- Anthony's front -
"Field command, we have 3 planes fully fueled and armed, ready to go. If you need strikes give us the coordinates, sounds like shit's getting pretty bad down there."
"All forces pull away from the industrial district, and go into stealth active. I need all strikes to bomb the hell out of the industrial district until there's no Americans left in there. This city is still at risk to fall guys, don't give them any leeway."
"Retreat sir?" One of the soldiers said, sounding fairly confident.
"To hell with retreat, deznians will stand even after their dead." Anthony replied, it was an old morale booster that the original Deznian general said during the first Dramerican war.
"Well what about the enemy?"
"What enemy?" Bombs began going off in the Industrial district. "I seem to have lost contact with this so called enemy." Anthony joked.

(I just realized I've been saying Kyle instead of Anthony. Wrong story fail.)

Alice: I heard footsteps, light but slightly off. I didn't need to look up to see who it was. I smiled, "Glad you could make it Deckland," I said softly.

His chuckle warmed my heart, "Never knew how much a gunshot hurts."

"And?"

"And it hurts like bi...uhm..." it was obvious he noticed Alenia.

"It hurts like a b-word," he corrected, rubbing the back of his neck.

-Dezna front 2- *Belshwa*

"This is Dezna front 2 field command to Dezna ground base, we will not accept orders of retreat. I want an immediate connection to Dezna Golf Echo." A voice came onto the Primary connection channel.
"Dezna Front 2 please confirm your statuses."
Without a moment of pause, "The Americans are surrounding us, we have no marked lines, and friendlies are scattered everywhere. We need immediate reinforcements or their going to march right over us, retreat is no longer an option for us."
"This is Field command of Dezna front 1, we can send minimal forces to try and allow front 2 to reorganize, but we are currently proceeding with major firestorms of our own." Another voice came over it.
"Ground base to all units, we need confirmation codes before we can establish a connection to Golf Echo."

-Anthony's front-
"Alright guys any Americans left in the industrial zone should be crawling for their lives, push up and secure Alve cove." Night was beginning to set, and you could see the sunsetting just beyond the smoke clouds.
"Hey commander... I'm sorry to say this sir, but the Americans have overwhelmed our position, we're not going to hold out the night."
"You will hold out the night. Conserve your ammo, and set up traps for the Americans, WE WILL BE THERE TO GET YOU!" Anthony yelled.
A man chuckling on the radio said, "Well commander, 1 sunset under your command, and it seems like the most beautiful one I've seen since I joined this damned military. We'll fight it out the best we can, no promises we'll be of any help if we make it out."
Anthony's voice softened as he realized it was sunset. "You'll make it, Captain Raines, you are field command of that section of this city. You have 5 airstrikes at the ready, give em hell. Our birds tend to look beautiful during the sunset."

My emotions were completely split and I had no clue what to say. Half of me was terribly sad, but then half of me was extremely happy to know that Deck was okay.

(Yea Captain Raines was in WVS. I don't remember if he was American or not but it's a drake name... English laws says that name shouldn't be possible : P.)

-Deznian 2nd Front- *Belshwa*
"Negative we don't have call codes, our operator is shot and there's blood all over the command paper..."

-Anthony's Front-
"Alright I'm done with this bullshit..." Anthony's voice extremely annoyed. "Field command to ground command, please confirm you copy."
"10 and 4 Anthony but we have some minor issues on the 2nd deznian front so call lines are limited."
"Well if you can clear us up we have about 100 troops at the ready that can reinforce them. We are at last resort the Americans just got another wave of reinforcements, go codes for Operation Hailstorm. Delta Alpha Foxtrot. We need everything you have stored in ground command..."
"Operation Hailstorm is a go, do you have marked lines?"
"Negative, we have 3 divisions somewhere in the city and they have minimal contact with us at the moment."
"10-4 closing call channel 6-1-0-4 for operation Hailstorm, best of luck commander."

