Dayna slipped out of her garage andstrolled down the hill. She wanted to get a peek at the competition before the race started.

When Elliot was younger, up until he turned 16 and broke off from his family, he worked with his dad in multiple garages all over the country. But that's not it. His dad was on the run from many people. So he taught his son how to hot wire cars and how to change a flat tire faster than anyone. When you're running, there's no room for hesitation.

Elliot found himself in L.A working for a local repair shop and a somewhat normal life. He wanted nothing more to do with his dad, and the head of the shop gave him a new name. Spare. Elliot Spare. The tall dark haired repair-teen better than any repair man twice his age. But when money started getting tight, Elliot started looking for more work. And boy did he find it. The Westins. Everyone knows about them. They'd pay him triple what he'd been earning at the L.A shop. The Westins live right smack in the middle o a bunch of other garages of racers and Elliot knew he had to take the job. Money is almost everything to him. There isn't much to care about when you're Elliot

Dayna glaced into the various shops she past, occasionally seeing a car or a driver. Most of them stayed shut until race day. The young woman slipped her hands into her pockets and yawned, tired of waiting, ready to race.

Elliot : I wave off the stunned looking teens. "I'm gonna go for a walk," I throw over my shoulder at them. Maybe i'll run into a few other riders or something. I smile to myself.

[Ziva :)]

Dayna's mind wandered, she had grown bored of looking at other racers cars. She wasn't paying the slightest attention to where she was going so it shouldn't have been a surprise when she nearly ran into a guy coming from the Winston's garage.

Elliot : I stop the girl from running right into me by placing my hands on her shoulders. "Whoa, careful there girl," I smirk, dropping my hands and looking her over. She has that racer's quality to her. Most drivers have it, and boy does that Westin kid have it. Wait, a driver? Hm...
"Hey, you a driver chick?" I ask her curiously.

(I'm going driving up in the Rockies, so I probably won't have wifi or anything :p talk to you later)

"Yeah, I'm a driver," I answered. Was he knew here? I didn't recognise him.

Elliot : "Think you could give me a job? I'm sorta out of one. Apparently i'm not fit enough to work for the Westin's," I lie easily, rolling my eyes.

[Ziva :)]

Dayna raided one eyebrow. She didn't quite beleive that. "What can you do?"

Elliot : "what can I do? Girl, I'm the fastest tire changer around! 4.5 is the time to beat ever since I made it!" I grin down at her. "I cam also help with your differential breaks. Grease 'em out a little. " I shrug.

[Ziva :)]

Dayna smirked, "Tell me your name and you can prove how fast you are by changing my tires now," She jerked her thumb back towards her garage.

Elliot : "Name's Elliot. You?" I ask her, falling into step beside her as we walk towards her garage.

[Ziva :)]

"Dayna Maslovaski," she said, and unlocked the side door to the garage. As the door swung open, she reached in to turn on the lights. "So you think you're the fastest in the world?" Dayna pulled a stopwatch out of her pocket.

Elliot : I nod, kneeling down in front of the wheel and running my fingers over it. "These are nice tires..." I murmur, standing up and lookin for an extra tire. I roll it over to the work bench for the drill. I pull the trigger and grin over at Dayna. "Ready? One...two...three!" I immediatetly take out the first four bolts and roll the old tire away. I have the new one in by 3 seconds and the bolts in place by 4 or a few milliseconds more. I look over at Dayna to judge the time.

Dayna stopped the clock and smiled. "Four, almost five seconds- you just got yourself a job,"

Elliot : I laugh to myself, leaning back against the car smiling widely. "All right then; lemme finish changing you're tires and I'll see you tomorrow for qualifications,"

[Ziva :)]

"Sounds good to me. Who taught you to change 'em like that? Before now, the best I've been able to find is seven or eight seconds per tire," Dayna leaned over one of the tables, staightening tools ad picking up.

Elliot : I scratch the back of my head, making a face. What should I tell her. "Taught myself, really." I end up saying.
