The Lost Colony

So, what happened? I'm going to split the people into two groups. One group stays at the encampment to try to survive while the other goes to Croatoan to live with the Indians. You can have two characters. Preferably one from each group.

Our Story So Far: The Leave group has just left the colony and are far out in the woods looking for the Indian camp. The Stay group are continuing with their normal lives in the colony.

Victoria: I watched as my friends, my two brothers, and my neighbors walked into the woods. Starvation was running rampid throughout the colony and these people had decided to leave us. I thought that was even worse, no shelter, protection in any way. I started to cry for them.

William: I grabbed my new wife by the waist and we walked into the forest. I turned my head to see all the people waving us a last good-bye. I turned back around from my family and friends. It was too heart-breaking to look at them.

Victoria: I turned away from the people as they disappeared into the woods and started walking back to the cabin that I would share with no one.

William: I stepped over a log and a few roots jutting out of the ground, then reached out to retake my wife's hand.

Styla: I didn't want to let go of my brother, but I knew I had too. I pulled away, crying.

Jackson: I smiled at Styla, wiping away her tears and kissed her forehead. I then turned around and walked off.

verena: i look around out of curious everything is instereting to me right now

valentine: i stay there a bit and long in the way thye was walking to before returning to my cabin that me and my sister shared because neither one of was married and our parents die along time ago

I sigh and walked off, watching the people around me. I saw a guy who definately looked upset. Out of the kindness of my heart, I walked up to him. "Hello." I say softly, smile sad.

Emmaline clung to Nicolas's shoulders. "Please, you can't go," she pleaded, "Help will come soon, you'll see."
Nicolas shook his head. "I don't think it will," he said, "They have no way of finding us. I'm sorry my darling. I'll come for you as soon as I can. I'll always love you." He kissed her gently and walked into the woods.

valentine:" hello there " when i notice a girl walk up to me

"I've never seen you around here." I say, clasping my hands in front of me. I look up at him, face flushed.

[Fallen rose]

valentine:" me either i'm valentine"

[Cali]

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Styla." I say and look forward. I wanted to ask if he had someone that left but I knew it would upset him. I didn't like making people upset.

[Fallen rose]

valentine;" nice meet you too styla" i push the thought of my sister to the back of my mind for right now

A tear slid down Emmaline's face as she watched Nicolas walk into the forest. This couldn't be real. Help was coming soon, she could feel it. But Nicolas would have none of it. He was convinvced they would all die unless they moved, sought the help of the savage Indians. She watched until he was out of sight.
Nicolas walked through the forest with the others. His mind was wandering back to his bride-to-be. When they made it back, he would marry her right away. Assuming they were both still alive...

[Cali]

"How come I've never seen you here before?" I ask.

[Fallen rose]

valentine;" my twin sister i be teaching her and looking after her she was hearted breaked after our parents died"

[Cali]

I blinked, "Oh." I looked down, "Sorry about your loss. My condolences."

[Fallen rose]

valentine:" its okay it was long time ago i barely remember my parents i just kind of upset because my sister was part of the group that leave"

[Cali]

I blink and nod, "I understand. My brother was apart of that group too." I say softly, closing my eyes.

Emmaline felt a strange urge to run after Nicolas, but she surpressed it. That would be sucicide. She could get lost, or worse. This was how she knew that Nicolas wouldn't come back.

[Fallen rose]

verena: i end up tripping because i wasn't looking where i was going

valentine:" oh they will be okay "

Styla: "I really hope so." I say, tearing up.

Jackson: I help steady the girl that had tripped.
