(Jasmine and Deckland just saw the battle videos from trying to get Alenia.)

Deckland couldn't believe what he had seen. It was supposed to be simple. They go get Alenia, and bring her back. And yet, all of this shit happened!?!

Alice sat on the bed where Alenia slept, her head in her hands. She looked to Alenia when she stirred with a small whimper leaving her. Alice moved closer and picked up her baby sister, holding her close. When Alenia started screaming, Alice panicked, desperately trying to wake her up.

Jasmine had run down the porch and she sat, in tears. Anthony stood next to Deckland. "They did there job to say the least. She's here, you are, and so is Alice. I've got to go." He began walking off towards the front door. "The Americans are mounting a counter attack. All... of Dezna is required to be in the defense."

Deckland sat down beside Jasmine, looking at her worriedly. He then looked up at Anthony until he heard Alenia's high pitched screams of bloody murder and Alice's desperate pleas and crying. He jumped up and ran inside, up the stairs, and into the room where they were. Alice was a few feet away, crying her eyes out as she watched their baby sister convulse and spasm, screaming. Deckland ran to Alenia's side and held her down, begging for her to wake up right now .

Anthony sighed as he heard the screams. He knew he was the cause, he had to hide something from the rest of the group though. The only way to do that had become to leave them though. He kept walking, as hard as it was for him, now they were in danger, and Dezna was responsible for their protection.
I already knew why he was leaving, he failed at hiding it from me, now I sat there in tears, both for the little girl who I had just met, and because of him. I wanted to run away again, but I couldn't..... Something would happen that'd bring me back...

Alenia shot up, eyes wide with fear. She was shaking and crying, clinging to Deckland's shirt. When he looked to Alice, he didn't see her standing. He saw her on the ground, looking unconscious. "Alice!!" He yelled before grabbing Alenia and running towards her.

As Anthony turned the corner a transporter was already waiting for him. He got in, and it began to take off.

I tried to stand up, unsuccessfully.. I simply fell back to the ground and began crying again.

(This is such a happy book right now lol.)
