
"Hey, can I come in?" he asks warily. I open my mouth, hesitating before looking over my shoulder.
"Luce? Is it okay if I let Ky in?" I ask her. I mean, it's not exactly my house.

Lucy: I turn my head and smile to her. "Sure, be my guest." I snuggled into Conner's chest even though I wasn't cold anymore, I think he knew that too. As soon as Ky walked in I smiled.
"Ask Jp out or I will ask her for you, and if you do a lameass job at it I will take my frozen ass over to you and teach you a lesson on how to ask people out! Got it?" I shouted at him, from his and Jp's shocked expressions I knew I did a good job. I waved my hand limply in the air and wrapped my arms around Conner. "Resume!"

Jp: I can't even look at Ky for a few moments. THen I clear my throat, taking his arm and pulling him toward the kitchen. I shake my head, still not daring to look at his face. "Don't listen to Lucy. You don't have to ask me out or anything. I mean, earlier? That was really nice of you, but that doesn't mean you have to--"
"I want to."
I stop. We were in the kitchen now. "Say what?" I finally turn to him. And he's smiling. Then he drops his gaze, and I can see the slightest of blushes on his cheeks.
"Look, I..I've known you since we were both little, and I've actually liked you a lot longer than you think. And then everything with your brother and the races...Connor..." he trails off, looking back up at me. "So, if you say no to a date with me this Saturday, I completely understand."
I gulp. I don't want to say no. For two reasons. Ky's a total sweetie, and I don't want to be mean. I press my lips together.
"Sure," I manage, smiling when he raises his brows. "Don't be so surprised," I shake my head. "You're not so bad."
"Really?"
I nod. "Really."

Lucy: I waited to only hear silence, after counting to ten I took a deep breath. "You two better be kissing because I set this whole thing up. If you ruin it I will come after both of you with a vengence." I looked to Conner while smiling evilly. "I have been planning this for several months now, if they don't go on a date together I will get angery." I explained.

Connor: I raise my brows, then rest my chin on top of her head, running a hand down her arm with a smirk. "Really. I didn't know you were so devious."

Jp: I close my eyes, letting out a sigh; I hear Ky chuckle a little. I open an eye hesitantly. "Again, don't listen to Lucy," I mumble. He takes my hand, looking down at our clasped fingers.
"Lucy isn't so crazy, maybe I want to."
I feel my face warm over, and I can't hide a small smile. I can't even think of something to say to that.

Connor: I tilt my head down pressing my lips to her cheek, then brush them along her jaw. "Yeah?" I grin against her neck. "I'm sure you are..." I trail off.

Jp: I blink in surprise, then lean back against him, resting my hands on his shoulders.

Jp: I pull back, catching my breath and resting my forehead against his. "Wow." I murmur, staring into his light brown eyes.

Connor: I rest back against the couch cushions, pressing my lips together. "Well I'll see you bright and early then tomorrow at the track." I force a small smile before pulling myself reluctantly from Lucy and standing up.

Jp: I smile. "Yeah. I've love to," I say quietly.

Connor: I grin, taking a step back and waving my fingers at her over my shoulder. "Miss you too," I call.

Jp: "Sounds good. I'll talk to you tomorrow before the race," he ducks in to press his lips to mine lightly before walking out of the kitchen. I lean heavily against the kitchen counter, my head spinning.
"Yeah," I murmur to myself, finding a smile on my face.

Lucy: I have the blanket resting over my shoulders like a cape as I tread lightly into the kitchen. I get on my knees and crawl over to JP knowing she doesn't see me cause her back is turned to me. I get up and breath in her ear. "Want to see something really scary?" I whisper.
