I closed my eyes as I sat up, facing him. "Neither have I. But that's what my mother was until..." I trailed off, sadness entering my eyes.

Fox: I sauntered out of the bathroom. "Still here?" I asked Dimitri. He glanced at me once before looking down at Shaylee.
"If you need anything, all you have to do is ask," he said. Then he left.
I rolled my eyes and mimicked him under my breath with my hand doing the talking. I dropped down on my bed and winced as my ribs protested.

I smiled and nodded. I sent a quick thought to Dimitri, Thank you. I looked at Fox and saw she was still in pain. "Do you want me to heal you? It's one of the effects of Spirit and Earth controlling."

Fox: "Nooo, thank you," I said waving my hand. "I'm fine."

Fox: I sat on the bed and tossed the ice bag from hand to hand.

Shaylee~ I glanced at Fox then darted towards the door, out of the room. I got outside and hid up in a tree breathing hard.

Fox: "What the..." I trailed off before I could let loose a stream of profanities and followed after Shaylee. I spotted her in a tree. "What are you doing?" I asked the mentally impaired tree climber.

"I needed some air." I called. I jumped down, landing silently. "Look. I'm sorry about what I did to you. I really am. If you knew what I went through I think you would understand but I know that if I told anyone, i'd be dead." I said, all in one breath.

Fox: I stared at her--more like gaped. "Does your past truly justify your breaking of my ribs?" I asked. "Whatever happened you has nothing to do with me so why did you take it out on me?" My wrist twinged with pain as I waved it around to make my point.
The gold hoops in my ears caught the light of the rising sun. Oh no, I had to depart ASAP or feel the wrath of sunlight.

I looked up at the horison and cursed. "Look I said I'm sorry. I don't know what the hell you want me to say to make me prove it to you, but let me make myself clear. My past is something I am not proud of. I'm sorry I hurt you, I really am. But you need to listen to me when I tell you that. I'm truly sorry." I turned around fast and instantly ran towards my dorm with incredible speed.

Fox: I stared after her. I seriously doubted her past could hold a candle to mine. Had she watched her father, mother, and brothers torn to pieces before her eyes? I wasn't saying she didn't have scars; I was just saying she shouldn't be so quick to judge those around her.
I shook my head and walked to my dorm. I went to my room and sat on my bed.

I closed my eyes as I shut my door behind me and sighed. I then felt a cold hand on my arm, bring me down to the ground. I screamed as I was pinned down by my father's friend David. Tears welled up in my eyes. "Well, looks like Shawn was right. Here you are." he whispered. I shouted, "Somebody help me!" He drove a knife into my stomach. I cried out, tears shedding as pain started to slowly consume me.

Fox: I darted to my feet and sprinted down the hall. The shout had come from on of the rooms at the end of the hall. I kicked the door the open and took in the scene before me. A man had Shaylee pinned to the ground. Tears rolled down her cheek and I saw a knife sticking out of her stomach.
The man looked up at me and yanked the knife viciously out of Shaylee's stomach. He raised it over her chest. I didn't think. I tackled him. We rolled off of Shaylee and across the room. Pain exploded in my ribs as we hit the far wall. He was on top of me.
Smart, Fox, real smart.
He drove the knife down. My arms were pinned, but the knife stopped an inch above my neck. Thin air held it in place.
The man's eyes grew wide. I waggled my eyebrows and kneed him in the crotch. His grip on the knife loosened and with my mind, I twisted the air around it. The knife flew across the room.

I weakly raised my hand at David and whispered, "Burn bitch burn." Fire streamed out of my hands as he caught on fire.

Fox: "Jesus, you trying to burn me?!" I kicked the guy off me and scrambled to the far wall.

Tandia: I ran outside. My extreme senses let me hear very well. One of the perks of being a strigoi I suppose. Not that anyone knows. I slowed down before someone decided to ask how in the world a moroi could runs o fast and stopped at the scene before me. My jaw fell open at the scene before me and I stood there, unsure of what to do.
