There was sudden explosions that could slightly be heard. It was from the next city over, the war was probably going to destroy the entire border, but this was the safest drake city along the entire border. The Americans wouldn't dare to touch this city any time soon.

"Don't yell at me!" My face was still wet with tears, I didn't know what to do... All this put me ending up in more tears but I ran back downstairs to the kitchen and opened the freezer.

I grabbed 2 icepacks and some water from the fridge and freezer. I ran upstairs with it all, and I got to them and dropped 1 of the icepacks and the water. "The Icepack's for her, the water's for you." My voice was broken up because of the crying, but I rushed back down to the kitchen again.

I got one more glass of water from the fridge I ran up to hand it to Alenia, but stopped half way up the stairs. The tears had now become so harsh I couldn't see where I was walking. So I sat there on the stairs.

Deckland told Alenia to continue to try to wake up Alice before going to Jasmine. He saw her on the stairs crying and his worry became even more bigger. "Jasmine?" He said, his voice cracking and worried. It was also thick with tears.

I looked up to him for a moment, and put the drink down I was trying to give Alenia. "Give that to Alenia... please." I turned and ran back down, hitting the wall at the bottom, but I turned and kept going towards the living room.

"J-Jasmine!!" He yelled, his voice cracking but he picked up the glass and took it back to Alenia. Alice was coughing terribly and Alenia was crying.

Once Alice was better, Deckland argued with her. She was telling him that she was okay but he was telling her that she wasn't.

I listened to them arguing, trying to calm down, but nothing was working to calm me down. Very few people have ever yelled at me, and the few who did, Anthony was always there to explain why that was a bad idea. Even growing up in Dezna Training Schools, not even the teachers dared yell at me.

Deckland simply got up and left. He was just confused and worried and scared and shaken up. He went down the stairs, out the door and walked away from everything. Alice was following him, yelling at him to come back but he ignored her and just walked away.

I heard the door as Deckland left. I had to calm down fast, and nothing was helping... On top of it all I knew I'd most likely never see my brother again.

I ran over to her, my eyes we're still wet from the tears, but finally I had stopped crying for the most part. I was without words but I stopped in front of Alice.

Alice looked at Jasmine, tears falling. "Deckland's not coming back. Anthony's not coming back either, isn't he....?" she asked, her voice tired. Her eyes were tired and pain, the eyes of a girl giving up for the first time in a while.
