The Valley

Today we may have failed to do what we have tried. But let it be know that tomorrow, yes tomorrow our flag will fly above our enemy. Command told us to give them hell, then they told us to retreat at the very edge of a defeat on this battlefield today. I told command that they could go to hell, cause we're going to keep giving that to the enemy. Tomorrow! Tomorrow! Tomorrow!

32 years ago tomorrow our ancestors chanted tomorrow for an hour straight from 19:28-20:25, screaming it so loud that the Americans trembled out of fear realizing the true beast they had unleashed. They stood in this valley and held the Americans off for 6 days without a single break in the line after that. Tomorrow was the day that they began to win that war, today we are losing a war against unknown enemies. Creatures that no one has seen before. The Americans and Russians deal with the same issue, and for the first time in history all of the people of earth are in co-operation with eachother to protect themselves from 1 common enemy.

The situation is as follows, Deznia, the most elite military force in the world has failed several times against this enemy, 32 years ago they fought, died and murdered as many Americans as they possibly could to defend the civilians of the Drakes Empire, right here in this very valley. Now they fight side by side with the Americans and many other nations in this valley to defend against an enemy that has well surpassed us in so many ways. Aliens? No the Mexican army fights side by side with us as well as the Canadians. These creatures came from the ground, they bred, advanced, and attacked from a place called Atlantis.
Now we are stuck with the enemy slowly advancing against us, this valley is the last operations base in the entire Drake's Empire, it cannot fall, or it will be the end of the planet. There is word of small militias starting amongst the people to rise up and help the worlds armies, will you aid them? Will you watch them die? Will you kill them off and take your own side?


Okay since not even I can understand this let me lay this out for you. Atlantis has unleashed its advanced armies, and pretty much crippled the world. Now the Drake's have established 1 last line of defense before the entire nation falls, All other major empires have already been destroyed and the remains of their armies and civilians have flocked to this base to hopefully turn the tide of this war, or die side by side defending all they have left. This story you have a lot of choices for your chars let me lay them out.

NOTE: If your going to have a child char(13 and under), you CANNOT wield a weapon unless you are a member of the Drake's Imperial Military. No exceptions can be made for this, this is based for reality with a twist. Drake's are only allowed to wield weapons because the Nation was started from a Childrens Militia, other then that it is seen as unmoral to allow a child to wield weaponry at a government level.

Name - Alicia Levway
Age - 12
Personality - She is very well mannered and respectful. Her parents are of high social status, although she has a small attitude when they're around, she's generally nice the rest of the time.
Position(National Military/Militia/Civilian/Rouge) - Drake Imperial Army
Looks - She wears her brown hair as long as military standard allows her to, she wears all the standard clothing of the Drake's military but wears a necklace(Prohibited by the drakes) as well. It's of a small dragon with blue wings and guarding a crystal.
Family - Her family is well suited in the social class, though she doesn't get along with most of them.
Bio - She was drafted by Drake law when the Deznians began to collapse. Before that she was studying in military tactics, she was nearly immediately given the rank of specialist for the Deznian tactical division.
Other - She can be very playful when people are around, and is very outgoing and likes to make friends. She can quickly be upset when she feels someone is upset with her, and normally becomes closed up until they tell her what she did wrong.

Personality - Gives off a rough look but is actually very nice, strong spirited and will fight the battle to the end

Looks - 6'3" Muscular, short brown hair and brown eyes, wears his unform, never leaves his side arm anywhere except its holster
Family - Orphaned never knew his parents grew up in military school and has been here ever since
Bio - He was brought up a military by and now knows nothing else, he still holds old rivalrys against other countries but put them aside most of the time
Other - He is a expert marksman, his favourite weapon is a .50 caliber sniper rifle and his side arm a Star .45 hand gun

"Commander can you make out the patch for them?" I asked.
"Yeah, looks like the Canadian's are finally here. OPEN THE GATES." He yelled to a group of soldiers standing behind a gate. They let their guns lay down as they pulled the gates open, and another group came and pointed their weapons at the incoming Canadian soldiers so they wouldn't pass until the Commander had gotten there.
"Come on Alicia." He began to run for the gate as I followed.

As I aproach the gate I look at the welcome party "Sorry sir" I say raising my arm to salute but pulling back because of the wound are my arm. "But I'm the only one who is coming back" I lower my head in respect.

"What happened out there? Where's the rest of your force?" The commander asked. His voice was always stern, but he had a way of making it less intimidating.
"What happened to your arm too?" I added.

"Sir, they attacked us in the middle of the night. We weren't ready for them. My arm was hit when me and the last squad tryed to escape." I report to him96+-+-

The Commander nodded his head, "Go get yourself healed up soldier. Alicia, see to it that he sees the attention he needs." He turned away and walked back to the tower as the other soldiers lowered their weapons.

"Yes sir." I say saluting. I turn to the little girl "So I'm suppose to follow you then?" I say looking down at her

I watched the commander walk off. Then shook my head, "Uhm yeah, I guess so. Come on." I turned and began to walk to the infirmary.

I follow the girl "So how does some one of your age get into the military? Isn't that illegal?" I ask her trying to make small talk

"In your army it would be." She looked at him real quick. "30% of our army is made of people my age. You've never heard the stories of how the Empire was started?" She asked him.

"No I can't say I have" I answer her

She gave a very low laugh. "Our nation was founded by a militia of children during the American Imperial age. The Americans made the sad mistake of limiting the rights of people, and a bunch of kids were the first to say that's enough. Then a 4 day stalemate commenced between the American Alliance's military and what had become an entire region uprising against them."
The girl opened the door to the infirmary for him. "Matter of a fact your country was part of the American alliance at the time." She continued. "If I remember right well over 1,000 Canadians died in that battle, which was mild compared to the other countries involved and the rebels."

"Actually my country was caught in the middle we didn't know who we where fighting for or with" I walk into the infirmary unbuttoning my jacket shifting my sidearm holster slightly "thank you and if I am needed for anything please tell me right away

"You were still involved." She giggled. "And I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to rest. The British are next to scout so what's left of the Canadian forces should be here for a while. Let me know if you need anything, I'll be in the General's tower or the strongroom." She smiled and gave a small wave as she began to walk away.

"Thanks" I say as she leaves.
