Gaara sighed, taking her hand gently, "I didn't mean to be so distant. I just, don't want anything to happen to you so when we go somewhere I have to pay close attention to make sure we're not ambushed."

Nite shook her head, feeling all her pent up frustration rising to the surface, "Goddamnit no it's not! I should've been there! I knew full well something like this could've happened! I know we're on the brink of war, but I still irresponsibly go off willy nilly like a used as a little girl! I always forget that I have an entire village trusting me and my troops to be the first line of defense and if I can't be trusted to do that then the entire goddamn village is doomed!" she yelled, face red.

Nite stared at him, "But if I can't do the job then I don't deserve it. I don't want to have the job just because Naruto is one of my best friends. I got the job because I was right for it, and the entire village you, Mitsuki, Sakura, Ino-our baby are all counting on me and the recruits I train to know these things. I can't let everyone down, just because things get a little stressful at home. Tsunade-Sama never faltered in her job. Neither did Atsu-sensei....she taught me to be strong in even the worst situations and lately-it's been like I've let her down."
