She nodded softly, hands balled into fists, eyes shut tight. She could feel that whatever the world had planned for her village, it would need something strong. Something...new and unknown.

"Sakura...I have something I need to do. Stay with Sasuke until I get back. I'll have my phone with me, call me if anything happens?"

Nite sighed, seeing no point in keeping it a secret. For a change, she opened up her mouth a told her intentions to someone other than her future husband. "I'm going to see about blending the Orochi form I inheirited from our father with the curse mark. It may very well be the balance between saving and destroying the village if I can controll it. It will be something no one knows how to deflect and right now, that's what Konoha needs."

Sakura paled at hearing this.
"Nite, this could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing. What about the baby?" she asked, concerned.

Nite closed her eyes, torn between her love for her child and her village. "I can't hesitate, Sakura. What if I do nothing and we lose and I and the child die for my hestance along with Konoha. I promise to be careful. Besides, I've been going into those forms as much as possible so as to adjust the baby to them. I just...I can't wait any more. The war is growing close. I can feel it."

"I can too, Nite but...I don't know...I'm not just saying this as your sister but I'm also saying this because I know that if, Kami forbid, something happens to this baby, Sasuke is never going to live with himself because he's going to feel like it's his fault. What if..." she paused for a moment, biting her lip.
"What if we somehow merge the Orochi form into my blood? I have the curse mark and my form. The Orochi form could add an extra boost to it...like adrenaline."

Nite thought for a moment, "I think before we do anything, we need to talk to the only person that would know the details of our bloodline and the affects these things could have if merged," she looked down, closing her eyes. She felt bile rising in her throat at the thought that they'd have to go see the vile woman that had abandoned them. "We will have to pay the woman that birthed us a visit," she managed through gritted teeth, refusing to call her, 'mother'. She knew that it probably didn't sting as much for Sakura. She'd had a family. For Nite, the thought of her orphaned childhood burned like the very fire she controlled.

Sakura nodded, a look of slight hate in her eyes. But it wasn't for her.
It was for her sister.
That woman gave her to a home but not Nite? How could she be so cruel?
So while it did sting for her, it wasn't because that woman gave her to the Haruno family, it was because she didn't give Nite a family to live with.
"We'll leave once we know for a fact Konoha isn't in any immediate danger. And the same goes for Sasuke."

Nite nodded softly, "I didn't mean immidiately. Come to think of it, the more distant and brief any conversation I have with that woman, the better." There was a faint hiss in her voice, her hackles raised.

Nite nodded, taking a deep breath, "That's the one hatred and disgust I'll never be able to get over. It was one I never really thought of until Seto was born. How could a mother ever get rid of her children. What kind of consciousless woman would do such a thing? And she shan't dare thread me some bullshit about how it was for safety, because if I love my child enough to keep him protected for four years from the council- from my own goddamn students without ever once dreaming of abandoning him. If I can face the ridicule of an entire village for giving birth to a criminal's son with a high head and a broad smile, then why couldn't she love us enough to protect us and keep us!!" her voice had steadily risen from a predatory growl to an outright scream as every emotion she'd ever held back on the subject of her mother rose to the surface and bubbled over. "Didn't she at least wonder what became of us?!"

Despite being inches taller than her sister-especially in this form- she seemed to shrink as her thin fingers burried in the fabric of Sakura's nurse's uniform.

"And I don't think we ever will. Because I get what you're saying. When I learned that I was pregnant with Natsume, the looks I got were the worst because it was Naruto's son I was carrying. But I let it go because I never wanted my son to know of malice or pain. And I know that you were the same way with Seto. I was there will you through the whole thing and I would do it again, sister. It doesn't matter what that woman did. She'll never know the meaning of family."

Slowly, the viscious swish of her tail died down to a simple flick of the tip and the tightness of her grip begins to relax. Nite sniffled slightly and pulled away, noting that her emotions seemed to be a bit unstable when she took this form.

She let out a squeaked meow as she looked up, barely having time to blush for the humiliating sound that just left her throat as she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly.