3 men dashed through the hallway shoving most of the group to the side. I watched them after regaining my balance.

I steadied Deckland, his leg was still messed up. "Maybe you should sit?" I offered and he grunted.

"Uh-uh. I'm tough."

"Okay, Mr. Tough, if you are so strong and tough and mighty, why is it that you need your little sister to keep you up?" I said with a smirk, hoping to lighten up the mood. Alenia stayed by Jasmine.

Throughout the base a loud speaker picked up. "All members of the Drake's Expeditionary Force and the Drake's Deznian Force are to immediately prepare for deployment. All Drake aircraft are to be in the air in 10 minutes OR LESS! Operation Hailstorm has been ordered by Commander of the Deznian 3rd seat. I will repeat, all forces need to immediately prepare for active status, this is not a Drill."
I looked at the direction the men had ran from, then I looked at Deckland and Alice, then to Alenia. "We need to go back to the HQ room." I said to them all, "That fool has no clue what he's doing..."

Alenia, who looked like a little trooper, saluted. "Aye Aye, captain," she giggled. She didn't know the importance of what was happening. I looked to Deckland who looked majorly pissed. "I'm guessing this is bad news?"

I giggled at Alenia before holding my hand out for her. Then looked at Alice and Deckland, "Welcome to command... Nothings good news, sometimes it's neutral though." I joked.

"Well the neutral half of the news is Anthony is handing out the orders now, so that fool is just giving out directions and Anthony's calling the shots..." I began walking down the hall towards the command room. "And as promised, bad news is Hailstorm isn't exactly an operation, it's a last resort Deznian Emergency code... Basically means that the Deznian force is unable to complete their mission within their field command's time limits... Gets better then that too..." I stopped talking for a moment to see if they had any questions for what I had already said.

I laughed a very small bit. "Regardless that it's a bad situation in general, the amount of firepower it unleashes... You should be able to feel the ground shake for miles around... So it's unlikely that we'll lose after that." I was at the least glad to remember that we never played nice when there's enemies right outside our doorsteps. In addition I was trying to use the longest complicated way to explain so Alenia wouldn't understand....

Alice: I nodded, crossing my arms and gazed at the ground.

"Don't think to hard," Deckland chuckled.

I flipped him the bird while Alenia wasn't paying attention. "Don't test me, Deckland Alexander Redfield." I smirked.

His face became flushed, "Ma'am yes ma'am, Alice Jennifer Cross," he countered with a grin. I'd kick his ass later.

This oughta be a good ride for both Anthony and the Americans... In the Drake's whole history we've only organized 2 times before for Operation Hailstorm, and neither time turned out to well. I thought to myself, there was some things I purely wasn't allowed to tell them, as bad as I felt for hiding it.

I sighed walking to the room with Alenia next to me, "You 2 act like your married not brother and sister." I began to giggle.

-Anthony's front-

"Damn it, send what airsupport you can now ground command, Americans are also attempting to establish Air superiority here, and if they gain it we're screwed. It's going to be one hell of a dog fight as it is. Jackson take out that Chopper at 11 O'clock before it chews a hole in our line."
"Saveral to field command, requesting heavy ordinance strikes at pre-established coordinates 0-0-3-2-9."
"You'll have your strike as soon as we can set up usable heavy ordinance... Can't promise that'll be soon though. I'll send you a rocket strike but that's the best I can do right now Saveral, the Americans have us pinned down to hard to set up even minor ordinance... Jordan, get your squad together, you know where to send those rockets, on my command."

Alice: I nearly gagged, "Oh god. I think I might just die." I groaned, pushing Deckland away as he coughed, shaking his head. "I don't think so Jasmine," he grunted.

God, when all of this shit is over, he's gonna get his ass kicked one way or another.

I laughed as well, I could just feel the looks radiating towards me. I didn't look back though, I tried to avoid actually looking at them, so I continued walking with a smile on my face.
