“Kurosaki-Kun...We should name her soon,” she whispered, eyes fluttering as she looked into his brown eyes with her deep gray ones that just barely had a slight glimmer of light. “We should...”
For a moment, her voice trailed off and her eyes closed.

Renji's head bowed. Tatsuki began to cry. Hitsugaya shushed his son and held him as he cried softly. Isshin was crying softly.

Hitsugaya felt tears in his eyes as he pulled her close.

"Misaki..," she whispered with a smile. That was Ichigo's mother's name.
She coughed again, some blood coming up. Her heartbeat was slowing down.
“Nee, Kurosaki-Kun...My eyes are blurring...and it's getting so dark..,” she whispered in a quiet rasp no louder than her own breath. Her heartbeat was starting to slow down, true realization of this moment hitting her husband in the face. She was dying.

"Don't cry, Kurosaki-kun,"she whispered no louder than her own breath. Her eyes were fluttering shut.
For a moment, her voice trailed off and her eyes closed.
A minute later, her eyes weakly fluttered open. “Nee, Kurosaki-kun...I'm tired...Can I sleep for a moment?” she weakly breathed, her hand shaking as she reached out to him.
